The more battle scarred she gets the more beautiful she looks.
There's just something about a woman holding a blaster in a skintight white uniform with cuts all over her back that awakens the force in me.

I'd take Padme over wonder girl any day of the week.
Kinda kills it for me really. It makes Star Wars feel like Marvel. I always appreciated how the movies we got were so few and far between. Hell, even after Star War's monster success it never made it back to tv until the cartoon series in the early 2000s. (Though perhaps that had more to do with the smashing success of the Holiday Special.)
It made it feel special to me. Guess that's going out the window too.
You really don't know Star Wars history, do you? After Star Wars monster success, there was (in order) the dreadful Holiday Special, (sequels Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi), Ewoks: Caravan of Courage, Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, the Droids animated series, and the Ewoks animated series. It was only after those two series failed that Star Wars went off the air (though it continued in novels for the entire period, and there were a few then-canon video games added to the story as well in the interim) until the Attack of the Clones brought it back. If Rogue One is better than the Holiday Special, or better yet the Ewok movies, we're doing okay.
You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

I used to own the Ewok movies and cartoon as well as the droids cartoon. I physically bleached them from my memory as soon as I finished them and after I burned the discs. Just like how I purged 693 from my memory.
Though sometimes I still get flashes of it:
He Who is Brave is Free-Seneca
^I have a lightsaber your argument is invalid^
"You may be called upon yet again to defend the glory of the Republic against the tyranny of the Dark Side. For this, is the destiny, of the Jedi..."

Yeah, but I was responding to the idea they "didn't even make it back to TV."

Hell yeah I've always liked with where her character went, not to mention the master-Padawan bond she and anakin had throughout the series was just pure amazingness so this fight is gonna be really emotional for me.

Especially with how she chooses not to return to the Jedi Order after all was said and done. She basically had even more in common with Anakin now, with being disillusioned by the present Order with how the leadership pretty much instantly branded her guilty and a traitor with no hard evidence, with only really Anakin and Plo Koon believing in her.

honestly i don't think of all the stuff in the clone wars as canon like ahsoka's banishment just seemed like a clunky way to have her leave and come back again. and of course darth maul not being dead is another thing

It's all canon, but the problem is that the series got cancelled after that fifth season, so it left a number of loose ends which, hopefully, Rebels will be able to fill some in, like I believe that's Darth Maul we catch a very brief glimpse of speaking in that trailer and, of course, now tying Episode VII in more closely with that Kylo Ren style lightsaber.

i know it is i just don't consider things canon that don't fit in with the original movies like darth maul not being dead or anakin having a apprentice like if you watch revenge of the sith the scene where anakin is outraged he can't be a jedi master wouldn't fit in with ahsoka being banished and darth maul should have stayed dead to me when obi wan killed him in the phantom menace. just my opinion like i don't think the council would banish ahsoka.

You know I was thinking about this idea of writing a Star Wars novel that centered around Ahsoka Tano, and the new path she went on at the end of The Clone Wars and ultimately how she ended up helping out the crew Ghost on Star Wars Rebels. It is something I am really considering to write, but my hands are a little focused on my own original novel Zero. Hmm who knows, I'll wait for Season 2 to end first to see what exactly happens to Ahsoka's character before I start going forward with the project.
