Honest story:
My girlfriend spoiled me for the ending of the anime around December. I was like "Haikyuu...Yeah, my first anime after Naruto." So I watched it slowly but so much fun. Then, when I got back on my groove so to say, I continue to watch and I was thinking, "Crap, they got to win. Anime is almost over. They probably win and save the big one in the next season." So when they lost, I was awed. In fact, 24 was my favorite episode because of reactions, something that many sports with passion would feel after coming from a game of their life. So, I actually forgot that my girlfriend spoiled me, because I was like cheering for them. When I was moved, I know this series is just that good. Now, I'm ready for the manga. And you bet that I would watch the next season.
I'm glad you forgot the ending XD
I really, really, really, like this manga. I personally believe that Haikyuu! is one of those mangas that truly benefits from an anime. It's a sports manga after all, and movements, techniques, tension become evermore real with some actual animation.
Needless to say that all the characters in this manga are likable. I don't hate anyone on the team (I'm simply not a big fan of Tsukishima although I've been warming up to him lately).
You need to catch up! It's getting sooooooooooooooooooooo good right now. Will you include Haikyu! into your weekly videos?
