idk what happen with this fight but boring me like s**

i skimmed this chapter, probably skipped 2 or 3 pages.

Honestly, this fight isn't really exciting to me. I'm really only looking forward to what Naruto can pull out, Sasuke is just a Madara clone that isn't as good. I really haven't been interested in the fights since Obito was the Jinchuriki, he had more depth than Madara, Kaguya, and definitely Sasuke, plus he was the original Jinchuriki, so everything he did was new.

I have to say I enjoyed this chapter, but then again, ugh, my SasuNaru-feels. I think the "Best Friend" is in the aspect that Naruto has a lot of friends, and they're good friends, but Sasuke is his best friend. After how much he obsessed over finding him, then rescuing him, then finding him again, then trying to save him, etc. i don't think it was meant as any disrespect to his friendship with people like Gaara, Shikamaru or Sakura.

What concerns me is the whole, "Only four chapters left"

I think one or two more of these chapters are going to be used for the fight.

Obviously Sasuke is going to cooperate with Naruto to free everyone from the genjutsu. So when they come back from their fight, I think one of two things is going to happen.

 Sakura (who I believe will be awake by this time) will either feel cautious about seeing Sasuke. Maybe think the worst had happened to Naruto, but then she or Kakashi points him out (or she'll see Naruto first, and then spot Sasuke)

1. She'll be relieved, maybe do a mental thank you to Naruto and a flashback of Team 7. Hopefully at this moment, Kishi could make her actually make up her mind about the Sasuke/Naruto situation. Maybe a repeat of what she thought during the POAL of how Naruto was the one who understood her, etc.

2. She'll get up and hug both of them, and just think about how maybe there's hope for Team 7 to laugh together again.

Just because Kishimoto has been showing random explanations of things that happened earlier int he manga, I guess the whole "tying up loose ends", I think he's going to rush the remaining chapters to do that. Or it'll be covered in the movie. I hope...we don't have to wait till the movie.

In regards to romance...Idk, I've given up on anything flashy.

Do you think this was it? I mean it's already end like part 1. Or will it last a little longer. I mean we've all been waiting for this for years right. Well that was suppose to be te epic final fight?

 

Idm Naruto and Sasuke Bromance. My only best friend doesn't mean he has no other friend. He has friend like Shikamaru, Gaara and Sakura . Sasuke was his 1st friend,rival and goal. If Sasuke remain in the village, Naruto would hang out with him more than with Shikamaru or Gaara. Sakura well, she's like her best friend but he see her in another light cough...girlfriend....cough.You can have 20 friend and only 1 best friend. That doesn't mean you don't value your other friendship.

 

Nothing against the bromance, but since I don't have extent chapter. please tell me thefih will go on and with no need of flashback:P. What I see was cool, but I want AWESOME. Not over already.

I agree. I think it would have been much more exciting if both were out of their chakra from the powerful villains and just fought with simple skills. Taijutsu, some weapons ad some ninja tricks.

I like the chapter but I facepalm when I saw the flashbacks I yelled "here we go again okay Kishi we get it they were alone until they found each other geez" bromance level is over 9000.

I didn't mind the chapter, it's just the actual fight that I'm kinda "meh" about.

I agree. I think it would have been much more exciting if both were out of their chakra from the powerful villains and just fought with simple skills. Taijutsu, some weapons ad some ninja tricks.

I just wanna see new stuff. All of Sasuke's stuff is old. Naruto's is fresh. I wanna see him pull out Ashura 3 headed doom monster and hopefully the FTG. But other than that, the fight is just kinda ok. He'll it might already be over, they just did that clash they always do and they're in their mind place, next chapter might just be TNJ.

How can you do anything but skim this chapter? Not a single word is spoken until two thirds of the chapter through, I think only three pages had spoken words in it, a few had recaps and thoughts, and the rest fighting panels. I quite literally read the whole chapter in a minute, and more half of the time was waiting for the next page to load.

when i saw the black edges on the panel that's when i began skimming because i knew kishi was going into flashback. does it bother you that i did so?

You'd think that given the few chapter that are left , Kishi would rather spend panels on something more  relevant than flashbacks . I can already see chapter 699 being 35 pages of flashbacks and 4 pages for the actual ending :)
