I rather enjoyed this chapter the whole purpose of something to leave a god who only knew full and absolute power speechless and unsure how to respond was to me a funny part because of all the stuff made in the centuries since she lived, naruto just had to create a pointless technique that made it so he could get a quick hit in her and try to seal her with Sasuke, and it almost worked.
As others are tired and consider it pointless, well it's only been 3 chapters still the fight is still early, it may go until 20 chapters later or what not. The whole deal though is it's changing with the separation and dimension shifting.
Obito will play some role given his recovery and well as I said many times, sakura and Kakashi are around for reasons other than just watching the fight when they could have just been thrown into the genjutsu. I mean what will sakura heal obito a bit or something? Kakashi come up with a plan? Who knows, but there is something for them to do, indirectly or support wise.
Plus I don't consider the manga a total loss as others feel, I say it still has most if it's stuff intact, I mean again on last week, all the stuff that already existed from what black zetsu said still occurred as it did, he just kept at it until it came to Madara but even then the other stuff still hit snags and delays and unexpected alterations to the plans came, but it still rode everything with conflicting and opposing ideologies and clans.
Also I still find it funny how people will just say, it's a SS moment because she asked about Sasuke, well it's again funny how people think that she only cares for him when just a couple chapters ago she was sad after a few events in which he called her useless and the same fans forget he openly admitted to not purposely saving her and choosing to let her fall in the lava. She only asked because well yeah she still cares for him as a friend and comrade but only asked about his status to naruto because she couldn't see how he was doing, she knows naruto is fine because if the clone and the relying stuff he can do with it. I mean again, Sakura's most recent role to some was just being under emotional pressure from Sasuke and some people didn't think this was perhaps part of her moving on from Sasuke or setting something in her for the future?
Again it's slow for now, it's just the start of volume 71, only the 3rd chapter of the volume. I mean a lot has already happened this year with the recovery event, to guy going 8 gates, to the infinite genjutsu, and now to kaguyas revival and time in the fight. The year is almost half over too. But it's still an early part of one thing to another.
I didn't exactly like the new powers naruto pulled out like flying out of nothing or anything Sasuke does at this point and knowing him, he will get some asspull ability but they are fighting someone who breaks the rules themselves so I really wouldn't be complaining at this point, it's like when sakura attempted to strike Madara, not a fair comparison because how many rules did Madara break? Sussano with no eyes? Madara was just super powered, you knew sakura wouldn't have the best effect but to block it with one shadow was just the deal. In the case with kagyua well it's that she is the strongest and naruto and Sasuke only have the power together to be capable of beating her, but as this is a shouen the battle having them split up makes it so they will be pushed back a bit more before their counter to fully defeat her. Kagyua is just a rule breaker, no point in saying how she does stuff when we already saw all the stuff Madara break. I mean dimensional shifting, that's the high point so far, if she really has god like powers the. Being how gods are imagined as capable of ding anything than this is just in model to that but with it's own limits. So while some are tired of what Kishi is doing, well i still say he has been mostly consistent in his stuff, but at times when it comes to fights, some of his previously mentioned mechanics just get bypassed for one being stronger or it being special because of the need to move the plot. No characters are rendered useless either, all have their role even when their abilities are not capable for the present situation.
Some people are disappointed, others are satisfied, I'm still content with the story because everything else has still mainly come to this. I'm not trying to change peoples opinions but if they are this disappointed by now, it's not going to get much better expect maybe in the final naruto vs Sasuke fight. In my view, I'm content with the story, I'd give it B grade at this rate but I'm still watching it for reasons like I want to see how it ends how the stuff is resolved, how the fight is done, how the war ends, narusakus outcome, and that, but it was never said to be perfect or expected to have such a huge climax. Some peole gave up on the story when Sasuke went to side with the shinobi allaince, others gave up when Madara died, he'll some fans ended it when they saw the CPR from sakura to Naruto.but I'd really just stick with it again for the reasons I said I do, for anyone else disappointed by now, it's not going to get much better unless a huge chapter that sets up a lot of stuff occurs or we get some high point chapters that makes people happy, chapters like 631 that set up a lot of stuff like team 7 reuniting, the Kages coming to help, and the fight against obito as the jubbi jinchurki about to begin back then, but for anything else I mean it's not like a super chapter comes out every week, but if you keep reading and acting disappointed, well, that's the view you chose then, only seeing the negative out of it, lower expectations lower satisfaction, but that's how all different fans respond, as some still think the story is perfect, others have lower expectations and less satisfaction with the story, I still see the story as mostly positive but still get upset at a few things but otherwise kagyua is well a god, she does godlike things, it's like the ultimate hack, what use is there arguing against the prime power? I mean naruto and Sasuke are facing the thing to beat her, but otherwise that's the story, usually the villians are stronger than the heroes, to face a god you need god like abilities or Demi god at least. Otherwise something capable of at least stopping the villian, it's like in other media, sometimes only a specific power or weapon will be the key to beating a villian like the master sword in the many zelda games against Ganon or just something with absurd power to overwhelm the enemy like the spirit bomb from DBZ it's been done because generally it's otherwise the answer in some part as well. No writers are perfect but everyone is entitled to their opinion, some still love the series to death, others have fallen from it. Some people can be disappointed as they are but if that's their view right now, it's not likely to change at this rate since this is where the story went. As I said, I myself am content with the story but still feel it's been shaken a lot at some points but still it's been consistent in most aspects and that there is still more good gained out if the story than shortcomings as others say, there are some things I don't like, but still see more stuff enjoyable about the series rather than downsides, even the. If the current situation makes some writing flexibility seem crammed, Kishi is at least unveiling his intents week by week so whatever his plan, it's still being done so we are still seeing where he goes, and I personally feel he is at least giving it more effort than Oda right now in one piece going dead slow in his story and kubo with bleach in its end, well rather he is going somewhere too but kubo has been the one with the series he made the plot jump around more than sasukes turn face heels. But yeah I still say what's occurred even at this point in the story, there's still more good than upsets in the story and still it's been mostly consistent.
