So what do you guys think the chances are that Sakura is going to have to sacrifice herself for Naruto in the upcoming chapters?

 

Especcially with the "i can only do small things for him"

@Nostradamus: Yeah I think, like you, that it's a possibility that Kyuubi chakra could still be in the pot and jar/gourd because it would be sooo convenient for Kishi.

But it's a big plot hole IMO.

 

Also, I have also the feeling since some chapters that Kishi is bringing back the pieces of Kurama all together.

But I also think it could be a possibility that the Kin/Gin brothers might not have Kyuubi chakra anymore.

There is still other options to save Naruto.

And I think the chakra Kin/Gin had is not enough also. It could help to gain some time though.

 

Even if there is no Kyuubi chakra in there, that would not mean that the pot and the jar/gourd would be of no use.

They could be use to beat Madara.

 

We'll see what happen... I'm kind of lost with this chapter it's becoming hard to guess.

Slim for now, but I can start seeing growing fear of Naruto going to die since Kuruma was just taken away and maybe Sakura starts feeling Naruto losing strength to manage to stay alive. In short, time is running out.

You guys do realize that Kin/Gin were edo tensei, and that technique was released quite a while ago right? Technically, all that should remain in those ninja tools is the Kyuubi's chakra - AND THAT'S ONLY IF it wasn't used up by juubito/Naruto reabsorbing it when he took them out of Obito.

 

So unless its impossible to release the edo tensei on edo tensei that are sealed in the tools, the possibility that Kin/Gin are still in there are pretty slim. 

 

I'd say we have two major possibilities:

 

1. All that's left in the tools are the kyuubi's chakra (the brothers edo tensei was removed so they're no longer in the gourd) - plus it'd be a bit too much to deal with if they were in there. It'd be two more people to fight along with Madara and BZ, once Kin/Gin were out of the gourd.

 

2. The tools are empty since not only was the edo tensei released, but the little 9 tails chakra in the gourd was either used up, or just reabsorbed by Naruto he took the Bijuu's out of Obito.

 

I'd prefer the first option since that would make it so Naruto would not have to die, but Naruto dieing and being brought back another way is completely possible in the case of option 2.

@Otaru It's true that the chakra the Gold and Silver brothers have is not much but it could be enough to save Naruto then Naruto can use the tug of war to get the another side of Kurama from Zetsu. If Obito doesn't gain control of his body and do what I said earlier.

And about plot holes this story has a lot of them and a lot of retcons. In a way it's understandable I mean Kishi is been writing this story since 1999 and of course there are going to been some inconsistencies. But the truth is this story has to many "inconsistencies". Oh well.

I don't think the foot belongs to Kabuto. If it is he must have found his place in this world, I always imagined that would be a good thing. Or maybe he found out that his true purpose was to be the great evil.. Karin's comment just really threw me off, it confused me and I'm sure that was intentional. x)

I don't see anything else happening, but I'm not Kishi. He must have something up his sleeve that none of us have thought of. I'm just wondering how long Sakura can keep Naruto alive like this. Hope it won't drag on..

I wouldn't mind if Sakura is his main savior or that she sacrifices something, as long as it's not her life. I don't think she'll die.

You're right !!!! Not only the chakra whould have been sucked up by Obito, but they should not be in there anymore because they were edo tensei !

I guess more people were interested in last weeks chapter do to the suspense of having the week off... Not nearly as much fly by in this thread XD That's okay though, needed a break from high tension anyway, looks like next weeks could be full of it. Also, this chapter should have permanently ended (what made little to begin with) the thought that Sakura will now go heal Sasuke :|

Well then, I have no idea how Naruto will be saved tbh, unless Sakura uses Chiyo's technique (and remember, as long as Naruto isn't dead, she won't be killed, either - just severely weakened). I think it's pretty unlikely, though.

And like Master_Naruto said, they were Edo tensei, so they should not even be in those tools.

The more I think about it, the more I see the tools could only be empty...

The chance that Sakura is the main person rescuing Naruto did increase a lot after this chapter. Either by Chiyo's technique, or an ability or technique from her seal, etc... It can be done with some explanation, as usual.

 

For me, it was 55-60%, but now it's 70%. Though, I still think that Minato would be the main person rescuing him after what he said to Kushina that he will protect Naruto no matter what. He won't leave without at least succeeding in something that he would wanted to do for Kushina and Naruto. But, I think Sakura may very well help him with sealing Dark Kurama or both Kurama back to Naruto, especially after the plans have changed and things got harder.

 

Also maybe, if by in any way, she would manage to leave Naruto's heart and from being by his side cause she had to fight or defend Naruto from the enemies if she had to.

I think if nothing was in these tools then Kishi wouldn't have brought them back... Unless it's for comic relief that they try to use them, but reveals nothing in them

That sounds very right!  If Kin and Gin disappeared when the Edo Tensei was released, then only Samui and her brother Atsui should be in there along with the Kyuubi chakra (if it wasn't absorbed by Obito).  That would not only save Naruto, it would also add two more fighters against Zetsu and Madara.

 

But how will Minato know, if the Kyuubi chakra is still in there?  Does he still have the ability to sense chakra without Dark Kyuubi?

The tools aren't without a purpose even if they are not use for Naruto's sake.

They could be used to stop Madara.

The most likely person to know Chyio's jutsu is Kakashi in my opinion and  if any1 will sacrifice himself to save Naruto , that will most likely be Kakashi . Sakura can not know Chyio's jutsu , she had no way of learning it . Plus that if she would somehow have learnt it and would try to use , I doubt Kakashi will let it happen . Hasn't he always promised that he does not let his comrades die ?

 

For Sakura , if she is to sacrifice herself , she is more likely to take a hit instead of Naruto , the same way she did for Chyio . And that will probably happen during Naruto vs Sasuke fight ( if even that will ever happen , no idea anymore )
