i think sasuke wont die this will lead to a u know odd situation for ns and i also think that sasuke getting injured badly near death that ll also lead to a bad situation for sakura . Though he can be healed by karin or some one was just saying here that sasuke can heal himself by izangi!!is that true???
So where was i ahh yes . So i think its best for ns that sasuke doesnot dies here . And besisds hashirama gave him some jutsu so i think it might also be part of hashiramas plan.
Now as for narusaku its a bright and good moment. Think about sakura thinking naruto is gone , she holds his hand and cries. She finally could feel her true feelings for naruto and then minato comes there asks her for help to restore dark kurama inside naruto sakura givs her life support and then he opens his eyes and sakura hugs him and says dont ever leave her like that again confesseses that she loves him from her heart.

Or i am just overthinking it .no matter what ever happens we will get a ns moment i am 101% sure. Not more.

Yes i do see Sakura sobbing all over Naruto and hugging him holding him tightly and what not and then she realizes her true feelings for him how much he means to her how much she loves him and  yes i see Sakura doing all of that except for the confession part cus i think that part will happen just before Naruto goes to fight Sasuke  but yes i'm right there with you on this one 

As for the Sasuke thing i really don't see any SS moment whatsoever after all there is a reason way Karin is there and way she hasn't done anything since the moment she step foot on the battlefield its obvious Kishi is saving her for something and i think we all know what that is the only thing i see for SS is their resolution nothing more . About Izanagi it doesn't heal you it just returns you in the state you were before you got injured and besides he just got some powers from Hashi so i doubt that he's gonna die .

 

I brought this up in the podcast, but I will bring it up here.

Anyone think that maybe Obito was Madara's son? I know it seems like a stretch to the imagination, but Madara keep saying "even if my own son..." I don't know why but it feels like he is setting up to show Obito is his son.

Since we don;t know who Obito's parents are, and they were never revealed, it is quite possible.

I actually think that he's Kagami's son and Shisui's brother since they both have only one hax MS jutsu Kotoamatsukami and Kamui plus they kinda look alike .

I enjoyed this chapter. Naruto doesn't look to be in very good shape at all- we're left to continue pondering where Gaara is escorting him to.
 
I was actually interested in Sasuke's role, for many of the reasons tricksie pointed out in her post. His condescending and aloof behavior towards Hashirama, as well as his only concern being his own selfish objectives really gives more insight as to how cold he is as a villain. To me, it makes sense that he would go after Madara for these reasons, as well as them being paralleled. Someone must also stand against Madara while Naruto gets help.

But the thing is what can Hinata do right now to help Naruto gentle fist him i don't think so Hinata's a done deal at least from my side. Besides if Kishi makes Sakura leave Naruto now and go after Sasuke it would ruin her character and her relationship with Naruto not to mention the hate she would get for that from her haters and the rest of the fans plus that's not who Sakura is when it comes to Naruto not anymore furthermore NS is a done deal for me i thought it was  obvious since 631 it just how it happens now is what's concerning me that's all. As for the NS part yep all we can do is hope for now .

Interesting that Jiraiya's novel has a scenario where the Sakura of the situation has to choose whether to go back to the person she used love and the person who have been slowly growing into her heart.

Guess who She choses.


I would prefer a different scenario to be honest ,hope they are not going to use this again.

There are actually strong hints that some kind of incest goes on in the Uchiha camp to keep the bloodline pure. From what I could piece together, even the Uzumaki's did it for a time, but then imbred with the Senju clan which was a melting pot of different cultures.

The way I read it, Hashirama is the one who originally said, "Be it a friend, brother or even my child... betrayal of the village cannot and will not be tolerated."

 

Then Sasuke shows up....

 

 

Madara begins to repeat what Hashirama had said, almost as if he's mocking him, as he intends to kill Sasuke.

 

Tobirama pleads with Madara not to do it, but his choice of words is not clear to me.  "This would just----"  Killing Sasuke would just... what?  It's almost as if Tobirama is implying that Sasuke's death will bring about something else -- something more than just the usual cycle of hatred / man is a pathetic contradiction stuff.  Yes?  No?

 

I can't see how it has anything at all to do with Madara perhaps being someone's father, or grandfather, or whatever.  I took it that he was simply mocking Hashirama's commitment to sacrifice someone (theoretically) meaningful for "the greater good."  Even if he's the last Uchiha of the modern generation.

 

Like I said, I don't get Madara's motivation for a lot of what he does.  Why kill Sasuke instead of just neutralizing him and then subjecting him to the Infinite Tsukiyomi like everyone else?

A couple things.

1.) Karin is on cooldown right now about 2 times over. If she gets bitten again I think she'll turn into a husk.

 

2.) This is pretty much perfect setup for Sakura. Literally perfect but we didn't get any panels of her this chapter which leads me to believe that Kishi either forgot about her or wants to make her appearance a surprise for some reason. (Both are plausible. In fact I don't even think we've seen her since Tsunade came back.)

 

3.) I agree with the camp that says she's going to have to choose. In fact, I'm hoping Gaara is NOT bringing Naruto to her and she does it of her own volition because I want her to have to make a damn decision about what she wants.

 

4.) Juugo's been on standby for like 10 chapters just breathing over Sasuke's shoulder. He'll go save him or Sasuke will get LolRinnegan from Hashirama etcetc kitten this manga. <3

 

5.) I'm getting a feeling there's some sort of Itachi/Sasuke - Madara/Izuna parallel being set up too. Itachi said he thought Madara took Izuna's eyes by force I think Smiter's right and Madara will just try to farm his eyes. Hm. I wonder what Sakura would do with Naruto dying and Sasuke getting his eyes plucked out?

 

6.) If Hashi actually gave Sasuke some regenerative jutsu I might quit manga. Yeah. Let's give Sasuke a free Sakura-like power-up instead of letting Sakura be useful.

I thought about it as " This would just do nothing good ". Simple as that.

 

The last panel of Madara saying " I gave you more than ample time to do something " is like Madara's expecting Sasuke to do something for Madara's own benefit. Something planned between Sasuke and Madara, or what I think of something expected from Sasuke cause he's an Uchiha. To attack his comrades because of something specific or to upgrade the level of his eyes.

 

Possibly there's something, or else why would Madara say that.

Not as great a chapter as I'd thought it'd be, but it was okay. No Sakura this chapter but I'm actually not that surprised. I figured Kishi was going to drag out Naruto's "death" for a little bit along with the multiple conflicts going on right now so it's probably going to take a few chapters to find out what'll happen to Naruto.

 

As for me, I'm predicting Gaara will take Naruto to the medical unit right away. Once he gets there, Sakura's going to freak out realizing what happened to Naruto and immediately try to heal him despite knowing it won't work (Tailed Beast removal after all). Tsunade's probably going to help of course. As for what will happen to Naruto, there are three options:

 

1). Naruto's going to wake up and force himself to fight despite being without the Tailed Beast when nothing's working for him. Very likely, giving his Uzumaki heritage and determination. However, this won't last too long because Naruto is going to collapse sometime soon. He wouldn't be able to keep that up.

 

2). Sakura could save Naruto by using Chiyo's move, flowing some of her life chakra into him to keep him alive. Sakura would still be alive as long as Naruto's conscious, though she'd be very weakened. This scenario is possible, but unlikely. Sakura never gave any sign of figuring out how to use Chiyo's jutsu.

 

3).  Naruto is as good  as dead and nothing can help except Minato giving him the other half of Dark Kurama  to temporarily sustain him until he gets his own Tailed Beast back. Consequence to that is Minato disappears in the process. Most likely option in my opinion.

 

My prediction is a combination of 2 and 3. Gaara will take Naruto to Sakura and Tsunade, Sakura they'll desperately try to heal him, and when it doesn't work everyone will think Naruto's dead. We'll get a gigantic NaruSaku moment from Sakura's side and she'll finally realize her true feelings for him, but in the end Naruto will be saved by Minato's sacrifice.

 

As for Sasuke vs. Madara/fear of SS moments, everyone just relax. In my opinion that's overreacting. Yes, it's annoying Sasuke continually gets power-ups but that doesn't make him the hero. He's not going to finish Madara off alone, he'll need help from Naruto once he gets back up again. Also, Sasuke's probably not dead or injured yet. I'm betting anything Sasuke just used a genjutsu or Hashirama's new jutsu for him. It'd be kind of underwhelming if he was injured that quickly, especially considering all the emphasis Hashirama used on this new power-up. That means no SS near-death moment and no Sakura "who will I heal first" moment. Seriously, that's going a bit too far, don't you think? 

 

And Sasuke not displaying any reaction to Naruto Tailed Beast getting removed, I don't think Sasuke saw it and if he did, doesn't know the consequences of losing a Tailed Beast. No matter how much bad blood he has between him and Naruto, we'd at least get a panel reaction. 'Cause, seriously, it'd be stupid not too when Naruto is the only person besides Itachi he has some care for left.

Hey guys am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of Sakura having to "choose" who to heal? I really think it's...out of character for her to think that, in the middle of battle, who to heal first? And I don't think she'd have much choice, really. I would really hate it if there was a whole "choosing" thing. But, at least I'm sure that Sasuke was just handed the power to heal himself by Hashirama, so he is covered...and I'm sure Orochimaru won't let anything happen to his precious Sasuke.

Been wondering where Gaara is taking Naruto, my first thought is Minato, because he had the other Kurama, but isn't he a bit busy? Also, Minato wouldn't be my first choice, nothing pairing related, I just want to see a Naruto WITHOUT Kurama inside of him. Not sure if Gaara will take him to the medics either. I want to know what Kurama said to him. And what the hell Sai?

I agree. That whole thought of having to "choose" who to save just seems out of character to me, period. Especially in the middle of battle... I think she's already chosen Naruto, honestly. No matter what. Besides, he's the Child of the Prophecy, the 'Saviour of this World.' He's top priority. So yeah.

AND... she mass healed the Alliance several chapters ago. She can heal both of them at the same time. There's no need to choose.

Yeah, I was a little confused, too. I think what T XD said, though, about Tobirama's words, is right.

 

And Madara... Yeah, I don't really get the motivation. It just seems like he's doing all of this for the hell of it, really. lmao. Or just cause he's mad (at Hashirama, Tobirama...).

On a more practical terms look at the history of the two clans.

First lets remember that it is actually okay for cousins to get married and have a family together in Japan. Sometimes it is preferred given the choice of the family. Look at shows like Kaze No Stigma where one major plot point is to get Kazuma and Ayano together who are basically cousins in the Kagami family.

So going back to Naruto, what do we know about the Uchiha?

They all have the same powers with very few individual traits like what the design of the Mangekyo Sharingan style and what power you can have with. However, they all have a Sharingan and they all call it Uchiha property. Now you might say "So? That doesn't mean they can't marry outside." It does if you don't want a "half-breed" to gain such a power or if half-breeds can even get it at all.

So they are very prideful of their abilities and feel the sharingan only belongs to them. So why share it with anyone else? Even Sasuke says this a few times as does Madara and Obito.

You then have the fact that all Uchiha basically have the same traits too: Black Hair, Black Eyes. There is no blonde hair Uchiha or red hair Uchiha at all. They were also a very close-nit clan that had a whole section of the village to themselves. Practically cut off from the main town. This leads to believe that they were their own separate state and that they were pretty much isolated.

This is evident that the Uchiha clan existed for a long time even after the Uzumaki kind of "disappeared."
 

The same could be said the Hyuuga's who, like the Uchiha, was also a very close-nit clan and they all practically looked the same.

We go to the Uzumaki's and we see that they had a clan too and their own village, but they are no longer was around for what seemed like a long time. Evident by the temples they left. We know Hashirama had an Uzumaki wife, while he wasn't Uzumaki, and we have a Minato have an Uzumaki wife, who was he himself was not an Uzumaki.

Naruto is proof that the Uzumaki was a clan that wasn't a destroyed, but rather mixed into the melting pot culture of the Senju. Unlike the Uchiha and Hyuuga who, while still part of the Hidden Leaf, still remained their own separate entity to this day.

What happens to a culture that choose to mix with other cultures? It eventually dies out and blends into everything else. Not gone, just watered down.

I'm wondering if Madara stabbed Sasuke on a whim or is there a purpose to it.

 

Anyway the stage is setup for other characters to take centre stage ( another Kage rematch with Madara?) because I don't really Naruto recovering to soon even for him.
