Just who is a shortcut? and just who is the unsure "dangerous" path?

who says its impossible?

 

Who was it again who supported Naruto to become Hokage since before they have seen his real potential?

the one who reprimands him but still continuously support him..? the one who actually DID something to help him (or more like "does" bec. she still is helping him)

 

Let's go back to the very start...

 

is it the one who is about to raise her hand to not see Naruto's dream get crushed, even if it means to fail an exam...including the boy she actually likes

 

 

or someone who will easily give it to him and make him cheat?? and have it the easy way

I really liked this chapter. The Obito/Rin scenes were very sweet, and made me feel even worse about her death, especially since she looked so much like Sakura, just remove the marks on her face and mess her hair a bit... it is quite clear Kishimoto very intentionally based her look on Sakura's. There were a lot of subtle hinting at Sakura/Rin here, but nothing to outright confirm a parallel and that is how I would prefer it to stay. I know HN is going to use Rin holding Obito's hand as confirmation of the pairing, but eh, to me it feels like reaching too deeply for something to grasp onto. I like that Rin is show to be a bit tougher than I think many originally thought her to be, and it reminded me very much of the way Sakura acts with Naruto throughout part 2.

 

I was kind of surprised that Naruto said Obito never knew his parents, just like him, as it was never shown,  I guess it makes sense but I wish it was something we were informed of earlier. And I just loved Naruto in this chapter, this is what I feel like I've been missing with his character in this war arc. Overall, I felt this TNJ was pretty well executed, though I do want Obito to face realistic consequences for the things he's done. Hopefully that isn't too much to ask for.

Honestly, Hinata does not fit in this equation at all. I do not know where Hinata came from but this is mostly about Team Minato and Team 7. Hinata has no place in this. Just because Rin is kind and caring that means its parallel  to Hinata? I could say Ino is parallel to Rin or I can say Moegi is parallel to Rin because they  all are kind and caring. The person that fits the bill is Sakura and no one else. Obviously Sakura and Rin are not going to be mirrors of each other but they do have the MAIN things in common. So lets stop talk about Hinata.

Everything is repeating itself, everything is cross-over. It's like an echo that's flowing around.

That vibe could not possibly or plausibly be NaruHina.

Nope, tossing that word around its become a great annoyance if you ask me. Some even don't understand what it literally means or who should be ''dressed'' with it. There are a lot of double standards behind that ''mild' statement ,but folks get pissed easily and when gripped by emotions, logic is a word that becomes irrelevant.

I guess so. But it just shows that claiming NH will be canon because they held hands is a pretty futile argument, if NS and SS had their own handholds. It doesn't really seem like much of an advantage then.

NH has argued in the past that we can't compare their handhold with this, and that is true. I don't think this pic is meant to be taken seriously, Slex doesn't argue like that. Now I've seen anon hate on NS-tumblrs that claim this OR handhold is a parallel to NH's, so I'm not making this up or anything. The OR handhold is not much more meaningful than this picture, so wouldn't that be hypocritical? Not to mention...OR was apparently platonic, but now it's not because it parallels NH. Just..make up your mind..fandom.

 

I think these moments are three different scenarios which are incomparable, but this Team 7 moment resembles the OR handholding more than the NH one does(poses, movement, context and such). The NH handhold was supposed to represent the power of unity, I don't think it was just for "chakra transfer". I like that it has a symbolic meaning.

Okay here is something to look out for, as dumb as this sounds:

The rinnegan may be forming in naruto.

Some people have put forward a speculation on his eye in one panel in which a ring appears between his rentia and cornera.

Remember, the style of eyes in the series? Naruto, sakura, tenten, and tsunade are the only ones with a notable same style, just different color corneas. Narutos being blue, Sakura's green, tenten brown, and tsunades are yellow for some reason. All other characters tend to have just simple black eyes or a special type being an ocular trait, unique like inos, or the strange style the lee has.

I know this sounds strange but that ring could be the first of the rinnegan. If it's really the case, I hope it's just temporary, I cannot see naruto with the rinnegan fully not to mention how one sided and op he would be against Sasuke.

I actually think it is just nullified. Seeing how everyone has held Naruto's hand somewhere along the storyline, I kind of think that it is no longer a means to prove relationship status

Next week Obito will most probably hold naruto's hand.... ObiNaru canon?
