Do the majority online don't like the "nakama power" thing? I actually liked it. If people were expecting something more realistic, they obviously forgotten what genre this manga is. Not that I don't understand the concerns, but still.
There is always a counterargument to everything. I can see the counterargument being, "well at least, unlike Sakura, Hinata was apart of the attack", and actually believe that matters.
I think I finally realized what people really wanted. The funny thing is that long time ago, I could have sworn that people want others to do stuff, but now, I realized it's more like others should step back and stop taking the time away. I don't know which one is it.
I couldn't care less of a counterargument, so long the message was done here.
But when Sakura's attack comes, she won't be one part of it, she'll be the whole part.
She's a main character, so I wouldn't hold it against Hinata in any way. But the argument is still lost.
And are people really giving the creds to the rookies? Naruto should get all of it, it did not display their skill in anyway because the efforts were pretty much one-sided.
I don't hate the scene, but I think that if Kishi wanted to highlight the power of friendship he could've just let the rookies say something(maybe they coud've replace Kakashi's inner speech?), because they simply acted as Naruto's puppets. I still like the symbolic meaning though; Naruto has all his friends with him and that's why he's the winner. Obito is running solo, he lost because he shut everyone out. Looking back at Itachi's words, I think there is a connection and this is what he meant..
Actually, your post made me see differently on you guys' perspectives. That is true that these rookies came in and just did a push, but not really do anything with their own power. I guess I can see why.
You know, that is the reason why I didn't get the greatness of it. These characters were there to do a push and that's it. No Majin Buu final moment, with everyone telling Goku to end this now, no real end, or at least I hoping not. Well, there is Madara, so not all hope is lost for now. I guess that's why I hope this is not the end, which is not in terms of war, but Obito is unknown for time being. I mean the symbolic meaning was addressed nicely, so that's good. I just want the final attack to be, "It all ends NOW!!!" but again, we do have Madara, so yeah. I guess that's why I always appreciated One Piece to make the end of one long battle feels heavily meaningful. Then again, Naruto (series) meaningful lies on one last talk, not one last attack, but we'll see.
Chapter was ok, I'm really glad Sakura was still healing along side with Tsunade instead of rasenganing Obito just like the rest of the K9.
On a side because seeing all of them gaining the cloak and all made me laugh; on the other side because it was shown that her importance is far different from theirs, as healer/medic and as more than a comrade/friend to Naruto.
Haters can b*tch as much as they want, but they have to start to accept that she has a different role in the war and in Naruto's life aswell, and I'm sure Kishimoto is going to prove that soon, perhaps next week.
Today's chapter made me really positive of this thought, even though I'm sure this is not going to be The end of Obito yet. Since the chapter was friendship centred, I liked how Obito imagined a scenario where he would accept Rin's sacrifice and death with the help and support of his friends. He would still persue his dream of becoming Hokage no matter what. Maybe next week we will see the scenario he imagined in his dreamworld, were Rin is alive, hopefully.
Now that I think about it, has Obito ever noticed Sakura before? I always wondered why when the K9 joined the battle she has always been portrayed in the background, sorta like "hidden" from the scene for a while. Other characters shined when Obito was present on the battlefield, but right after him and Kakashi leave the scene, Sakura emerges and takes the spotlight. She even releases the seal and works along side Naruto and Sasuke, which would have catch Obito's attention if he only was present. Right after he comes back, she is already on another side of the battlefield away from her teammates. This chapter also suggests this theory.
There must be a reason why Kishimoto is doing this. I really hope it will be explained in the following chapters.
This. I made a joke post on that situation. Here:
You know, it's rather odd that everytime Sakura does something, Obito isn't presence and when I say that, I mean someone who sticks out a lot. I mean the summoning back in 633 would have alerted Obito that she's a strong medic, so he would have reacted and possibly attack her, which well you take it off from there. I mean let's see.
Chapter 609
Naruto: Sakura-chan, Kakashi...
Sakura: I know.
Obito: Hm, I thought there was someone approaching to Naruto. Oh well, false alarm. Just some Hyuuga girl that I got no connection in my past, so moving on...
Chapter 636
Obito: Oh, Naruto and Sasuke are trying to kill the beast. Good thing, there's no medic with them in front line, that would be awkward for me. Luckily, I came in time. Not like I miss a speech from possible lover for Naruto or anything significant. Ok, time to become an jinchuuriki.
Chapter 637
Obito: Oh hey, it's Minato-sensei. I'll be damned. Wow, what's next, Naruto got a lover that is similar to mine? Haha.....that would drive me insane...
Chapter 650
Obito: I should go attack mode. I'm sure there's no same age best friend of Naruto who is a medic that will help all of these fools. Because once I go to attack mode, I won't focus on anything else and just focus on Naruto and that traitor Sasuke.
I really wonder if it's coincidence. We'll see.
They definitely hated it. Only a few people or fans of the K11 minus Sakura liked it. But majority hated it. I'm indifferent towards it. I don't like that Naruto can easily give his power out like that... It seems cheesy to me, I believe it could have been executed better but I'm glad that we are finally getting somewhere. On a sidenote: Does anyone else think that Naruto giving out his chakra like that made his chakra control way better?
Bolded 2: That was another issue....They were saying Naruto(series) is becoming childish and Disney like or I should say Fairy Tail like.
Well, no one would have been dead if going by Fairy Tail. Lol. I'm kidding, but not really. Seriously, well this is the first time that this series tackles on the friendship, rather than a constant theme throughout the series, so it feels odd to many today. I don't blame them. At the very least, it's not done in a way where it just happens because it just did. Naruto at least give an explanation or a tool that makes the scene work, whether it's dumb or not. For whatever reason, adventure manga seems to have this problem with people just get new power out of blue or one excuse can win them all. I'm still bothered by One Piece Enies Lobby arc. It was all around great but the fight result begs the differ. Anyway, no more off-topic, the point is at least it has the tool to make it rather than, "Well, when can they do that?"
Will she get an attack though? I mean she is grounded in support right now. Depends on what happens next. Is Obito truly defeated? What was his attack form? The sword and shield maybe.
I don't think so, everywhere I go. People say Naruto could have done the same thing by himself. He doesn't even need clones. He launched a Rasengan through the Kurama's tail before.
You mean like Ed vs. Homuculus, with everyone cheering him on. I have to admit that I got major feels from watching that. It really set the mood. Itachi's words could be inferred, but I have a feeling we'll only get confirmation of a flashback when dealing with Sasuke, as like Obito, he too wants nothing to do with bonds and will do everything himself out of his own sense of "justice".
Well, the comments online give new meaning to the phrase "everyone's a critic". On the threads of Naruto and Bleach chapters on animesuki's forum, most of them who comment have nothing good to say. Granted, it's only like 7 or 8 total who are mostly on there, but still.
Naruto is a manga for middle school boys. We can't have too many adult things on it. Really, what are people expecting? The majority of complainers don't know what they want, just that they don't want what's actually happened. Shhhs, you just can't please some people.
Sorry, if this sounds like a rant, but I've just seen so much negativity around these subjects for long time now.
I couldn't agree more. Though to be fair with others, part of me don't want "High five! ending." I want an ending that says, "Well we won, but it's still a total lost in friends, families..." God knows how much I got those currently in recent mangas, so don't fail me, Kishi. Have a realistic moral. It's like in that movie vs. remake. One has a really happy ending, the remake has a realistic outcome that shows mixed feelings of happiness and depression.
Well Naruto at this point has one of those unpleasable fanbases now.
No question asked.
