actually how did sakura even get injured with sai fine at the side. katsuyu being such a faithful summon would have protected her like the pain arc. unless later chapters show that she is doing something heroine.. i feel so sad that she is still getting tossed around even though she shown herself to be capable... like the bridge arc.. after defeating sasori, she got knocked out so easily by kabuto/3 tailed naruto :/

Okay...now my next question to you is...how do we know that Sasuke wasn't able to decode enough messages to still be plotting something based on what's happening now? Just because you need a higher eye level doesn't mean he doesn't know enough to still plot something, right?

He seems that he knows some stuff from what he was able to read. In this chapter, before the last page, his reaction wasn't a surprise or anything. He was normal. It's like he knows some things.

People are saying that Kurama's chakra is the first to go...but no, if you noticed people are falling into exhaustion way before Kurama's chakra is deactivated. If you noticed the nin in page 3 got his sucked out before Kurama's chakra dissipated.

 

 

In other words his chakra is still keeping people alive, probably like an emergency reserve. Even though the fodder nin may have fallen...they may just be unconscious and not really dead. The tree is just taking what used to be his...or hers...I think Madara called the Juubi a she.

 

 

And yes you can only read some of the stone with the sharingan, some of it with the EMS, but the whole thing can only be read with the rinnegan.

I suppose it will depend on how 'high class' the information was, I don't think we actually know what or how much information Sasuke was able to read from the stone, besides that the sharingan can control the Kyuubi.

And, on the topic of mythology and religion, I do believe Kishi is mixing up Christianity and Japanese Mythology. I didn't know too much about Christianity, but I looked it up because the Japanese forum believe it to be that so I became intrigued ^^ the god tree..wow! Of course, I think Sakura will be connected somehow...I can sense it coming. As for Sakura in this chapter, I'm sure she's fine. It looks like everybody that still coated in Kurama chakra is fine for now.

Madara's story on the god tree is somewhat skewed, that's my feeling of it.

Exactly. I mean...that might not mean anything much, but it could. He just seems too calm, and he hasn't said anything at all either. And now that Naruto's down, this would be the perfect chance for something shocking to happen.

The guy on page three did lose Kurama's cloak. Those parallel lines you see aren't from the chakra cloak, they are representing the ninja screaming, or the movement, something like that. You can see the same lines around the first panel on page 4.

Kinda funny how last week we got the Kurama episode with the flashback to the sage of the six paths, now this chapter we see he was born with the chakra itself. Anyways yeah many sakura haters are chanting for her to die. All I can say is first off thats kinda messed up, second, its not going to happen. Sakura has Katuysu with her, who people just should remember from recently, had been struggling to heal and maintain/ reconnect Tsunade's severed body. Sakura is if anything just severly exhusted from that strike. Sakura is strill maintaining the chakra shroud as well as Sai. Obito even stopped the attack. There are so many things protecting Sakura proxmitey wise and plotwise. Promexity, she has the shroud still and Katuysu is able to heal even restore some energy if needed. Plotwise just think, who is coming? The 5 kage, their addition won't tip anything but tsunade and the rest are still active. Don't be suprised if something happens to suddenly break the tree next chapter with the kage coming back kinda like Hiruzen suprised us showing how it was if anything a delayed reaction to the reincarnation (Minato may get his other arm back). Still, Sakura just has so much left towards the other plot stuff, namely the team 7 factor, its not team 7 without Sakura as it would also be without Sasuke or Naruto. Sakura is wounded and exhuasted but not dead or dying. Whatever the case of the seal, I'd just be leaning towards the panel is too small, the proportion would not allow it because look how small Sakura's face is, trying to insert the seal in that tiny space would have it as nothing more than a small dot you could only see by straining your eyes. If anything its most likely just an error or left out because its just a small panel. I mean remember the scene of team 7 after seeing the 4 hokage contain the jubbi's tailed beast bomb? You see the backsides of Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, but the uzumaki clan symbol on the back of Naruto's jacket, Sakura's flak jacket, and the Uchiha fan symbol on the back of Sasuke's shirt, all are seen but don't have the smaller detail, mainly the swirl symbol, thats what I mean, small proportion cannot allow it unless they risked distortion of the picture. Even then Sakura would just need rest or a quick visit from Tsunade and poof, a few panels later she is back up and fine. But come on, she has the shroud and slug with her. Katsuyu was just divided up accross many miles and witnessing the most out of anyone. Would it seem funny that no animals like Katuysu were targeted for the attack? Being an animal you think its a human only factor for the god tree? If the slug can handle putting her own master back together while simulaneously healing 4 other people with her smaller parts, I think one portion of her is able to heal Sakura fine. Sakura is here to stay, she will be fine and up on her feet. I don't know why Sakura haters are hoping for a death, cause its not going to come to Sakura after all we've seen from her. She has a big plot shield, thats team 7 and naruto's goals in the end. Its just not the ending without her, even then what is the point for Sakura to die? There is none, I mean he gave Neji's death as a way to end the Hyuga sub-story opposite of when it was first introduced so like Jiraya, he sent them out with meaning, even a minor character like Konan went out with a bang (almost literally). So if he really was going to kill of Sakura, he would have done it in a bigger fashon, but its just a simple injury, he isn't killing Sakura, she is just wounded but fine, hell if you start seeing other characters like Lee or Choji suddenly die, you know what that means? A mass temporary killing and then revival via rinne tensei for them all, by a redeemed obito. Somehow there will be a redemtion ordeal in the eye of the moon plan if a new arc is really going to launch soon. Sakura can get wounded or exhausted as she is right now, even tempoerility killed (like Gaara was) but she isn't going to be removed for good, she has a lot of importance to the story, mainly team 7 and she did display a lot of growth, she isn't just going to get killed and have it all end. Her stuff with team 7 goes until Naruto and Sasuke are done and they still have a ways to go, team 7 is different, they all live. Not to mention the whole 631 and 635 stuff, can you imagine Sakura not being around for the future stuff Sasuke does? Not to mention Naruto would never be able to succeed with Sakura who he loves as he hopes to, Sakura is going to live, she is too important and theres so much more protecting her. I mean we were kept on edge for a while when we thought Tsunade would die, we had good purpose to believe that, but what about Sakura now? She is in one piece, has an excess stream of chakra still flowing in her, that may equalize what she lost and restore her to normal. Sakura has a lot of safeguards right now, current situation and plot shields, she is safe, wounded but safe. Its like Kakashi right now, he is alone stuck in that dimension but wounded, he has a future for something as well. He is protected from all hazards due to Obito. As Kakashi cannot be touched, Sakura is wounded but out of harms way. She will make it and live, she is a main character, the heroine, and no other character aside form Tsunade could actually even hope to take that mantle now, Ino and Hinata have far too little screentime to compare with Sakura, Sakura we have seen grow and change. She will get development in the end, not just axed off as haters hope. Its not team 7 without all of them, she will live. Besides this situation of her being hurt can possibly lead to a NS moment as others said. NS is still around and after the events of 631 showcasing a potential future and 635 as well, well basically you will expect Sakura to be around when Sasuke pulls his angry moves on Naruto. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke will all be alive in the end.

I just hate this kind of chapters when ends in something good then we have to wait. So Sakura seems took a hit from tree, but i think she is fine, she still has the kurama chakra.

 

Possible that Kishi will bring the  Kages and others only to delay the awaken of the juubi. Another thing is that Madara and Minato will say bye bye soon. I do not think Madara will active the plan, but the first that it has to go is Minato, Sakura unable to heal Naruto  Minato has to give his half of chakra to his son.

This was a good one we finally learn the Sage's name. So his last name wasn't Uzumaki, probably for the best if it was their might be a chance that Hyuga theory of the Sage being one as well being true as well many talk about on the Naruto base. Not that would I mind, but given how some certain fans would be like.

To be fair all characters get their epic moments along with embarrassing and stupid moments, a good example would be Naruto last chapter.

Good point. Well it was weird that he didn't want to enter the war until after the talk, but who knows. Maybe he and Orochimaru will do something. It's hard to speculate because he felt hopeless before but if the plan starts and all the sudden he's ready, it would look odd. Really hard to say, but the next chapter will be crazy. About "..." I believe he's more on Naruto about his power and status. Like for example, if I see him, I'll expect a good rebound, but instead, he has no plan. Remind of Toy Story 3 where they are about to burn, they wonder if there's a counter to it, but you get the look of "it's all over" instead. That's how I read it in this chapter.

One of the things I like about Kishimoto's writing is that he always gives named characters meaningful deaths.  Even when Kakashi died, we saw him in the border between worlds meeting his dad after a long time.  I like he doesn't just kill off characters for no reason.  As you said, Neji's death lead to plot development.  The Kurama chakra bird was certainly a nice touch.

 

I have to agree that Sakura is safe for the moment.  She can even heal herself if it comes down to it, or Tsunade will come later, and heal her.  Just don't bother with those kinds of people.  What Sakura is feeling may not even be physical, but mental trauma.  Many of the alliance died, probably with clones of Katsuya attached, and she felt it all at once.  Tsunade could tell Kakashi was dead once one of Katsuya's clones reached him.
