I agree, Kishi seems to be talking to the audience directly since 631 and it's getting creepy.....

He did the same thing with Sai on the confession though, i feel that Sai serves to the purpose and i dont feel it creepy Writers do this all the time.

Well before I go to sleep, I got to say, Kishi is really anit-SS, isn't he? My god, show mercy. Not even anime is in your level. Sai is definitely playing the emotion plot role for his team and Sakura is the victim to the lie. Well, looks like the downfall of the team has begun. I really want to know the reaction from Naruto and Kuruma with Sasuke doing it in a bad way. So renegade, Sasuke. I can see those darkness scars (Mass Effect reference).

Honestly, if absolute adherence to the most logical approach for handling this situation from the Alliance's perspective was one of Kishi's priorities then Hashirama would have already amassed an army of SM using Mokuton clones to go on the offensive, Killer Bee would be spamming Samehada whilst having it distribute chakra to everyone throughout the battlefield, the frog sages would have been summoned some time ago to be fused with Naruto so he can maintain SM indefinitely, Katsuyu would have already dissolved a large numer of the replicas with her acid, and ect. 

 

For the sake of dramatisation Kishi doesn't allow those characters to do these things.

It wanst all of sudden, last chapter there was hints that it would happen, eveyone on the last chapter knew a scene like this would happen, what was all of sudden was Minato asking Sakura if Naruto was her boyrfriend only because she was healing him.

Also Sai knew she was lying, i dont think she was trying to convince herself, like other's pointed out becasue of her previous facial expression but rather trying to convince Sai that there's nothing to worry about.

What is funny is Kishi comparing this war with the previous ones, the previous ones were worse because you had to kill real people, and on this they are killing monsters and sealing people who are already dead.

The dramatization only works if one of your comrades die but doesnt not get close to what the previous generations experienced, like Kisame having to kill his own teammates to protect a code or Kakashi having to kill his comrades.

Well this chapter was eventful:

 

Orochimaru, Sugetesu, and Karin healed Tsunade, Katsuayu was able to heal everyone even split apart to help on Sakura's end.

 

The 5 kage are back in action and ready to help, this should make things very good.

 

Naruto's plan is to apparently try and get the tailed beasts removed from the juubi, so we can see a way for it to be defeated. Sasuke just being Sasuke in rage wanted to kill it fully but obviously it did not work. I think what Sasuke's plan is now, I think its going to remake the world in his own image in a sense, so it does not happen again (accord to him)

 

Now the biggest thing of all, Sai asking how Sakura felt about Sasuke. She is sad and does not trust him. Many haters are already making a big fuss over her, but because its come up again, this may be the time things change. This leads so high speculation on Sakura, she isn't like last time. This should be a very interesting turn of events. SS may be in trouble now.

 

Other than that, we can finally get back to Kakashi and Obito next week, its been a while and everything is fine with Tsunade as Katsyau told Sakura. But kakashi and obito, just how will this turn out?

Lol at how the Juubi just took part of his skin and put it away to burn, that things malleable body.

 

 

Sasuke on the other hand wants to bekome Hokage...destroy the system, idk how you do that with just being Hokage, you have to take the fire nation's system as a whole, as well as other nations and villages...you can't just become a Kage and suddenly expect others to do what you want.

 

He wants to destroy the system and rebuild it in his image, I guess he still is a spoiled little kid.

Well if she still loves him then we clearly will expect a selfish moment but she's not acting like that, i think we cant even say if she still loves Sasuke, her feelings are hidden, kishi is delaying this more as he can and giving hints and other stuff that makes the audience wonders if she still loves him, i thought he was going to resolve the whole pairing issue on the end, but due to what he did with Nh and now doing with SS it's getting obvious looks like he got balls that he's going to do that earlier than we expected, also about Sasuke i think he doesnt have any idea of what he's doing, the only thing that i can see is he opposing Naruto on pratically everything, he wants to be hokage and now has a different way to deal with the things about the Juubi, soon he's probably going to try to take out the juubi from NAruto too.

The only way I see it is if, and only if he forms a chakra tug of war with the Juubi in order to pull out his chakra, become its jinchiruki seal it back into the moon, or create a new moon, use creation of all things to separate the chakra back into the 7 beasts.

He has their chakras so he can use the other's bijuus chakra to pull them out.
dunno what will happen next but i feel that i'm expecting that the other jinchuurikis will be revived.

And the jinchuurikis will serve as like "league of justice" or like the "avengers"

I came back just for this.

1. I called it both times. I was right about Katusya being able to split multiple times and be summoned like that. Slug seems to be a different summon with one slug that can split multiple times if needed through summon.If that makes sense. So like instead of getting like Naruto who gets a frog who is available at the time, Katsuya just summons apart opf herself if the whole version is not available. And second, I knew Karin was going to heal Tsunade. I knew it.

lol. Sai the detective is on the case again. Maybe that's why he is a blank slate so he can ask the questions easily. We can put ourselves into Sai and he asks the questions we wanted to ask. As some even said he plays like Winston from Ghostbusters. He may not be the super-scientific guy, but he is the guy who is the more down to earth, tell-it-like-it-is-character that relays the message to the audience. Good stuff.

I know some are confused, but I feel his line would make more sense if you read it as this: "Your words may sound sincere, but your smile tells a different story." Kind of interesting that this is brought up because we see Sai looking at the visuals of the situation. Which is how the manga is supposd to be read, don't just focus on what the characters say, but how they are portrayed visually. It is like Kishi is telling us how to read the manga after this and how we SHOULD be reading it from now on. Again, writing and visual cues, just like in a video game, the writer uses to give the reader a hint.

So Sasuke wants to take over the world?

He wants to be a dictator. "I shall level this system and create my own" I knew that's why he wants to be Hokage. I predict that at one point Sasuke, while twsiting his pencial mustache, will tell Naruto and everyone "Join me....or perish." lol.

Karin....the only thing I can say is

Oh well, I lost faith in Karin a long time ago so I am not that disappointed. Like Hinata, I feel Karin falls into my bin of "Wanted better, but still remained the same despite many things telling them 'no'" Oh well, at least there still is hope for Hinata which is much better than Karin at the moment.

lol, I do like how the supposed SS moment is very Anti. Simply because I like how there is change in at least one character and I glad it was Sakura. It is also good that while many thought we were going to get a "pro-" moment we got a true "anti-" one. It's not ambiguous or question of  what it is. Kishi put emphasis for a reason and the detail is highly important because he wants to show the truth. I think this also proves that that one small panel wasn't blushing.

I see some are very disappointed and are very overdramatic about this chapter. Well, I can't and won't try to change your opinion, but while it may seem cruel a bit, it is true that you have the full right to not read the manga at all. It's not a matter where you have to like it or not, by you don't have to read it if you feel it is beyond hope to get a story you want. Hey, I stopped reading some manga myself because I didn't like the way it went. I think that's the beauty part of freedom. We are not forced to read it.

Not trying to tell people what to do, but rather just saying "Hey, you got options."

Can I make one suggestion though? If you are gonna stick around, despite the option not to, it's probably better to refrain from such comments like "I expected better" or something. Some like the way the manga is going...even if some aspects are a bit rough. So while you're entitled to your opinion...try not to bring others down, please? Thank you.

FINALLY! PSYCHO SASUKE IS BACK!!!

But damn, I wanted to see Sasuke reveal his true intentions after we had some team 7 goodies. Oh well, knew this was coming. 

 

The last scene was really depressing and emotional. We have two ex-best friends brutally stabbing each other. Even though I was never a fan of Kakashi, he deserves a much better death than being stabbed by his most important person. Especially, when this said person has made Kakashi who he is today. 

 

And Sakura. This goes to show that the Sakura in 634 could be paralleled to Tsunade in Part 1. In Part 1, Tsunade sided with Orochimaru in hopes of getting her loved ones back. She was truly happy that she was crying. But then she realized how stupid she was and decided to face Orochimaru with an expressionless face(Like Sakura in the last page in 634).

All I know is, Sakura's development will continue based on what Sai asked, its not insane to think this time how she may turn. Many are already expecting a troll moment but I would not think this so, Sakura saw what Sasuke became in the land of iron but after what Sai and Jugo said, it wad just adding more. Its as I said, Sakura's maturity can be coming up at last. Her trait in loving Sasuke may finally cause her to go through a shift, mainly how she developed between Naruto and Sasuke. Chapter 540 may get the resolution soon. Things are changing and it will come soon.
 
NS is again safe, another chapter, nothing hitting the past events or Sakura=Kushina.

I interpreted it as Sai telling the audience that Sakura is outright lying. She isn't happy to see him and she doesn't trust him. The question now is WHY is Sakura lying?

Is she planning something?

Is she trying to show the side people would expect for some reason?

Is she try to not distract/upset Naruto?

Could it have somehting to do with the Promise of a Lifetime?

Lots of possibilities.

 

Good point. Maybe this chapter is really a turning point for Sakura and her feelings, maybe he is plotting something, or maybe it's both.

There is always the possibility of Banbutsu Sozo somehow playing a role in the future. Tobi does have the potential to use the ability since he not only possesses Yin Release (as indicated by the Mugen Tsukuyomi technique which he probably learned from Madara) but with Zetsu's Senju DNA infused into himself he may have the physical stamina to perform Yang Release now. Through the single Rinnegan eye that he has and the established potential for Yin-Yang Release due to the artificial enhancementsTobi could potentially recreate the Sot6P's Banbutsu Sozo technique, an imperfect variant of it at least. That is how I can foresee the man redeeming himself whilst dying in the process.

 

Tobi should have the neccessary components to take Yin-Yang Release to its greatest known extremity.
