Not a bad chapter, not the best, but it was good.

 

Finally built on the Naruto's wind helping Sasuke's fire. Again because of Sakura though anti's and haters will use the mid point of the chapter where she cries as stuff against NS despite the fact she was most likely crying for the both of them, basically team 7 was back.

 

This chapter did indeed prove the parallel again between team 7 and the sannin. Guess i might as well say this: We got a flashback of Minato looking at Sakura and thinking of Kushina, we now got Hiruzen looking at the 3 of them and thinking of Itachi, whats next Obito and/or Obito flashback towards what we saw? Parallels do exist in this series, thats a fact now.

 

As for the ending, 2 things:

-Sasuke's true intentions, whatever they are, something tells me this is what may push Sakura away from him. Sasuke is supposed to be "Neutral" for all purposes right now, but even a suspected action as Orochimaru and Jugo said, something funky is up, mainly his reasons to be hokage. I get the feeling that this is obviously going to impact Sakura, maybe the end of SS is coming up, if Sakura turns away well we know the drill. This chapter least had a lot of action and it was nice to see their powers in full use.

-Orochimaru, Sugetsu, and Karin never went to the battlefield, instead they found Tsunade and the kage so next chapter I predict this:

 

We are going to be looking at Orochimaru visiting tsunade+the kage. They will speak but in their time, Orochimaru will reveal just what it is Sasuke will intend to do, when he does it later on, I see Sakura may possibly overcome her ideals on Sasuke.

Interesting how sai refered that to the "former team 7" i think it's another hint that this team is not going to be a team 7 again on the future.

This was a great chapter, I think Sakura was crying when she saw everyone including Naruto and Sasuke working together

@Atheck - In respose to your post,  do you mean a positive or negative impact? Because I feel it's the former.

 

While this chapter has demonstrated Sakura's healing prowess now rivals Tsunade's, and past chapters confirming her seal makes her physically more powerful than the latter, she still doesn't have the range of offensive capabilities to put her on par with either Naruto or Sasuke. That doesn't mean she's hit a glass ceiling and won't progress from here.

 

IMO, Sakura doesn't possess Sage Mode at this point in time (unlike what a few of our members believe), but I'm certain she will go on to train in senjutsu; I'm also sure that she will train to use her latent genjutsu prowess. (because despite not being mentioned since the start of part 2, Kishi wouldn't just leave this unaddressed) The reason is I'm sure there will definately be at least one more arc before the series ends, which is only strengthened by the now apparent countdown to Sasuke's betrayal.

 

If you think about it, Kishi has given himself an excuse to explain Sakura's lack of training development over part 2. If she's been storing chakra all this time, then perhaps Tsunade called off the training until Sakura formed the seal, in case further training interfered with the chakra storing. Now that the seal is formed, she can now continue her physical development without hindrance.

 

Also, I'll shed my view on the slug issue: 

 

Katsuyu has only been shown using one type of attack (acid spit), and all subsequent appearences have had her aiding her summoners with mass healing and a providing a communications link to everyone she's linked with. However, that might simply be because she's the only slug capable of symbiotically bonding with her summoner to perform these feats, and that she has little offensive capabilities overall, making her better suited to a support role. Perhaps there are other slugs out there that are better suited for combat.

I LOVED this Chapter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was a great combination By Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura is showing her potential as both a healer AND a fighter, PLUS Sai calls out on a suspicion of Sasuke's!!!! NICE NICE NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  you know though? I must wonder. What if Sakura could somehow use her medical ninjutsu as combat technique? and create something as large scale as Naruto and Sasuke too? Wouldn't that be great!!!!?????

sakura will never equal in term of power with naruto and sasuke, because both of them always parallel with the pinacle of modern shinobi name hashirama and madara.

but for me sakura already in kage level. because who can stand a puch from sakura, if you do not have : an edotensei status, bijuu, susanoo armor, defensif jutsu(sand and raiton armor), and sage mode durability.

 

in the end this is kishi writing style for female character.

Well I don't disagree, but still it'd be great If Sakura could use medical Ninjutsu offensively too. that'd be awesome to see  Although you are a bit mistaken about one thing, That is not just Kishi's writing on a Female character, it is a typical Japanese cultural way to write women.

Loved the new three way dead lock and the hokages amazed by the new sannins strength.

Sakura was awesome, im expecting a badass fight from her soon.

Which in itself is a reflection to their culture. Being a battle manga does not really change that does it? the distressed Damsel thing is expected of typical female behavior in Japan.

I really liked this chapter! Just a chapter of mostly awesome action, and the anticipated Naruto and Sasuke combo attack! It was pretty cool

 

And you can't believe how excited I was  when someone finally questioned about Sasuke's real intentions (THANK YOU, Sai!) even though Juugo did not give much of an answer.

 

I wonder why Sakura was crying? Was it because she was so proud of Naruto and Sasuke?

 

Oh, not to mention we finally know where Orochimaru is, along with Karin and someone else (I can't remember )

 

... So that means we will see the fate of Tsunade, finally!

Sakura's tear originated in her right eye.

Generally, according to observations, tears starting in the right eye mean happiness, while tears in the left mean sadness.

Sakura was crying for the combo, of course... What else otherwise? More than crying, I would say that she was touched by the vision of those two together, like in their old days... 

 

The question is: Why that Sakura's panel in the last page? Sakura is behind those two while Sai is even behind her. If Sai managed to hear that words from Sasuke then also Sakura did hear it. Could be the serious face of her be related to the same Sai's thought? Sakura has felt that Sasuke has something in his mind? Or She was just worried for Tsunade? I see what did Kishi here.... He's just playing with us in order to stoke our doubts... The last page leaved us with a question: Sakura is worried that Sasuke has something in his mind or she worried for Tsunade, since in the same page Kishi put Orochimaru who has arrived at Tsunade's place?

I thought it was hilarious how Manda couldn't care less about Orochimaru, but Sasuke's Aoda is all, "Sasuke-sama~~~"

 

Not to thrilled that Sakura and Katsuyu didn't get to fight, although I did suspect that Kishimoto would bring up the Naruto/ 'Sasukeh' bond again.

She heard Sai as well and I am sure she knows about Tsunade's state from Katsuyu via the mental connection.
