This is what I see so far.
People who after chapter 615 spending a lot of time speculating of Sakura role just having a sudden switch.

People who were speculating things to come for Sakura being disappointing for good reason when you sit back and think or ask yourself why Kishimoto didn't draw Sakura before could mean that is for some major reason.

Some Panicking about SS, panicking about SS is silly if you ask me but you cannot write off the possibility of them having some positive interaction that might shake some NS fans believes.

We have some who don't care what role she gets as long she becomes Naruto wife in the end.

And a few who believes Sakura chan is useless.

I want some people to tell me what made sakura their favourite character. Shes one of my favourite since her character developes very well around the hero of the stroy, but there are a lot of people who seem to have her as their favourite character because she has done so much and i would like people to tell me those events.

Well, there was once upon a time were Sakura actually was an great supporting character. It started by the beggining of Shippuden. She was kind of Naruto sidekick, aways giving support in fights, healing people when they needed, offering some tatical advice, and you know, being useful to the team. But that just doesn't happen anymore. I was fine with her role as healer when the war arc started. She was doing her job. But after she was forced to go to the battlefield with the others, we barely saw her doing any actual fight. We barely see her fighting off some mooks. What happened to the supporting Sakura? The one that is aways helping out in some way? Because I don't see that anymore.

Well, I'm back and I can see a lot of people making new theories on the next event. This is good. That's what it should be, not pairing this, pairing that. This is the first chapter of the volume and we don't know who's focus we are going first. For all we know, it could be Kakashi volume, but we don't know because how long can Kakashi last with Obito. Obito is already proven to be strong. I think it may start with Kakashi talking back at Obito which may bring up the day Obito changed. We got to wait and see how the event unfolds. That said more wait.

I really don't understand why people are so happy Sakura is back, don't get me wrong I'm happy she is back but I'm also disappointed. Because it turned out to be that Sakura was there all along, she wasn't in the other dimension as some of you suggested, she hasn't gone to heal the kages and she wasn't on hold for some special moment with Naruto(forehead kiss chakra transfer). No she was there all along but kishi didn't feel like drawing her to much effort. Right now in kishis eyes Hinata is more important than Sakura, it's just a fact don't hate me. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, I'm just a realist. Right now Sakura is just a random character, I'm hoping this will change soon and she will finally have a real heroic moment. A moment that tells us that she is indeed the heroine of the story. Not a color page with Sakura and the word heroine written on it.

Same here, but i never expected more for her to happen. She doesnt do more then sidecharacters, she just gets more screentime then them. Her character developes around naruto and thats the reason why shes always shown to be with him. Iam ok with it since she gets a lot of screentime and development and that is what makes her the main heroine. Shes just not the character whos ment to fight and have huge roles like naruto.

She was never really supporting anyone in fights except sasori fight. All weve seen was her healing someone in one panel or the other nothing more.

But here's the question everyone should be asking over the Pairing Wars. Both Hinata and Sakura got Naruto's chakra to help fight. Yet for some reason, Hinata was the one who had the dramatic, romantic atmosphere one in 615 while Sakura's chakra transfer with Naruto was completely off-panel. More noticable since she wasn't there in 616. Kishi did this on purpose and it's very strange.

Any thoughts?

She didn't want his idiot dream to be crushed. :3 I think she still holds on to this, but we almost never see her thoughts anymore. I liked that she put her feelings into action, I hope she does the same now. (Protects Naruto)
Then she was very cool in the forest of death. She actually protected him. >: D

Then she says
"Next time, we'll do it together", love this panel
Too bad she doesn't have this resolve anymore(He ruined Naruto the same way, by removing his original desire), she'll leave everything up to Naruto and Sasuke. Because she understands that she doesn't have the strength to help them. I wanted her to do more than believe in them, I can not accept her role as a bystander.

Then she says she wants to protect both Sasuke and Naruto in the beginning of part 2. Still hasn't done it.

I also like her personality type, and her character design. That's the only thing left to like, because her development is the past, but her personality remains the same.

I'm not blaming Sakura though, it's Kishi's fault.

NS moments usually happens after a fight. Then they have time for some real interaction. Examples are the hug, her feeding him in the ramen shop, them talking about Tsunade in coma. Or else it would be too..hasty. I hope for a long NS moment after this battle. Maybe in a medic tent? :3

Keyword about Hinata : naruto, neji, hyugaa, and her team.
She always appear when they appear.
And to resolve 573. I agree with ns4l3g that this war mean for to resolve many side character and to give closure to main character. That's why I believe we will get NS moment in this war arc and resolution for love triangle in the next arc.

Well, as many would say, that volume was just proved the friendship's bonds with Naruto. Now that we are in the new volume with a new morale, everything will change. Sakura, one of the main character, is being shown that there will be something upcoming. It's just what I thought, Team 7 is going to get the focus here. Kishi usually put people on-panel with new thoughts as a way for things to come for that character. That's why I said it shows promises because Sakura appeared in the first chapter in the volume and now, going true to her character, she is very concerned about his condition since once again, Naruto is pushing his limit, which I didn't even know that Naruto was controlling everything to help them.

This is why people got excited because not only characters were being true to themselves, but the fact she appeared so early means there is a theme that will occur in this volume, not to mention the foreshadowing. I mean how many panels she can get from reaction. It's funny how she got two panels reaction towards Naruto. I guess Sai wasn't lying about that book in Movie 3. The point is something is on the horizon. Also, Naruto don't place anyone on pedestal like Hinata, so in a way, it's normal to think that the whole fight is about friends, nothing more, nothing less. But now, we are shifting to the main cast focus, starting with Kakashi. Lastly, it is possible that Kishi could pull a Chikara, where there were once many characters, but after one blast, we will see little, mainly the main cast. The real question is who are we going to focus now.

If this is what made you like her chracter, what bothers you with the latest chapter? This is just a normal sakura screentime scene like we had them in the middle of part two, sakura worried about naruto.

No I read it. He just moved too fast for her to see. for anyone to see actually. Besides It showed Sakura being motivated by Naruto's words.

I never said the latest chapter bothered me. In fact..

I enjoyed the Sakura panels too, and I hope this foreshadowing comes true, however;

I don't think it was wasted. There was nothing epic for her to do in this chapter. If Sakura still stands there later, looking all pretty in the middle of a pure action chapter, I'll understand. But this scene isn't over yet, we just got a glimpse of what she's up to.

I'm disappointed in Kishi's work on her for the past years, not the latest chapter.
