Which signifies what exactly? That Naruto was picked up in the middle of a battle by a comrade? I don't suppose that means much of anything to a "pairing war."

It appears that nothing means much in a pairing war other than the word "canon".

ups sorry if i make you upset, what i mean we as a pairing fan tend to bias just like nh and ss. as for now nh has the upperhand with all the focus they get. but we still has the card and that's naruto confension. i think is not coincidence when we get a chapter who emphasize the (one side) romantic love name chapter 559. sorry my engrish is bad

You have me confused--Naruto's confession? Emphasis on one-sided romance in 559? I recall 559 showing that Naruto's kept Hinata's confession in mind while telling her that she's strong.

Yeah, I got that. But I related the hand-holding as something more along the lines of the two finger touch or something similar to that. Yeah, it could be a point for NH, but that's not how I took the scene at all. At least from Naruto's standpoint.

For some reason i belive Neji will be ressurrected because i strongly believe that Kishimoto will nto play the rin's card on Naruto because for obvious reasons and would make NaruSaku canon since it would confirm Naruto feelings for Sakura again and would destroy the pairing drama that he setup for the ending, Neji will be ressurrected and will be freed from that seal.
I dont think Neji deserved to die specially after the lack of development between him and Hinata, if he would die at least he should had more focus than Hinata on the war arc.
Realizing things on the battlefield and even met his own father which got ressurrected by Edo tensei but Neji didnt meet him it could be a good development for Neji if Kishimoto put his father to fight against him.
i felt that Neji's flashbacks were too rushed just like the chapter itself.
Neji deserved at least a chat with his father.

Oh yes, standing together at the foreground with no chakra cloak while everyone behind them does--truly, this shows exactly how much she's just like everyone else here. And please, if this was a cover of Naruto holding Sakura's hand I doubt there would be calls of "it's just marketing!" like there are now. The panel of them holding hands was apparently a big enough deal that Kishimoto decided to put it on the cover; if he'd just been trying to stir up pairing drama, why not draw Naruto with both Hinata and Sakura? Why repeat what's already happened in the volume--but with added focus and detail?

hmm interesting, but how about if it only highlight naruto feeling without make sakura know it like sakura uncousious.
because i am the big fan of obirin parallel i think the similiarities between narusaku is hard to ignore.

the same can be said the other tnj victim like nagato who is another uzumaki who had train by jiraiya and told to be the choosen one(why it so easy to say the chosen one)

So strange. So many were worried about a simple chapter cover page because THAT would definitely mean something. But having Hinata holding Naruto's hand on the front of an entire volume is suddenly no big deal.

I don't hold much stock in cover images and volume covers either way, but I just feel like people are trying way too hard to blow this off. When it comes to the canon side of things, I don't feel this affects NS at all. But it still hurts the overall view of NS. Or rather, the confidence that NS will be written in a believable manner from here on that will truly convince me that these other pairing moments were nothing but silly moments.

I don't care what other fandoms think, my own view of the manga is souring without even looking at what others think or feel. What they think of the manga has nothing to do with my opinion unlike some others.
