I look forward to watching the rest . And I really liked this week's theme. Classy . If I can get a headset before then, I'm thinking of joining the one on the 16th (if not the 23rd), because this is starting to seem really cool and interesting, and I'm already looking forward to the next one .

Nice intro. It was also good to hear everyone's opinion on the chapter and I'm pretty much with Slex and ZDemon on this chapter but I didn't necessarily dislike it. I was alright but pretty meh.

I haven't watched it all yet but funny moments for me were.

Just finished part 1 of this week, it's shaping up pretty well!

I tend to agree with Slex's thoughts for this week, except that I actually really liked this week's chapter, lol. But I'll talk about that in my review tomorrow and likely explain myself a bit in next week's podcast.

Watching through Part 2 now, and will finish it tomorrow. Great job guys, I think I have a new highlight of the week.

Zacrathedemon, you spoke about Neji at the beginning, right? I want to say I totally agree with you, though Neji needed to be killed in order for Hinata to become the heiress, because of she doesn't, there's no other role to her in this manga because I don't see any NH in the end. So, she has to fulfill a role.

OK, so commenting a bit about the 2nd part:

-Thanks James (and everyone, by the way). My tonsils are still a bit... infected, but I hope it doesn't last for long. Oh, and I apologize for delivering such a... deep question. XD

-Fun fact: 4life gets really inspired when talking about a topic XD

-OK, so one thing which actually made me smile a bit was how Slextrem had to pass the baton a few times.

-Anyway, to keep up with the topics: (WARNING: long reply below)

-What initially attracted you to Naruto and what keeps you reading it at present time?

Initially: A friend of mine introduced me to the anime at first and, being the sucker for romantics that I am, I was moved by two things at the beginning of this series: Naruto's crush on Sakura, and his determination after hearing Haku's words (when you have someone to protect, that's when you become truly strong)
At present time: Apart from habit, the hopes of seeing NaruSaku become canon and the interest in seeing what will happen to the characters (e.g. currently interested in knowing why did Kakashi had to kill Rin, how will Obito react to that, a battle between Naruto and Sasuke and how will Sakura's words on chapter 573 take effect in the future).


-Who is your favorite character in Naruto and why is he/she your favorite character?

I have a tie between Haku and Gaara, and my reasons are very simple:

Haku: It may sound biased of me to say this, but I believe this arc placed the standard in how Naruto (both the story and Naruto himself) would behave and develop in the future. WIth that as my initial statement, Haku's actions and words were a great influence to Naruto. It helped him grow and learn things that he would remember in the future (Gaara arc and his resolve to save Sakura) and his resolve to protect that who was important to him was something worthy of admiration (I guess that why I'm glad that Kakashi told him that he was indeed helpful to Zabuza when he was Edo-Tensei'd). Haku's presence may not have been long in Naruto, but his influence is still strong.

Gaara: From a cold killer to a great friend. Gaara has always been an interesting character for me, and not only because of his similarities with Naruto. I certainly didn't expect him (along with Kankuro and Temari) to help Konoha in the Sasuke Retrieval arc. But what really impressed me was his efforts to change how people saw him. I'm sure it was hard work, but eventually, he gained the respect of his people and became Kazekage. Not only that, but he became an honest friend with Naruto (and by honest, I mean that he tell him the truth when he needs to, even if that truth is something that Naruto disagrees with -refer to his speech to Naruto about killing Sasuke to protect Konoha-). Is not just about turning from bad to good, is about the efforts he did every day to achieve this: to be a good person, a good friend, and to change the perception of the people. Is no wonder he was the one to give the speech before the war. Gaara, along with Haku are my favorite characters in the Naruto series (with of course, Naruto and Sakura folowing closely behind)


What do you think of Parallels and how are they a reliable foreshadowing for NaruSaku?

1-Jyraiya/Tsunade
2-Minato/Kushina
3-Obito/Rin
4-Yahiko/Konan*
5-Kushina's speech to Naruto (along with Naruto's perception about Hinata and about Sakura)
6-Kushina/Sakura
7-Kishimoto/Naruto
8-Kishimoto's wife/Sakura*
9-And if you believe in horoscopes and about opposite poles attracting each other: Naruto's b-day: Oct. 10 (libra); Sakura's b-day: March 28 (Aries)*

And can you call all that coincidences? XD

-Do you think NS will be saved for the climax of the story?
Yes! XD
