[Poison_In_Your_Coffee]

I really loved this chapter. It had so many great things going on, some really sad ones and even some really funny moments. It was so nice to Sasuke again, though I wasn't expecting him at all. I'm hoping we will see him more in the next chapters as well. Also, I would want to meet the people who have re-build Konoha. That is some topnotch work, not to mention quick, beating every renovation company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Loved the colour pages, too. So pretty. It was nice that team Gai got their moment with Neji, even if that was very brief. Kakashi and Naruto's speech was very nice. Ino and Shikamaru's moments with their dads were so , too, but also pretty funny. InoxSakura frienship all the way.

Hinata kicked some ass, and it was nice that her father (right?) noticed how strong she was being. Too bad that Madara noticed as well and noted that to Obito. I still think that Neji was likely the "Rin", but Kishi keeps bringing Hinata to Obito's attention, while Sakura is nowhere to be seen. I really don't want Hinata to be targeted by Obito, but I'm starting to prepare myself for that. Obito's about to fly off the handle very soon. Madara doesn't seem too concerned about their struggles against the allience, BTW. He just seems a bit amused. Wonder why.

Overall this was a great chapter but seriously, where was Sakura? I don't think she was even somewhere in the background at all. Is she just lost somewhere in the crowd and was not shown because she is not important to the plan? Or has she left entirely? Maybe to go to help Tsunade or something? She was just with Kakashi a couple of moments ago, but now he seems fine and she wasn't around him. This is probably the thing that struck me the most about this chapter. Her absence could be meaningful, or it could just be that next week she will be shown just healing some random ninja somewhere in the battlefield.

As far as shipping goes, this was, as expected, a much slower chapter in that front. Hinata and Naruto still held hands in the beginning and after that continued to be close to each other. Hard to say how Sakura will figure in all of this, since, well, we didn't even see her. Not much new from this ch. I think we are soon going to be rehashing ch 615 all over again.

Again, it's best to remember all this hand fiving, Juubi trapping, and speeches are going down in 5 minutes or less. Kishi could have stuffed Sakura into the mix somewhere, but I think it would be better if he saved her so she can have more of a focus.

Sakura was technically in this chapter, even though it was only in Ino's thoughts.

Kakashi had his chakra recharged by the Kyuubi, like a battery. Naruto is handing out "modified" Kyuubi chakra, specially made by Kurama, which causes the cloak. (I think. I'm not an expert, but this is my guess.)

Yeah, I saw that, though I wasn't sure what that meant. I agree, that's probably what it is... I'll wait for a better translation.

This chapter was great for every present character, especially Ino-Shika-Chou and Neji. I hope Kishi will save Sakura will later, so she can have a solo chapter for her development.

I doubt, i think the people who dont have the cloak are more vulnerable, i can see Lee, ten-ten, Gai, Kakashi, Sakura those people are more vulnerable to an attack by Obito, Hinata using that cloack already made her a person that will not be targetable, my concern was if kishi pulls an Obi/rin on Hinata but it didnt

He made Sakura vulnerable with a purpose.

It was odd to see everyone else power up except Sakura ( ya know, Naruto's team mate) . I'm hoping this means she will be getting a nice showing or something in a future chapter.

Also, has he done pictures like the color spread before to indicate future event? If so, I feel a little more confidant about Sakura getting a good fight in soon.


"Flowers dancing on the battlefield".. Could it be? Is Sakura about to mess someone up, or am I putting to much faith in the idea that Kishi cares about showing in a positive light?

Also, I love Kishi reaffirming the Ino/Sakura friendship. That was the highlight of this chapter for me.

Also, is Sakura's hair getting longer?

So, I wouldn't call them staying close a bit longer. Notice that the clones did the chakra transfer to everyone. If Kishi would like to emphasize Naruto's closeness with Hinata, he won't exclude him when those Juibi arm is reaching out for her. Heck, if Kishi decided to emphasize NH, might as well protect Hinata from those Juubi arm. The fact that he wasn't emphasized to be close to Hinata speaks volume.

I wouldn't worry about Sakura, I firmly believe she'll have her time to shine. I personally think we'll be rehearsing Pein Arc again, instead of 615, based on the pattern of Naruto manga. But, before that, I think there'll be an SS

It just kind of curious that Kishi did show Sakura in the last couple of chapters, even if just for one panel or so. But now she is nowhere to be seen, even though just a moment ago she was near Kakashi. Maybe I am making a too big deal out of her absence, but it does really make me wonder. If Tsunade is about to die, it would be really good to have Sakura on her side. Sakura might even show her power by healing Tsunade, or at least be there with her while she passes away.

I also doubt that sakura is getting that chakra cloak. That also the reason why i see rhat something special is going to happen with her. It could be part of the plan, but i just think that hes saving her for later. But im 100% sure that sakura will play a very big role in future events after this chapter.

He chose to include her in the color spread. At the very least, it means that he hasn't forgotten about her and still thinks of her as the heroine. That's a good thing, right?
This chapter was focused on commencing the Ino-Shika-Chou plan, so I'm not surprised she wasn't included this specific chapter. I think we'll be seeing her next chapter, for sure.

We had an NS before Nh on Pain's arc when Sakura called for Naruto.
We got SI(SasuIno) on this chapter.
We already got an SS may be the SS will be on Naruto vs Sasuke faceoff or whatever but i do think there will be an NS on this battle.
I have the feeling that Naruto will enforce his feelings for Sakura.

A NS not from Sakura's part but from Naruto's.

Just rereead the chapter with the new translation, and it's interesting that Inoichi says "First up is Ino-Shika-Cho." Implies there is more coming in this plan. So I think Sakura could definitely be getting into position for the next phase of the plan. Either on the battlefield or at headquarters. Both Obito and Madara are acting like everything the Alliance is doing is sigh, soooo predictable. So I bet there is something else being planned behind the scenes, and that this first wave might just have been a distraction.

Also, I'm curious to know exactly what Madara called hinata: little girl or little missus. I'm curious as to the actual translation.

Lastly, it would make sense that they don't know Hinata. But I expect them to know exactly who Naruto is, as well as Sakura. After all, they've been chasing Naruto through the Akatsuki for years. Naruto saved Gaara, and Sakura killed Sasori (one of their own), so they would have to know Sakura by name. And they would know who N and S were through Sasuke. So it was a little weird to hear Madara call him "that Naruto kid." Heh heh, that "kid" has been a thorn in their side for years. You'd think they'd know his name very well by now! So sort of wondering about the translation there too.

And there has been some mention of Obito targeting Hinata. But again, I think it's more likely that if he goes after someone to hurt Naruto, he will go after Sakura. After all, Obito knows she is a formidable opponent, plus has significance to Naruto as a teammate and to Kakashi as a student. I don't think Naruto's little hand-holding event on the battlefield with Hinata will bump her up into a more desirable target than Sakura.

Really interesting points. I'll be curious to see it this pans out. Kishimoto does work in patterns for sure.

If Sakura does go back to Konoha, then she could even encounter Sasuke. So there is a plausible window for some SS event to happen, when there hasn't been before. (And you know, when I say SS, I mean the appearance of it!)

Or she and Karin could tag-team and kick the crap out of him!

The whole ch 615 was basically a big NH moment. Their handholding was only a part of the whole package, others things included Hinata encouraging and inspiring Naruto, Naruto thanking her for her support etc. Their handholding was also given emphasis, it wasn't just a brief slap of a hand against another hand. I don't know if NH handholding moment was intended as romantic or just platonic, but it is clear that it was much more important moment than just chakra transfer for the plan. Just compare Naruto taking Hinata's hand in ch 615 and Naruto taking Shikamaru's hand in this chapter. There is such a world of difference. And as this chapter finishes, it is still Hinata and Naruto next to each other. At the moment Hinata and NH have the advantage of that: they are near each other and interact. But how will Kishi use that time together? It could be that he will now take the opportunity to sink NH.
