@harry4e You bought persona 4 but haven't played it?? I shall call the cops on you. Anyway like nikki said, Kajitsu VN version is unique in a sense that the characters backstory are all f**cked up. Well maybe a couple of them have it better but its still bad. But it won't have the School Day's kind of ending. I suggest you watch the anime version first because it removes all the romance to focus on the main story. Only the important parts of the girls' background story will be covered. Then you can figure out who your best girl is and do the route in the VN.

 

 

I have yet to finish Xillia 2. Was very busy this past few months. I'll probably just give up on Xillia 2 and play Hearts because I only have one TV at home so I have limited time to play it. Won't have such restrictions with the Vita.

But on the subject of Tales, I recently got Tales of Hearts R and have been having a blast.

 

The combat is great especially once you are good bit into the game and I am liking the characters a lot so far.

Hah! I dont like destiny that much too, but damn its addicting. lol I might get Xillia 2 after Hearts. its my first Tales of Series game, and i think i'd like more.

 

And Defs should play P4, you can always download it in ps3 if you want to . but the vita version is the latest one. and i do understand the struggle with handheld. i still pref big screen, heck my 3DS is collecting dust in my cupboard. ;p 

 

and Yes.  my Sig is from GRIASIA No Kajitsu, if you're after a pairing, anime is not for you as it touch base with all the girls problems without much romance to make way for the 2nd one, Griasia No Meikyuu. 

 

but if youre after the storyline and comedy . defs should watch it :)

Its very rare to see bloodshed in this game, there is but no one dies. I can't go much in details but its not horrifying like other VN's.

 

and YES , it is a Cardinal Sin to buy P4 and just let it sit around, easily played 120 Hours on it, along with the Anime , Anime + and Fighting game. The Characters are so Lovable and unique in their own way.

 

and defs should play Hearts, its wonderful game albeit a bit short but very enjoyable.

I got Tales of Heart and I Really like it because of the Stat system .

Well I won't stop you But Xillia 2's Endings are Satisfying to watch, even if the most bittersweet in the series. The darkest Tales Game yet for sure.

I can't get into VN, I've tried a few over the years, but I can never concentrate enough to have a clue what decision to make I ended up using guides or just giving up.

 

Hmm...fighting game....probably not the best time to mention I also got hte P4 game., or I did I sold it two months ago with plans to get new one.

I can understand thinking about Kohaku and Hinata in the same sentance, they do look similar, I had even started thinking they were voiced by the same VA but I got her mistaken for Collette from synphonia.

 

Doesn't Xillia 2 have mutiple endings, with only one considered the true ending?

 

I got an email from Amazon my copy of Hearts has been dispatched and I just realised the game release date was last Friday and not next Friday so it was dispatched a day late which pisses me off, I'm going to complain epecially as this means I didn't get my preorder costumes either.

Uh yeah But I like both the semi good ending and the perfect ending though. Each have their good points and downers too.

I wonder if they'll carry any of that multiple ending scenario forward into the Zesteria, though hopefully not the lack of actual talking from the main charactors, though it doesn't look like that is the case. I have two issues with the game that really stops me from loving the game like I loved the others, one is the lack of actual talking from the MC puts a dampener on the groups dynamic, and not being able to take your entire party on the missions most of the time. the group don't feel as a unit like they do in the other games, in the past games they always felt like family they don't feel as tight knit group as the past games because of those two changes.

one is the lack of actual talking from the MC puts a dampener on the groups dynamic, and not being able to take your entire party on the missions most of the time. the group don't feel as a unit like they do in the other games, in the past games they always felt like family they don't feel as tight knit group as the past games because of those two changes.

 

The reason Ludger doesn't speak is it would be a major spoiler for the story apparently he does speak in new game + mode but haven't got there yet to prove it.

 

The other thing isn't as jarring as you might think you have to take a special team on the side quests but whomever you want in the main game though you can only change in towns

I can confirm he does. It something in the purchase nmenu for new game plus (costs 0). What it does is when you select the option you will hear his voice speak the line before the choice screen vanishes,

At least. there are 2 others. And also I don't show it but Ludger is my Favourite Tales character at the moment!!!!  others alre Lloyd , Emil, Yuri just to name a few. Yeah I know they are all main characters but what can I say?

Hmm...I never even considered the lack of Ludgers voice was that, I'd just figured the Baba-San wanted us to feel like we are playing the role of Ludger so by not giving him a voice he was essentially telling us to give him our voice....I'm pretty sure I know what the major revelation is, it wasn't that hard to figure out, I was pretty much sure by the time I woke up with a 20M debt on my head, I'm still trying to figure out the other part of the Jigsaw, Phantom_999 has already debunked that particular theory, so the search for the leading lady continues on.

 

Shame I have no idea what I am doing, I tried to continue today after all this talk about it, and I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why I was where ever I was, and what I had planned to do next, I know I can continue the story but I think I was doing the charactor focused missions but I can't remember if I did them all or not.

 

Is level 50 too high for someone who is around Chapter 8 or 9?

If you are on Hard, no and if you are trying to pay all your debt (as you tend to level a bunch doing all those jobs). I was level 82 when I fought the final bosses (played mostly on Hard) and they were still tough.

Chapter 8 or 9? Still so many kicks to Ludger's nads to go. Seriously, this game is so unforgiving to him. And pretty much everyone else.
