Drinking the offered potion with a 'thanks', Skadi struggles a little as she stands. "Perhaps the grenade wasn't the brightest idea..." With a sigh and a wince as she feels the potion working she walks over to the rubble, cradling her injured arm. She blinks at the hunched over figure of Julien.

"... Kid, how'd you get all the way up there?"

She's battered and bruised, but despite the almost-broken arm, she still has time for slightly insulting nicknames.

Shocked to hear the owl speaking he kinda became paler than he already was from hearing that he might be poisoned.

Making sure he regained his composure so he didn't scare Twill he tired putting a smile on. "Heh, i'm sure i'll be fine....I wont let this kill me." Zerva said wincing slightly.

Rubbing his arm a little he looked back at Twill, "Don't worry about me, its all good." Zerva said looking her in the eyes.

Julien sat there on a large rock concentrating with his hand on his shoulder casting a Cure spell.

"Well, apparently this place is broken up into 3 levels. Where we came in was part of the upper level, which is between the surface, and the catacombs."

He finished his healing spell and pulled a map out of his pocket, "Here, I found this upstairs." and handed it to her.

"Below us is a machine room, where the mages and summoners had men working on the heavy equipment. They built airships here."

"Hah!" Balian smirked again at Skadi, "Thrown around and still cracking jokes. I like your style, Skadi." He walked at Julien and helped him clear away the rocks. "You won't believe the day we've had." He took Julien's arm and helped him up. "Though...we'll need to stop at a store once we...eventually get away from here. I lost a bunch of potions." He stepped back and looked around the room, "So...what now?" He asked no one in particular.

"Thanks" he said to the Barman as he helped him up.

"We need to get to the lower level, we should find the Barracuda down there."

Murs took the potion and drank it as quickly as he could since he never liked the taste of potions.

"You wouldn't happen to have any skooma" he pulled himself off of the ground and walked over to the trio with the map. He half listened to their conversations his mind wandering. He walked over to the rubble and started digging lightly, after a few minutes he found his dagger which had been blasted from his hand in the explosion. He frowned when he noticed the end of it was chipped and sheathed it quickly just wanting to get out of here.

"Well if where we're going is down we made enough noise, might as well blast our way through."

"I find a golem, and you make a breakthrough." Skadi rolls her eyes as she takes the map. "Go fuckin' figure." She unfolds the map.

"Goddamn, this place is a labyrinth.." She had lost her bow in the explosion, but she really wasn't that good with it anyway, and figured she could always get a new one. "Blasting our way through would be the quickest route, but..." Skadi frowns in thought. "I'm not sure if this place can take another explosion."

"Yeah, everything down here is fairly old." he added to Skadi's assessment of the situation.

Julien held out the book on Airships. "I found this as well, I had just started reading it, when you decided to try and kill me." he joked.

"Anyway, from the looks of it, we may be able to gleam some insight from it."

"It should come in handy when we find our ride."

"Considerin' we just blasted the ceiling, blasting the floor maybe isn't a good idea." Balian agreed with Skadi. "Well, we can go back the way I came from, might be a way there...." He pointed through the hole in the wall next to the debris.

"A controlled explosion couldn't hurt." Ragnarok said.

Twill nodded, looking down at Noctua. "Can you show us the way to the ship?"

It turned its head to regard her and gave a soft hoot. "Yes, I can navigate you to where I last saw the ship."

She felt it's talons twitch on her shoulder, the spot starting to feel strange. There was something flowing into her from the spot, like fire, and she had a strong urge to push the creature away. Had she been wrong to accept the owls help? Whatever it was was fighting her own magic, suppressing it.

"Do not fear," Noctua's words echoed in her head, and she grit her teeth, forcing herself to relax. Shutting her eyes, she waited, fighting the urge to vomit. It felt so strange, so foreign, accepting another magic over her own. When she opened her eyes, the room seemed suddenly clear. It was as if a light had been switched on, and every detail stood out sharply to her sight.

"You need to go back the way you came. Now you will be able to see." he told her, and she nodded. The darkness would no longer matter.

"Let's go, Zerva."

"The map! The Bloody Map!"

He pointed at it frantically.

"I didn't take it for no reason! What does the map say?"

Noticing what was happening he began running with Twill. He was lagging behind a little because of his legs but that didnt stop him.

But the thing that was slowing him down even more was the sharp pain going up to his shoulder.

Zerva ran closer to Twill, biting down hard he kept from crying out in pain. "We almost there yet? Zerva asked loosing his breath faster than he'd like to have.

"I'm not wasting anymore grenades, Murs." Skadi sighs and looks at Julien before handing the map back to him with her good hand. "I don't want anymore unnecessary fights, either."

She turns, heading down the hall and looking into a hole that used to be a doorway, seeing a winding staircase going down. "C'mon, this way!" With that, she runs down the stairs, the aged wood creaking under her boots.

Julien packed the map away along with the book and followed Skadi, along the wall he picked up a torch and lit it with a fire spell. "How convenient!" he added.

"Hey, Wait!" Balian ran with the others, "We'll pick up the others on the way, I left them along this tunnel."

With the ability to see, she was able to navigate through the numerous halls. They were heading downwards, she realized, feeling the air get cooler and damper as the descended. Looking back, she made sure Zerva was still behind her. He was struggling. If they didn't get out soon... Twill shook her head. They would make it.

"We are close," Noctua informed them, and soon the area was opening up. A giant chasm lay before them.

"It's been carved out of the rock," she muttered, looking at it. This holding area had been carved by man right into a cliff-side. Now the increasing cold and dampness made sense. Inhaling, she smelled it, a saltiness to the air. The were near the sea.

"It's the sea," she told Zerva, pointing to the rocky ledges surrounding them. "I think this was built for easy access in and out. They'd need a place to fly the ship out from, and I think it will exit into a ledge over the sea."

Zerva looked out to the ocean with a smile on his face, "Thank the gods we made it Twill." He said looking down at her with a smile. "Looks like we'll be getting out of here soon." Zerva said with a sigh.

At that moment he fell to his knee's breathing a lot heavier than he was a second ago. His body was in a lot of pain at the moment looking out to the see he saw his dead sister smiling at him.

Zerva looked up to Twill, "If I don't make it, please don't forget about me and I just want you to know ever sin-." Zerva stopped when he heard the sound of people running coming down the tunnel.

Julien approached a cross way in the corridor ahead of them and stopped. "Which way now?"From the corner of his eye he noticed Twill and Zevra approaching from the east hallway.

"Zevra? Are you hurt?" he asked.

Quickly he ran over to the couple, and stopped just short of them and raised his right hand towards Zevra.

He concentrated on his strongest healing spell, and cast Cura II on Zevra and revitalized him on the spot.

"How do you feel now?"

Feeling a sensation of something warm go through his body he some how felt no pain anymore.

Standing up and facing the Noble he put his hand out to give him a handshake.

"Thank's, I thought I was a goner but thanks to you, i'm here." He finished with a smile.
