Ofcourse, she had feelings for him before that, but she realized them when Yamato mentioned them.

I'm not denying that she has feeling for Naruto. I actually do believe that she's in love with him, but I think her feelings for Sasuke are holding her back from fully expressing her love for Naruto (because, if she wasn't holding back and truly wanted to convince him of her feelings, why didn't she kiss him? That would have shut Naruto up and thrown any doubt he might have had out the window). And, I don't know what episode 45 of Shippuden is, because I've stopped watching the anime a long time ago. If you happen to know the manga chapter?

On top of that, i think she doesn't realize yet that she's in love with Naruto, because has you said, her reminiscent feelings for Sasuke are clouding her mind.
But it's so obvious that for her, Naruto is way more important than Sasuke now ! She still care for Sasuke, but she doesn't want to lose Naruto, moreover while trying to catch up to Sasuke !
She doesn't want that at all !

I think she's aware that she cares very much about Naruto, but i think she doesn't realized yet how much she cares for him.
I think she needs more to realize it.

Maybe i'm wrong.
Kishimoto's interview soar questions, while he said he tried to depict an honest and determined girl.
Did he lied ? Did he tried to lead us to a wrong idea ? Or did he just tell the truth ?
If Sakura has already realised that she loves Naruto, I still think that she hasn't yet realized how much she loves him.

I don't know but a good moment is when Sakura had that flashback of them when they were kids and she saw him alone in the streets. A moment of intrest on her part and before the whole Sasuke heart throb thing and it proves she saw Naruto first and it was true feelings and not for popularity. Her even having the flashback is proof enough. No flashback of Sasuke when they were kids or before the popularity. Wish I could write more but using Ipod touch and battery is low and bout to die maybe tomorrow after I charge it.

Which episode is this? I'm very curious.

I don't think she knows yet that she's "in love" with Naruto. I think she knows she loves him, but I don't think she knows just how much.

Kishimoto stated that her love for Sasuke was a selfish one. She "chose" to love him, which is why I've never actually thought that she loved him in the first place. Frankly, I don't think she even knew Sasuke at all, I think it was just one of those things where people project an image onto a person and if they lie to themselves long enough, they'll start believing the lie.

So, her love for Sasuke started out selfish, and that is the only form of love that she knows, or that she has to compare what she feels for Naruto to, which is what I think is confusing her, because her love for Naruto is anything but selfish. For the first time in her life, she's feeling these wonderful unselfish feeling for someone, and she can't proclaim them as love, because for her, love was what she felt for Sasuke.

And Sakura is a rational human being, Kisimoto has always flanked her intelligence and analytical abilities, I'm pretty sure that she compared the way she feels for one to the other, and I'm pretty sure she hasn't found a name for what she's feeling for Naruto yet.

I'm not sure if I'm making much sense, so I'll just get to the point: She loves Naruto, in the actual sense of the word, but her selfish love for Sasuke doesn't allow her to define those feelings as love, which is why I said that she has to get over him in order to love Naruto.

And I'm pretty sure she was still confused about the way she felt in chapter 297, but that's a matter of perspective i guess...

Part I was just feelings of appreciation and friendship if you ask me not because i don't see those moments where it seems like Sakura likes Naruto in part I I enjoy those moments too, but don't forget she was still in her crush phase for Sasuke when he's usually involved she completely ignores Naruto and completely disregards his feelings unfortunately so I say at the start of part II its a new fresh start for both of them and they see each other in a new light without Sasuke interfering with their perceptions and becoming closer and more open with each other because of the desire to find and bring Sasuke back and for other reasons

I know some time before this chapter is when H&E is mentioned, but I can't find where. Can someone tell me which chapter is it mentioned?

well i dont know which chapter, but i do know its when yamato, sai, naruto, and sakura go to the bridge and yamato mentions it.

:T its when they first get there before the battling and kyuubi naruto.
