I'm all aloooone, there's no one here besiiiiiide meeeeee~

I'm house-sitting for my grandma for the next six days, so it's just me, her hoard of cats, and her parrot. When I was getting ready for coming over, I was excited to think about having a whole house to myself for a week--food, computer, movies galore--but now that I'm here.... I feel really lonely ;_______;

Fortunately this is a house I've half grown up in (I've always been really close with my grandma) so I don't feel uncomfortable being here at all. I just don't have anyone to talk to, and so far none of my real-life friends have come online to chat.

Meeeeh.... I brought tons of anime to catch up on, and my grandma has dozens of movies I'd like to see, but I almost feel like I don't know where to start XD
I mean, I finally have a week to myself after a busy couple of months at school, and there's so much to watch!....

*shrug* Maybe I'll just put something random on and see if it holds my interest. If not, I'll find something else.

BLAAAAAAAGHBLAHBNJBJKVFSKJVMFEVKJEM,EN

Just when I'd started getting into the groove of being here by myself, I remembered I have homework due online today.
And I dun' wanna do eet.

*siiiiiiigh* Stupid BritLit class with your stupid teacher that doesn't organize anything and your stupid gaggle of students that goes to class only to worship the teacher like he's Jesus in disguise.

I've gotten most of the work done, and the last bit shouldn't take too long--it's just a matter of getting myself motivated enough to do any of it.

In actuality, I could stop with the amount of work I've already done, but if I do a bit more I can earn enough credit to make up for not doing the first essay for this class.

....which I didn't do 'cause I couldn't get myself motivated XD It's kind of a running theme with me.

Thanks. Glad to know I'm not the only one XD

Still haven't done it... Instead I started putting my hair into little braids--I've got half my head done, and I still have no motivation to do the rest of my homework >>;;

Well, I've reached a conclusion:

I'm just not going to finish at all XD The teacher just responded back to what's already been posted, so I'm guessing he's done accepting anything anyways.

Besides, I've already put myself in the mode to not do any more. Off to feed my grandma's parrot and watch AMVs!

Agh, how embarrassing >///////<

I totally forgot that my uncle would be here on and off throughout the week, so every once in a while he'll wander in to grab food from my grandma's fridge (she lets him mooch...) while I've got a really sappy moment playing on the TV!

For example, I was just in the middle of watching Ah! My Goddess in English and Belldandy was giving some cheesy speech about how they just have to believe--

--when my uncle pops his head in and gives me a look that says, "What the hell are you watching 20-nearly-21-year-old?"

DX

I'm sorry for liking cornball anime, alright! *siiiigh* Now I'm all anxious about him coming back in if I turn it back on. Normally I wouldn't care, but my family's really been rubbing it in lately whenever they see me watching anime.

"Oh, is the blue-haired girl going to fight the robot, or will it be the boy with the weird scar?"<----my mom about Full Metal Panic.
"Sooo, is the annoying kid in orange going to do anything besides scream?"<----my dad about Naruto.
"Those chicks are hot. What? They're dudes?? You're into some weird kitten."<---my little brother about just about every anime he ever catches me watching.

Ooooh the drama of my life. XP

I had a similar experience with my anime wallet, but granted this was a more distant relative who "doesn't get it". My parents may tease me about it every now and again, but in the words of my friend's mom, "It's her passion." I'm going on 19 so I have the same kind of "you're still into THAT?" thing going on. My parents are pretty understanding about it though.

My father did that to me when I watched Digimon and Pokemon back in the day. He tried doing that with Naruto and I told him to Shut the heck up, and he stopped.

My friend said something about FMA: Brotherhood (my favorite anime in the world) and I punched him in the gut. He stopped too. Lol.

My parents are like, "Whatever you like. Don't worry about it." My 16-year-old brother, who likes a show intended for young girls, included. They're cool like that.

Aw gee guys, thanks--it's nice to not feel so alone in being made fun of XD

@Figurine--Your wallet? What's it look like? I've been carrying around my Naruto wallet for nearly half a year now but haven't received much flak... Probably 'cause it's sort of, well, not exactly conspicuous:

@Omega--My parents never really said much about Pokemon or Digimon, though it was probably just because they came on TV with all of the American cartoons; they might have just figured they were "typical" weird cartoons. *shrug* Now though they know what anime is and how it differs, so whenever I watch it they don't just write it off anymore and critique everything odd about it (hair colors, eye colors, hair styles, powers, expressions, etc.).

@Kona--I wish they were a little more like that. Not that they have a problem with me watching anime, but they certainly don't keep quiet about how weird they think it all is.

Lol @ your families comment about anime. I had my mom watch a full marathon of DBZ Kai with me and she actually LIKED it! :D It made my life! Me and bro also watch it basically all day—!

My dad watches it with me when I'm depressed, lmao, and he knows it makes me happy when he ask questions about the characters XD... yeah... They don't judge, lol. They know quite well if they say it's for kids I'll give 'em a 3 hour speech! ._.

@Shippu-- LOL! The only member of my family I've ever gotten to sit and watch with me was my brother--he admitted that Full Metal Panic was "badass 'cause kitten explodes and people get shot".

@Omega-- Really? I like it, but thinks it's a little plain. But, it was either that one or one with Sasuke on it. Noooo thank you to the sauce =P

I also have these! =D --Click here to view--

And I totally want these-- --Click here to view--

Haaaaah, I'm such an addict for merchandise sweatdrop.gif
Anyone wanna buy these for me for my birthday? No harm in buying things for some random person you know on the internet, right? whatthekitten.gif
