why was it mention that Kaguya came from a far away land only to then say that it was not important.

Probably to uphold the mysticism and other-worldliness surrounding her character. Naruto badgering Hagoromo for more information means that Kishi would be forced to try and explain how she could have existed in a celestial world beyond the confines of Earth (one that was alleged to have only been created after her son divided the Jubi's body into nine separate entities). The conversation would have been steered off-track so Kishi just decided to cut it short.

Still wondering why Hagoromo having a brother was important....clearly this is something Kishi didn't plan something like this until just recently (otherwise he would have alluded to it more before) You gotta wonder someone as powerful and equal in values as Hagoromo, nobody mentioned him like he never existed except Hagormo himself.

Well let's see why his brother never got mentioned or at least why that part is written now. Damn, if only Naruto knows as much as Madara. He'll be questioning right now on what happened to his brother or why he never heard this part. That's pretty huge uninformed detail.

Not to mention in the world of Naruto forgot about the ten tails, until the kage summit were the kage and their company there were informed of it existence then for the first time in over a 1000 years returned in the current war of ninja

Well, they are newer generations, so it made sense that only Tobi who was taught by Madara know the past and Juubi. It did connect the reason why that gedo there in the first place. But this one is a strange case. I mean what's the story on that. Not even Madara didn't mention it. Unless something happened. I did joke that maybe the brother just got curb stomped by Juubi in 10 seconds and the rest is all on Hagoromo.

I wonder if Sakura is gonna react like she did in the OVA to Naruto waking up (Kishi has a tendency to have the manga do parallel stuff with the non-canon stuff at times) though its unlikely I mean she is holding his heart when he regains consciousness she'll be the first to know.

Awesome chapter. The fact that Naruto is the succesor to Ashura isn't all that surprising. What is surprising however, is the fact that he's basically his reincarnation. I think it's safe to say that means that Sasuke is the reincarnation of Indra and that, just like they did in the past, the sons od the rikudou sennin will clash once again. 

 

I don't get why Kishi felt it was necessary to give Hagomoro a brother. I suspect that he probably had a hand in starting the conflict between Ashura and Indra and that Sasuke will probably meet him at one point.
