It wasn't a bad chapter, but it wasn't very interesting eater. The part about the sage of the six realms was good.

It was a somewhat slow chapter, but I enjoyed it. I still don't feel a lot of justification for his current actions though. But then again, some of the world's greatest villains didn't require much to set them on their path of self-destruction.

I still want to know how Danzou captured Konan. I am a little interested about more back story into how they formed their group. More or less to learn about how Yahiko wanted to bring about peace. I'm pretty positive it lines up more with how Naruto and Jiraiya. I guess next chapter will have some type of response from Naruto. Been waiting 3 weeks for it. haha.

I still find it intriguing how similar Yahiko and Naruto look, appearance-wise.

I hope we get one more chapter of flashback. I want to see God Realm kill Hanzou, and how Hidden Rain got to how it currently is.

I liked the Sage of the Six Paths stuff. I had speculated that Nagato is the reincarnation of him, and if the story of him being a messiah is true, then I suppose that fuels the whole "God" belief with Nagato. Also, if ninjutsu was first created to bring peace, then that makes me think another great change would have to occur to bring peace again, which Nagato is trying to accomplish.

This was actually a decent chapter. I liked the flow of the story here.

Damn Danzo. He really needs to get his crippled ass kicked now. Let's have Nagato hunt for him!

Eh, it was a pretty interesting chapter. I find myself liking Yahiko the most out of their little group, because he really does remind me of Naruto, both in actions and in looks. Yeah, Yahiko's death sucked majorly, but I still don't feel that it really justifies what he's doing. Hopefully, we'll be done with flashbacks next chapter, and then we'll be able to move on to Naruto's answer.

This chapter made me lose more respect for Nagato. Sure he did suffer a lot, but all of his anger and drive is completely misplaced. Yahiko sacrificed himself because he believed that Nagato had the power to change the world for the better. Nagato even says that their little gang found peaceful ways to resolve conflicts. The entire premise of Akatsuki goes against that principle. Peace by ruling the shinobi nations with an iron fist is not peace, but oppression. Nagato fails to see that he's becoming like Hanzo and Danzo in letting his own personal goals guide his actions.

When Jiraiya talks about the Great Sage, he likens him to a religious prophent to went from place to place to spread enlightenment (aka ninjutsu), not level an entire village just to prove a point. It seems like the pain that Nagato suffered early on in childhood stunted his logic and reasoning. I hope Naruto gives Nagato a nice boot to the head letting him know that by being 'Pein' he has become another Danzo and/or Hanzo. And seriously, shouldn't Nagato's beef be with Danzo, not the entire shinobi nation?

I expected there to be an actual tragedy. Something that would make me want to possibly side with Pain's beliefs. But there isn't.

For the love of God, Yahiko's Gang tried to form an alliance with Hanzou, of all people.

Nagato is blaming the rest of the world for his friend's idiocy and arrogance. He keeps talking about being God, and bringing peace to the world, but all he's doing is promoting hatred and evil.

Pain is easily the worst villain in the series, and I hope he dies soon.

This was a very boring chapter in my opinion. I'm getting tired of Pain complaining about his "awful" life when Narutos was 10x worse. Pains being a child right now and him explaining his warped, childish logic is only pissing my off. I REALLY hope it's over soon and we can get to Naruto dealing with the problems in Konoha.

Well, that's because Hanzou managed to lie to Yahiko's group about approaching the three nations for a peace treaty. It turned out to be an ambush for Yahiko and co. I think at this point Danzou might just be a hidden schemer; no one might know that Danzou wanted the Hokage title for himself....

But the three of them trusting HANZOU is even crazier than trusting Danzou. The guy was a paranoid dictator, and even looks evil!

It was an okay chapter. I mean, losing a friend is really sad, especially when you see him just use the kunai you're holding and pulling his arm in to kill his own friend. That is sad, a lot sadder than how his parents were killed. >_>

I hope it'll go back to whatever though soon.

I know I found that the pediment of irony lol. I am still laughing at the rhyming thing, but it was a sad chapter too.

Anyways, I say its a good chapter. I expect to see an end in the next two chapters (How Akatsuki was developed and how Nagato and Konan met Madara and to finally hear Naruto's answer, hope its a good one that is believable).
