Kishi is really REALLY stupid He REALLY should shut his mouth i mean does he not care about dragging his bad reputation? Cause it really could effect his new manga. If people have no faith in you then how are you going to get viewers thats going to read your story?
It sickens me that narutos stupidity comes from kishi himself. 
Im not defending kishi but if hes planning to make another better manga in which he stated before he really should smarten himself.

The series Kishi is planning on making.. will it be good? maybe. Can it suck? that's a possibility too.
The one thing I can say is if there is a pairing (which most likely there will) in the new series, I have a feeling he may pull the same kitten that he did with NS which wouldn't be surprising.
I think what I find more annoying is that Kishi says its a battle manga not a romance story... Yes this is indeed true Kishi, but that shouldn't stop you from having Naruto and Hinata interact.. It doesn't have to be romantic, just have a chapter where they just hangout or maybe when Naruto is training have Hinata step in to help cause she wants to see him succeed before the big battle takes place or in the aftermath to see how he's feeling.
No Kishi you say NaruHina was planned early on, well you failed miserably as an author You are essentially the one in control of the events that transpire and the direction to take the characters. There are other stories that are fantasy action based and the romance being small, but important.
Something like this:
Look I'm an Harry and Hermione Shipper, but I can totally buy that Harry and Ginny are a great couple since they've got development, and this moment more than anything convinced me that it was gonna be the endgame pairing.
Ginny was like Hinata in the beginning of the series, but you know what happened Kishi.. The girl grew up and developed as a character, and you mean to tell me that Hinata couldn't do a damn thing while Naruto was with Jiraiya or after Naruto found Jiraiya died, or after the war when SHE LOST HER COUSIN NEJI. You're so called love interest for Naruto just sat back and waited for him to get better on his own, and then she makes her approach.
Yeah Kishi where the hell was Hinata to comfort Naruto after Jiraiya's death? Again it doesn't have to be a romantic moment between Naruto and Hinata, you could've easily had Hinata be there for him as friend.. but obviously that shows how important you think Hinata is in the series since you claim that she is Naruto's "love interest".
Now again all you need to do is make a pairing like Mario and Saori from your Mario one shot manga, I've said it several times already. That's a pairing I can actually find pretty believable if not that then at least Minato and Kushina or Obito and Rin (even though I consider that one semi-canon).
