Bit underwhelmed. Maybe I'm getting burnt out on Marvel, but I didn't get very excited watching it.

Perhaps it was the Avengers Age of Ultron not living up to expectations. But this is different. The same directors that made Captain America The Winter Soldier are behind this one.

One thing about the trailers I like to do it's how youtubers react to the trailers and I am having fun.

AOU was burdened by having too many characters and plot lines flying all over the place.

 

I hope this one doesn't get burned out by this as well. The trailer does give me the impression that  it will still be a captain america story and the rest of the avengers won't get as much development than in a usual Avengers movie which is necessary.

 

I still get the winter soldier feelings in terms of cinematography, action, and tone which is a good thing.

 

Honestly, I think Stark is too smart and stupid to be manipulated by the government ( hacking into shields' database) and I prefer his more fun self. It kinda feels ooc for him being that serious and dramatic.  The whole civil war seems more like a counter move again Batman vs Superman.

That's one way to look at it, and I guess its that AOU gave off this dark presence in the trailers that kinda got minimized in the movie.

Not so great as BvS yet a good trailer

Are they going to show spider just some months/weeks before the movie be released ?

I wonder if there is any "hidden" scene where appear a bit of spider and they are expecting us to find it (apparently there is a scene with ant-man in captain's shoulder)

This is the director's biggest challenge since it's involving multiple characters. He's doing great with past Captain America movies, do this right, he's set.

It looks like they're taking some very large liberties with the comic's arc here and I really like that.

Whedon, for me, has reached "overrated" status definitely. AoU was disjointed and disappointing.

 

Ant-Man and CA2 were great. I hope Civil War is more like those.
