So who else asides from me loves this EPIC kick a*s series? Talk anything regarding the show. Plot related, fights, pairings, theories etc. I for ship Jaune/Pyyhra they are what Naruto and Sakura should have been before Kishimoto killed the manga.

Trust me you won't regret it. The two volumes are in Netflix and each one has 4 episodes a total of 8 episodes.

not sure if it's known already (there's a thread on this somewhere on here) but mounty oum (he did the battle choreography and a lot more on rwby) has passed away recently.

I know it's cruel but it makes me wonder where Rwby's headed atm it's an awesome series and I'd like to see more of it.

This thread is to talk about RWBY. I already posted the RIP Monty Oun thread. But yeah Roosterteeth is in the works of volume 3 right now they're taking some time off to mourn Monty's passing. I think Roosterteeth can pull it off with volume 3 and maybe volume 4 without Monty.

There was a team of animators it wasnt just one man, Monty may have been the brains of the show but it wasnt just him animating.

But yes as Graven said mourning comes before this show.

I'm not complaining about later release dates or anything, I just happened to watch some of Mounty Oum's earlier works (I got linked there by a forum on the rooster teeth website).

The titles were Haloid and Death Fantasy and I really got the same vibe as with the fights in RWBY. But these former 2 were solely animated by Mounty Oum so I hope the quality of the fighting choreography stays the same now that he passed away, because it was Awesome (with a capital 'A'). And it looks to me as if you don't find these kind of talents very often.

^Agreed but I'm pretty sure the animation team was heavily influenced by Monty so they know what to do and how to do it.

My dream goal is to work for RoosterTeeth one day please cheer for me (I'll be the one serving coffee). I haven't gotten around to actually watching RWBY but as of now, with Monty Oum's death, I feel like this is something long overdo.

Jeff Williams is the Soundtrack guy for both RWBY and RvB

There's been some new news concerning RWBY lately.

And also, for those that didn't know,the RWBY game has been approved on Steam's Greenlight.

So.... Oct. 24th vol 3 premiere.

There seems to be a push to break RWBY into the Japanese market, a manga series has started for it, and the Japanese Dubs VA list was recently announced.

Souri Hayami as Ruby, Yoko Hikasa as Weiss and Ami Koshimizu as Yang, that's about as A list as they come....the Dub might actually better than the original English Dub, Those three voicing Main Charactors in one anime, it's like i'm dreaming.
