It`s almost out. So what are your thoughts?
I personaly can`t wait to see more of Sif and Thor since they are married in cannon mythology (I also really like her character).
So since there`s a mini ship war going around, what do you think?
Team Jane or Team Sif.
I personaly ship Thor with Sif. He`s known her for way longer, they experienced much more together and Jane is kinda meh...
So... Opinions?

I have seen it yesterday for my Halloween event. Though I will not spoil I will say when people say squeals are not as good as the first, Thor The Dark World proves them wrong!
For ship Jane I guess though I'm not really into Comic pairings or wars.

I just want to see Marshall Heimdall Pentecost help cancel the Apocalypse again.

Thank you for not spoiling it. IN the hopes of turning you to team Sif, i would just like to inform you that in cannon mythology Sif was Thor`s wife. Even in the standard Marvel universe Thor was deeply in love with Sif and only had a minor thing with Jane (She was more into his host).

I am excited for the second Thor, but not super excited. Thor wasn't necessarily my favorite movie from Phase 1, so I'm not exactly pumped for it. I still want to see it, though, and I'm hoping it exceeds the previous.

No problem. I see, well I don't really care who Thor ends up with really. The only Marvel pair in the Movies I care about really is TonyxPepper given their development in the Movies, even though I think in the comics she was with Happy.

Man, SWIII was the best of the Prequel trilogy.

I agree. I didn't dislike the first Thor at all, and I liked what the characters went through. I think for me it was the setting, the other marvel movies, Hulk, Iron Man, Cap, all took place in so many various places where as Thor was mainly in a single town. Asgaard looked cool, but I would have liked more Earth locations. It looks like they do more travel in the new one from what the trailer shows.

Lol yea I can turn anything into a ship. Everytime you see a flock of birds you can turn it into a mini ship war if you like. It`s quite easy.

You can but given the fact we have to deal with probably one of if not the Worst shipping war ever, it be wise not to turn this thread into a shipping war for Thor.

If you are refering to our dear friends the NH... Is that ship still being taken seriusly? Honestly im so much in the green zone that I belive the chances of NH are about the same as of The Church of the Flying Spagethy monster becoming the dominant religion on Earth. NO bashing intended. I`m just stating the fact that I feel no treath from them.

Watched them both, but apperently the personel of the movie theater didn't know there was a second scene after the end credits and asked me to leave, managed to convince them though (they even stayed with me to watch ^^)

Well this is a summary of my thoughts on the movie.
There were some really fantastic action moments, with the final battle having some unique parts. I also enjoyed the acting from Hemsworth and Hiddleston, who have good chemistry and embrace their roles.
But that's where my praise ends. First, I don't find Kat Dennings funny in the film, and that seems to be the one reason she is there. And then there's Natalie Portman, who I don't think is necessarily bad in the movie, but nothing special, and her romance with Thor to me doesn't feel believable.
I find the worst part of the film, though, to be the villain. The villain wasn't memorable, not having an ounce of personality. To make matters worse, his overall evil plot never gave the climax a feeling of urgency.
I don't think the Thor sequel is bad, it's entertaining, but I don't find it all too special.
Funny thing that happened in the theater watching the movie though. This lady sitting like three rows in front of me would like clap and laugh/giggle uncontrollably whenever Thor would do something or a joke would happen. At first I thought she was just an over hyper fangirl, but as it kept going I feel like she may have been high on something.
