The Great NaruSaku Autumn Fanart/Fanfic Contest 2011!

It's NaruSaku contest time again!

As usual, we are holding a fanart/fanfic contest. This time, the theme is Autumn. There are no keywords, all you need to do is to create a fanart or fanfic with an autumnal theme! It can be set either in the normal Naruto universe, or in an Alternate Universe (AU). Don't forget, you can be creative with the autumn theme and use something associated with the word/season. For example, there are harvests, bonfires and autumn festivals. Yes, even famous festivals such as Halloween and Thanksgiving!

The Rules

• All submissions must have an autumn theme, and must show both Naruto and Sakura.
• Multiple submissions are allowed - either in multiple categories or multiple entries in one category.
• No submissions with mature content (i.e. material of an explicit sexual and/or violent nature) will be permitted.
• All submissions MUST be your own work. This also means that you cannot use art from the manga or anime as part of your submission.

Fanart can be submitted to the Autumn Contest category in the Gallery.

Fanfiction can be submitted to the Autumn Contest category in the Library.
To submit a story, simply click "Account Info" on the top menu, and you will get a new menu on which you can select "Add New Story". You can either use the built-in text editor or upload your story.

The new deadline for entries is 11:59pm GMT on Wednesday the 2nd of November.

After that, we will hold a vote by PM during the following week, ending at 11:59pm on Wednesday the9th of November.


The Prizes (for each category):

• 1 copy of the Naruto Illustration Book! This high-quality book is full of Shippuden art, and is in English.
• 2 volumes of the Naruto manga of your choice!
• A forum special, with perks such as a larger avatar, bigger PM inbox, bigger attachment allowance, and a shiny little star!

The winner of each category gets the first pick of the prizes, the runner-up gets the second pick, and third place gets what's left. Anyone under 18 years old must provide proof of parental consent for us to ship a prize to them.

How do I post my fanfiction entry? When I press the fanfiction submission link all I get is a page in the library with the contest title but all there is is a disclaimer. There's nowhere to post anything.

How fun! Saw this at work and actually wrote a story on my cell-phone instead of paying attention to a worthless meeting Needs a lot of editing as my texting skills are far from accurate when I'm trying to be sneaky... but I should be able to clean it up in a month's time!

Hmm, how big is the image file you're trying to upload?
