We all know that Asuma and the Third Hogake are son and father. We also know that Konohamaru and Asuma are Nephew and Uncle.
Who are Konohamaru's parents?
Does Asuma's have a brother or a Sister?
Did Konohamaru's dad did what Minato picked Naruto's last from his mother's last name?

I have never thought of that... Anyway, I suppose they do not need to be revealed yet

Sandaime had at least two children, but I think it's not important who Konohamaru's parents are because they are probably not shinobi.

Don't know who Konohamaru's father was but supposedly it's been sourced someplace (databook?) that Konohamaru's Sarutobi clan parent was his mother. I have the databooks, my knowledge of Japanese is pretty basic but I'll check Konohamaru's and Hiruzen's entries and see if I can find it in those. I do know Konohamaru's entries in all three just list him as Konohamaru, just like Nawaki was merely listed under his given name, where Asuma is listed under his surname- Sarutobi. Tsunade as well is not listed as Senju Tsunade even though she is Hashirama Senju's granddaughter. Those factors do kind point to them having a different surname, but their male parent not being from as an elite clan, so they are known by their connection to their mother's clan.

This happened in the real world of Japan too- a fairly modern example: Yoko Ono, when she was growing up, was referred to by adults of her parent's social classes as "a Yasuda granddaughter"- her mother's maiden surname, as the Yasuda family had higher social status than the Ono family.

They're Christopher Walken and Meg Ryan, from my rough estimate based on the position of the planets in the sky and the color of the grass when I listen to any given techno artist.

I think that's a pretty safe bet. He seemed to be under his grandfather's direct care, and we didn't see any parents with Konohamaru at Hiruzen's or Asuma's funerals.

Now that you mention it, we've never seen Konohamaru's parents, like everyone has said more than likely he was under the care of his grandfather.

The Konohamaru said Brother Naruto.
So it could mean that Iruka took in Naruto and Konohamaru.

Good thought. But he may call him brother because they are good friends

If Naruto, Konohamaru and Naruto himself said that he'd thinks of Sasuke as brother too.
Would it be cool if Sasuke, Konohamaru and Naruto became brothers when Iruka takes them in as his own.
If so who will be the mother figure for them?
Shizune or Kurenai or some one else?

It's Japanese culture. it's not uncommon to call a person older than you (but not old enough to be your parent) that you have an emotional bond with ani/ane san (older brother/sister). Note in the manga (during Pain's attack on Konoha) Ino calls Shizune: Shizune ane san. If the person is old enough to be your parent but not grandparent then oji/oba san(uncle/aunt) This is what Naruto should be calling Tsunade. If they are old enough to be your grandparents then it's ojii/obaa san. The "o" can be dropped and denotes either rudeness or a close emotional bond, depending on the situation. The older person in this dynamic rarely uses the other relationship term for the person, but simply calls the person by their name with the possible adding of "chan" (mostly female, but some use for boys, epecially younger ones), or "kun" (males, mostly for those not yet adults, it takes on a mildly insulting tone when an adult male calls a younger adult male "kun".)

I think they just aren't important enough to the plot to be mentioned, like Sakura's and Lee's parents.

We know that Sakura's mother is still alive cause Sakura got mad at her in one of first three Episodes. I'd think Sakura's dad got killed by the Kyuubi.

I remember that, too. But I can't find good enough evidence to state who are Konohamaru's parents... We always see him with either his teacher or his grandpa. Could the teacher be his dad? Or, maybe, no... I don't really think so.. XD I got confused now! wacko.gif

That was just anime filler. Both of Sakura's parents are still alive though, in the manga Sakura states her parents are very strict in chapter 3, and when Shikamaru speaks to Sakura about the vote to kill Sasuke he mentions if Sakura was killed her parents would go after Sasuke wanting revenge. So yes, they are both still alive and are ninja too, although more than likely no higher than Chunnin rank- not ninja of any note.

What if Sakura's parents doesn't like Naruto but they only respect him for the things he'd done?

Yeah, because of how close Konohamaru was to his grandfather and never really seen with anyone else when he was younger i'm just gonna guess that his parents are dead or just never really around.

Yeah, if they are shinobi then i'm sure they'd be more then happy to hand over Sakura to Naruto [Since all shinobi in the village have such high respect for Naruto] XD Ha-ha...
And that reminds me... I bet Kushina would absolutely LOVE Sakura =P 'cause they both have the same tactic to control there man. *punch* heheelq7.png
