some one says that the chapters came out wrong in the scanlation process

yeah there is something very wrong with those scanlations, what it really says it was changed in the scanlations, thats why i post the chapter 474 raw for those who know Japanese.

I think hes saying that way back when this chapter was translated, they made a mistake with the wording and only just realized it.

I'm sorry if I will be sounding a bit rude but NOW you guys realized that the 474 scans along with the translations were made WRONG?! I realized that since the released of the chapter. This chapter was a complete ice breaker to the pairings department in the manga and also this chapter was pro N/S, somehow the people who upload the scans and translators did it their way so the chapter sounds more that its supporting S/S. It's too late to do anything now since all the fans believe the fake translations but I did found out one thing from this chapter and that's:

Sai NEVER told Naruto that Sakura loves Sasuke he told him that she has moved on from him and she has chosen him (Naruto). That's she's expecting for him to hate her for what she did in choosing to kill Sasuke.

It makes perfect sense once you read the other chapters where she asks him to join up with him to the part she cries because she hesitates to kill him. I believe Sakura didn't kill Sasuke for the sake of team seven like Naruto she cares deeply for their team's bond and also because she knows that Naruto will be hurt if she kills his best friend.

But anyway we should find someone who can translate the raw scans of the chapter like Inera.

How do they mistranslate "Sakura really does love Sasuke" to "Shes chosen you over Sasuke", damn. No, she said -after hearing Sakura uttering "I want joining you. I want being with you", which was an obvious lie-: "She must love him. But...".

The phrasing and that "but" are very important. Karin is judging the situation according Sakura's words (notice again she said: "she MUST". She didn't say: "She does"). BUT she feels something is amiss. And it was, since Sakura was lying about wanting joining him and being with him.

Or perhaps I am being a shipping fanboy and getting obsessed over one line of speech.

It says that "Sakura chose Naruto" Sai never said "she loves Sasuke". And Karin said "she MUST love Sasuke, but..." so all in all Sai said that Sakura actually loves Naruto and picked him over Sasuke. Goku said that didn't Karin say Sakura loves him; but Karin said she must love him but... Sorry, get it now? I think I made it sound a bit confusing.

Actually Goku-san they also messed with 484 according to what they say Karin never said the word" love" ask someone who knows Japanese like ciardha. There should be a thread about fixing mistranslated dialogue we should bring all those raw scans and have them properly translated. If there's another Naru/Saku moment they will obviously mess with the translations they will do anything to make it sound like it's S/S or N/H. I heard that they do this because they hate Sakura I don't know if it's true though.

EDIT: I just found out that the anti N/H forum was close down for finding out the truth in the mistranslations. The people from the anti N/H forum were always investigating the translations from all the chapters and they were the ones who found out the fake translation from 474 as well as other chapters that includes the pairings shipping. They are actually censoring people for finding out the truth I finally understand that what SJ is doing is right this is exactly why they are demanding to stop users from uploading spoilers until the official chapter is release to prevent mistranslations.

Huh... If it is the anti-NH board I am thinking about, it was closed because there were pornographic pictures in several threads -despite it broke the rules-, and the Administrator knew about it, allowed it and wrote in those threads.

Well this does change some things and now the manga is pro-NS and SS & NH refuse to admit it. We are just waiting for Naruto's move but with the Sasuke issue its most unlikely.

Ahh, the shipping wars; even translations can't go through without being affected by them.

Nice that they're admitting it was wrong, but it's a little too much after the fact, if you ask me.

I had thought something was up. Especially reading the translation chapter. When Said "said" that sakura loves sasuke Its like a complete 180 from whats hes been saying the last couple of chapters concerning NS. And earlier in the chapter he tells Naruto that she was confessing her love to him.


I had a friend take a look at some of those Japanese scans now and heres what he told me. Keep in mind, my friend does n't have a pairing preference because she barely pays attention to anything Naruto related.

Hey, I just received your email. I could only take a quick look because I was working on project. From what you sent me, the sai charachter is trying to stress the fact to Naruto how hard it is for the Sakura to take down Sasuke. Especially when she loved him before, and still cares about him. The writing being used in a past tense. And that she is putting her past feelings aside to do what she thinks is correct. Sorry, im still wroking on my english.

I know her from another forum that I moderate and she is pretty trust worthy with translation because she lived in chicago and learned almost fluent english before going back to japan.

This is EXACTLY why I buy the Manga volumes when they come out. It's all about the pairing wars... I think it's unnecassary to switch words to make it seem anti-whatever or pro-etc... Can't we just enjoy the Manga without the bash/word switch/etc etc. It's not fun, especially if you switch what the author intended to right :| I'm not saying anyone specific just in general. I mean, us NS fans have been guilty of bashing and such, but rewording a Manga isn't right.

Ooooooooh, I thought this was for chapter 494, and was all like, "Wait, what happened to 493?!" But I get it now. So, exaclty what part of the chapter did they screw up, and is this the OM or MS version, or both? Imma gonna guess it's page eight that we are talking about though? When I first read it, I assumed it was meant in a platonic sense at this point. So if I look at it like this still it makes sense, or is at least not anti-NS!

Well mistranslations happen all the time,. You get what you pay for, and we pay nothing for the translations so we take what we can get. In this specific case, it does look intentional though and what sucks to me is the possibility of future altered translations. All we can do is keep an eye out, and not get too paranoid because then we'll start seeing things that aren't even there. But I agree, this is why pairing wars are detestable.
