Hellsing Ultimate VIII is finally coming out! Hell yes!

Yuruyuri and Mayo Chiki! both sound like the kind of shows I like, as well.

The rest of the stuff, I either don't care about at all, or I don't read the manga they're based on.

Others I want to check out are:

Nurarihyon no Mago 2nd season (I really liked the first season)
Dantalian no Shoka
Sacred Seven

Ovas:
Kore wa Zombie Desu ka
Ao no Exorcist

Movies:
Naruto: Blood Prison (Obviously)
Sora no Otoshimono
Sengoku Basara

Hmm, Appleseed is definitely something to check out. Blood-C interests me as well. I never did get to see the whole series of Blood, and it'd be nice to get the chance to sit through the whole story (even if it is a different retelling).

The rest of the new series just look like they're run-of-the-mill.

Ooh, there's a Fairy Tail OVA out today? That might be worth checking out when it gets subtitled. smile.gif

Black Lagoon has a new OVA out as well? It's been ages since I last read the excellent manga, I think the last bit I remember reading was Roberta's rampage which, coincidentally, is also the subject of the new OVA!

Another year, another Naruto movie. *cough*NaruSakuplease*cough* tongue.gif

I recommend Kore wa Zombie-Desuka to everyone here; we saw some clips of it at AnimeNEXT, and it was absolutely hilarious.

You should check out the first season of it. I was really hoping they were going to do a second season.

Too much tiresome hentai. Usagi Drop is one of the few that isn't and actually sounds appealing.

Cool story.

Anyways. I'm down for the Sengoku Basara movie, haven't caught up with the anime. (Got a huge backlog of movies and games to finish)

I'll give most of these a looksee and nail down a list to watch.

Usagi Drop is funny as hell in parts... at least the manga is.

As for everything else... is it just me, or does this look like a 'meh' season?

Don't tell me none of you are excited for Nyanpire? *shot*

Juuuuusssst kidding.

I agree on the 'meh' season thing, none of these things are really attention catching to me except for maybe the Fairy Tail OVA and Blood Prison, of course

I guess to those who are not interested in some slice-of-life/romance/comedy or Sci-Fi/supernatural animes it might be a meh season. for those like me who enjoys those kind of animes though, several of the series are to look forward for:

Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi, Mayo Chiki, Dantalian no Shoka, Morita-san no Mukuchi, Kami-sama no Memo-chou and several others.

Certainly TV anime wise. I'll have check out the Usagi Drop manga, it sounds like a nice premise, and does reflect a bit of the sad reality about the way illegitimate children left in those circumstances face in Japan.

The only other one that caught my interest was Ikoku Meiro no Croisee because it has a historical setting.

The others just look too cliched in concept (and/or annoyingly hentai) to be interesting- even the male harem one ( Uta no prince sama) with idol singers has been done many times before.

@ciardha--LOL I'm guessing you mean "ecchi" and not "hentai"? XD

Looking forward to Usagi Drop, most definitely! The manga's so sweet, and I'd love to see the art-style in motion.
Also Ao no Exorcist, Maria Holic, and of course Blood Prison ;P
Might give Heart no Kuni no Alice a try, even though the manga was kinda dull--the movie looks like it'll be pretty so that's a plus XD

...and i gotta admit that nyanpire looks freaking adorable and i'm totally gonna watch it >>;;

No, its totally hentai. I see lewd body parts and uncovered breasts everywhere.

Or that's just my x-ray vision kicking in.

Hentai? This series are far away from being Hentai, trust me fu.png

well, nothing really picks my interest, half of the series here seems to be your tipical super moe girl show, meh.

Usagi drop have an interesting premise, I need to check the manga, I'm also looking foward to the Fairy Tail OVA, that should be out by now BTW.

EDIT: Forget it, I'm gonna keep a good distance of Usagi drop now that I saw what's the ending of the manga.

This kind of reminds me of the sad times when I was hoping for an Mx0 anime, that never came true.

Medaka Box is one of the popular shonen mangas though in the WSJ.

Mx0 was very popular too, and on WSJ as well, but sometimes, some series won't get an anime no matter how popular they are. Also, I remember that Medaka box went through dark times, once it was so low in the ratings that it nearly got canceled, I think it was that time that the autor made it more action oriented.
