I think this is a fairly unique topic, so self-explanatory, what's your job?
I work as a childcare worker at a church. It's a very flexible job with good pay, which is great because I often have play rehearsals. I just tell the boss when I'm available that week and she schedules me when it's most convenient. I like it a lot.

What kind of attorney, Nate? My mother's one as well, so I'm just mostly curious.

My Fanfiction.net profile says I'm a propeller head by day, and it's true. I work in IT. I'm on the unified communications team, responsible for corporate email (MS Exchange), mobile messaging, instant messaging (for the state's largest power company), as well as the team responsible for all Microsoft server-related work within our VMware and UCS infrastructure. Technical writing/editing, and SharePoint/web content management takes up the rest of my time.
Besides the computer science stuff, I have an unfinished degree in neuroscience.
Not very exciting, I know.

You wouldn't happen to know how to force a VMware vSphere console machine to automatically detect and apply a USB drive connect to a specific guest, would you? Any time the console server, the guest server, or the host server reboots, I have to reconnect the USB drive to the guest that uses it.... It's driving me nuts.

I currently work as a Medical Device Engineer, and do a lot of Product and Process Development for different clients. My company specializes in Sterility Testing/Assurance, so a lot of what I do is testing and/or observing how different devices are affected by sterilization methods (mostly saturated steam sterilization), or qualifying cycles for end use in hospital sterilizations.
A good portion of it is simple-problem solving, which I enjoy, but the medical device industry is also extremely regulated, given that our work directly impacts hospitals and patients. So basically, I need to sign document after document multiple times before moving forward with anything. Sooo, I probably have to sign my name/initials upwards of 30 times a day. Which is...slightly less enjoying. Though understandable, obviously.
