It's an impressive generational line up. The tense expressions given as Hagoromo's descendants stand before each other...it shows how extensive this rivalry has become as it traveled down through the generations.

That aside, these covers and chapter spreads with Naruto and Sasuke are becoming repetitive. There have already been plenty in the last few arcs alone. The NaruSasu dynamic of the plot has been driven into the ground.

I wish Kishi could have provided a fully colured representation of Kaguya. At this point, she and Hamura are the only members of the immediate family to not receive an official colouring.

Hey This cover looks pretty sweet. I mean the last time we got Naruto and Sasuke only cover was #52. Reason why I consider this a cover about those two is the main focus centers on them. But look at this way at least the cover actually fits with the events happen in the volume this time.  

 

Aside from that I called it sorta. 

 

 

I think this Volume cover will either have the following:

 

  1. Naruto, Sasuke and The Sage.
  2. The Complete Original Team 7 With Infinite Tsukiyomi in the background.
  3. Naruto, Sasuke, and Madara with Infinite Tsukiyomi.

Oh don't even get me started on that  :smashy:, But speaking of covers, Does anybody but me get the feeling that Obito will appear on the next cover (#71)?

The threat it not over LOL. It's not that volume that cover the whole SS fiasco. It's the next one that people fear to have SS cover.

Honestly Kishi gets paid to keep Sakura off these. I guess she is just that bad of a marketable character that putting her on the cover makes people not buy.

She wasn't that involved in that volume. Theer was no reason to put her on the cover. It was all about Gai and his father and Naruto/Sasuke and Hagoromo. Next volume is another thing, she may appear on the cover.
