Okay, as i have already told you, my logic senses are tingling and telling me something isn’t quite right… therefore, I have one last damn theory in regards to what could have possibly happened!
I am gonna be collecting data for what I need in this theory and I might need your guys help. If anyone is willing to lay a hand, let me know by liking this post cuz my inbox is closed (kitten loads of messages to catch up to and well, I don;t need trolls in my inbox haha) and if I won’t be asking too much from you guys to keep your eyes on this post where I will be updating the things i might need help with, in case I don’t find myself what I need.
Look, I know Naruto manga is done and most of you have already given hope and a person like me might step on your nerves with its attitude to never give up, plus you don’t want to have your hopes raised up, that’s why I’m seeing myself in the position to mention that this plea of mine is ONLY for the people who are willing to help me on their own acceptance, not forcing anyone.

That guy who was so troubleseome by constently courting her with such obstinacy. Even Sakura who used to think about him that way, now, thinks about him in a caring way/ she thinks about him as someone important to her and is one who understands him very well (maybe “the only one who understands him well”, but I don’t know if it would be biased to translate it that way though it could be translated like that). She decided to believe in his beautiful dream that is “to become Hokage”She believes that one day Naruto will become Hokage and she decided to protect his dream. To pay back Naruto who always protected her and loved her until now.
Snuggled against (LOL I didn’t know which word used, though this one is weird) Naruto who’s dying after the Kyuubi was extracted from him, Sakura is using the necessary resucue method. Until Naruto’s dream will be accomplish, she won’t forgive to let him die (not too sure about that last sentence but I think it makes sense like that).
Note of the translator: Not sure at all about Obito’s panel so I didn’t translate it.

Note of the translator: There is only the passage with Obito and the passage where she intended to kill Sasuke that I wasn’t sure about, so I didn’t translate anything. But it’s not not very big, only one sentence for each of them.

Before that, Hinata, I will come to pick you up." What does he mean by destined to be destroyed? Why is Hinata targeted? In that moment a huge meteor along with a strong light passed the sky.
(Part 2) The moon's sudden approach! Is this a natural disaster? to a warning to the shinobi?
The five Kage meetings were urgently held. In the seat were leaders of each country, Mizukage, Raikage, Tsuchikage, Gaara, and.....if this continues the moon will be destroyed. The wreckage will come to earth. This is exactly a countdown until human extinction. The shinobi were in chaos. Look at Hinata's hair as a kid (looks like Lee's son's hair type leans more towards Hinata since it curves at the end too and you still have the shine + bangs):

and then look at Lee when his hair was that length (all are manga panels except the last two) (also Himawari leans more towards Lee's hair style here:
Himawari: If this is true, then she inherited Hinata's hair color, shiny hair from both parents, and Lee's hair type. Though it does look like a mix of both aha, but mostly from Lee's side. Especially since you can see how curved it is at the top. I think you already pointed this out, but maybe this is the reason she doesn't have the byakugan? Lee can't use ninjutsu or genjutsu, so maybe Himawari wasn't able to inherit the byakugan because of that? I always thought the byakugan was an aggressive trait since all members in the clan have it. Not sure where the blue eyes come from, but who knows. Naruto isn't the only one with blue eyes, and it could be because of a design feint Chatte mentioned.
No-name son: If this is true, then he's a clone of Lee, but looks like he inherited his hair style from Hinata. Same reason why he might not have the byakugan.

Just wanted to have a post where we post some of the things we speculated and the manga has confirmed, if I’ve missed anything here, please be sure to let me know and I’ll add it in.
First, let’s start with what 700 definitively tells us:

Won’t go into too much more detail unless it’s relevant, but that’s basically what I thought was important but don’t hesitate to let me know if I missed anything

The next is some of our theories, I don’t know if I’ve included everything here, this is just off the top of my head:
Chapter 700 – “Dreams Feel Real While We’re in Them. It’s Only When We Wake Up That We Realise Something Was Actually Strange” – Possible Theories due to inconsistencies
Lee x Hina
Support for the theory:
Panel placement. All I can say is look at 700’s panel placement. Most of the scenes foreshadow the next panel. This happens more than a few times. Some examples are:
i) InoShikaChou practice for their children. Ino mentions it’s “a secret technique passed down from our ancestors” (which most likely is talking about Asuma). Next scene, Asuma’s family.
ii) Asuma mentions she will be going to meet Kakashi and Gai, next panel… Kakashi and Gai
iii) Kakashi reminisce about the past and Kakashi mentions stepping down from Hokage. Next panel… ex-Kages
iv) Bee mentions Naruto and the Eight Tails mentions how Naruto’s in a very busy position now, next scene Naruto (being busy) as 7th Hokage.
v) Sarada mentions her “papa”/”dad”, next scene, Sasuke.
Now how does this relate to Rock Lee and Hinata?
If you think back to Hinata and Himawari, after Himawari mentions how next time she’d like to come with “big brother” next panel, Rock Lee and his son! Think of it what you will.
Himawari has no Byakugan. Now, this is the tricky part, not much is known with genetics in the Naruto world but it’s presumed that the Byakugan is a strong trait. One such reason that Himawari might not have it is because, if Lee x Hina are actually together, maybe his inability to use ninjutsu and genjutsu was inherited by Himawari and it cancelled out Byakugan and maybe the eye colour inherited from Hinata, if in fact no Byakugan was inherited, would be blue eyes. At this point it’s still speculation.
Furthermore, Himawari's hair bears a striking resemblance to Lee and his son. At the front, it may look a bit like Bolt, but it's deceiving, in the other panel, a shot is shown from behind which reveals the actual look of Himawari's hair which resembles no other than Rock Lee, especially when compared to the K11.
Drawbacks:
The biggest drawback is the whisker marks. These don’t make sense in general, though, so it’s hard to tell how Himawari got her whisker marks and the other drawback is that Bolt also has whisker marks which implies, implies not confirms, that they are related. Also, both Bolt and Himawari have some weird cherry top style going.
NaruSaku
Support for the theory:
Naruto has been stated before that he likes Sakura, we have not seen so far a reversal on these feelings as of yet
Naruto made no mention of a daughter/Hinata. Odd considering he was giving Bolt a speech about family.
Sakura’s place is right next to the Hokage building.
Sarada looks like Karin, suggests she could’ve been adopted by Naruto and Sakura as a favour to Sasuke.
Naruto and Sakura’s parallel reaction about Bolt, Naruto said: “Did Bolt do something again?” and Sakura said: “Let me guess… Bolt again?” (plus look at Sakura’s expression when she says it.
Sarada’s comment that could be interpreted in two ways, hard to tell as her reaction as she says it is not shown but she says in reference to Bolt, “He and I do have some things in common… at least when it comes to papa…” This was crossing my mind a lot. Because (maybe it’s just the translation) if she was referring to them having different fathers, wouldn’t she say something like “He and I do have some things in common… at least when it comes to our fathers”. See what I mean?
Bolt's necklace. Could it be similar to Sakura's necklace that was sketched with her character design for The Last Movie?
A lot of people say that Bolt's name is a tribute to Neji. However, it could just as well be a tribute to Minato.
Sakura bears a striking resemblance to Kushina. What's the point of that if she's not even with Naruto?
On the page that serves an advertisement for the New Era, you can see the silhouette of Minato, Naruto and Bolt. No Himawari? Could be nothing, but it is worth noting.
Drawbacks:
Both Bolt and Himawari have whisker marks (see how this always comes into play?)
Uchiha whatever on the book shelf. Although it’s been mentioned that if that was related to SS, why hide it? Also it could be argued that Sasuke gave it to Naruto and Sakura to keep with them until they can give it to Sarada when she grows up and wants to learn of her heritage or something.
IT Theory
Now I don’t want to say much about this because I’m sure Chatte’s going to come up with something amazing on this front. All I will mention are two things that have been pointed out besides the OOC of characters.
One of them is the final page, with the IT eye being shown.
Another is the fact that the Kyuubi is shown sleeping. How does this mean anything? Remember when Kurama lent Naruto the last of his chakra to fight Sasuke, he said he would be going to sleep and couldn’t help Naruto? What was the significance of having that happen? What was the significance of showing the Kyuubi sleeping? Is he still sleeping from that time? If so, isn’t that a bit too long to be sleeping? It could indicate that a lot of time hasn’t actually passed and in extension, this reality, this epilogue, is IT.
Toneri x Hinata
Support for the theory:
Himawari bears a resemblance to Toneri (especially the eyes)
It seems that Toneri is trying to have a wedding ceremony with Hinata in The Last Movie
If Naruto is somehow related to Bolt having whisker marks, it could be argued that Toneri, if married to Hinata, could have something to do with Himawari's whisker marks (he seems to be a Jinchuriki of some time -- possess a cloak not unlike Naruto's Kyuubi cloak)
Drawbacks:
He's portrayed as a villain in the movie although everyone's aware that not every villain in Naruto stays a villain.
Himawari has a brother, it should be someone who's already been depicted in the manga, but no one else who resembles Toneri was in 700.

Canadian_DJ and I have been working on a theory as well just yesterday.
In a nutshell we believe that due to Bolt being genetically impossible to be Hinata`s offspring and the whiskers also not being an inheritable trait, and with Salad being so simmilar to Karin, Kishi was forced into this. Ive even read somewhere that Kishi`s assistants did the actual work on 700. So its likely that he wrote NH and SS to be not completely confirmed out of protest.
So I belive that if we are going to get to the bottom of this we have to figure out what happened and why. Sadly i have no japaneese language skills. But if you need something, im on it.
