Does his editors really not tell him what's going on with his fanbase? I guess they really are the ones who told him that Naruhina and Sasusaku were more likable. All it takes is that one person who'll have the guts to ask him questions that can't be avoided, like:
"Why is it that Hinata's role in the story regressed to a love interest instead of her becoming the ruler of her clan" or "Why is it that Sakura didn't pursue a career in the medical field and instead married a guy who abused her several times"
And if someone dares to say what we can only think, then Kishimoto could very well fall even more than he already has. If I were him I would stay far away from any conventions for a long time. Like, this is such a bad idea who would let him do this.
