Seriously Naruto? Only surprising thing is Sasuke says so too.

I really didn't like Sasuke's reason for killing Naruto and his idea of  Hokage. I know they say don't dwell on the past but you don't have to completely erase it. This is obviously setting up for Sasuke to be convinced by Naruto later on so whatever. Well, I hope the battle is better than the one in part 1. And please, no more flashbacks Kishi.

Edit:Also what the heck is up with that untranslated page?  MP has done this before.

Well pretty standard stuff, least it's on plot and no chaos this week. Basically stuff we were expecting and just waiting to be said exactly.

Now that one page they forgot to translate...

Yeah this series is not going to end by the movie release time, don't know why people expected this when this year alone had the first part with naruto and Sasuke needing to recover then facing Madara into kagyua, these alone took up about half the year. It's now upon the last fight and it's only started and we are in October now, so yeah it will go into next year a bit.

Alright...so....

I finally get what Sasuke really is trying to do and more and more he has become this anti-villain. He wants to do the right thing, but he is going about it the wrong way. Sasuke wants to be the darkness himself that everyone hates, but are ruled under because this way everyone has a common enemy that they hate. It is actually a rather logical way of looking at things, but it isn't the right way. It's basically creating peace through fear and not love. Like what Machiavelli said "It is better to be feared than loved," but this is not true. If you have the people on your side you have even more strength than before. It is better to be loved than feared.

So Sasuke does want to do a good thing, but he is willing to be evil to accomplish it. Which is something Itachi didn't want. Itachi should have been Hokage? I guess, but Itachi believed in something that the Uchiha never would have followed. Problem is, power corrupts and so Sasuke has been corrupted by it. He really has become no better than Madara.

One thing I still don't like is the stupid "I want to kill naruto because he is my best friend" stuff. It feels so cringe-y.

On another topic, anyone else think the next chapter might be a flashback chapter to the first battle? I'm betting it'll end with them leaping off the two noggins of their predecessors.

Thoughts

Well, I'm glad this chapter had nothing to do with shipping, thank goodness, but the hardcore shippers will find something to extract from it, and it's taken fifteen years, but we're finally getting the showdown we deserve.

Poor Sakura though... knocked out and being pushed off to the side as always. :(

Which doesn't mean anything....They will head over there at some point to atleast find out if they can save one of them

My Thoughts

 

Am I the only one who finds Sasuke's logic to be flawed when he says that a Hokage must be able to bear all hatred and that he would be able to do it? Not only has he been completely immersed in it- Granted, I still defend how he's ended up the way he has, to a certain extent.- but he seems to forget that Naruto made the promise of bearing Sasuke's hatred before. Yeah, by that logic, Naruto would still be a more suitable candidate for Hokage. Or am I missing something?

 
Either way, it's just as expected. Sasuke still hasn't been able to shake off Naruto's influence in his life, so he's decided to resort to extreme methods to cut the last [and only] bond that could possibly deter him from achieving his goals.
