I don't really ship pokemon couples anymore...I mean the characters are basically minors at this point and its weird to me. I think Pokemon missed an opportunity to make Ash a teen in Pokemon Journeys. He could have been a mentor to Go which would give the series a new life span.

 

I just know redemption will come in the future though. A lot of people are still wondering WHY Naruto and Sakura didn't end up together and you will find a lot of people questioning it as time goes by. In the words of Katy Perry, "Time is the ultimate truth teller". I don't even want a remake for the series cause I'm not going to invest my time into just to see NS happen when it could have happened the first time. I just want the truth to come out at this point and prove that Kishimoto and the studio are dirty liars. 

They have been resetting Ash since at least Black/White if not Ruby/Sapphire. Expecting any relationship to occur between Ash and anyone else is pointless. It took 20 years for Brock to get a girlfriend with the Kahuna Olivia and he was a rarely seen side character for years by that point. If you like Ash with a certain girl fine, but accept that after she leave the group another girl will likely take her place and she will be reduced to cameoing.  

 

Nothing will come out that hasn't already come out through slip ups until after Boruto ends. What we know. Kishimoto was convinced by his editors over the years that Sakura was unpopular and that he should go with the more beloved Hinata. Yes, we all know that's false person who is going to comment on that. He was so reluctant about the change, had so little confidence in writing a romance once they told them NS sucked, or lacked off interest towards Hinata (who he stated didn't get why people liked her.) He left it to the last minute. Ultimately, leaving the anime staff to handle the romance...and handle it they did. Handle the franchise into the ground

I doubt that will ever happen it has almost been 10 years since the ending. Kishi and co will stick by Boruto until the end of time.

Even if Boruto ends up cancelled at some point I think that will be the end of anything Naruto related for good.

Personally, the only thing I know that's even trying to "rebuild" Naruto from the ground up is my own original work of "Mages of the North". It's not a perfect book and was never really written to be serious, but if you TRULY want another shot at a NS relationship, this book is probably your best bet. If I see there's enough people wanting more then I'll continue on with the series and put more effort into my writing.

 

I don't mean to advertise this book all the time, but it's hard to resist the urge when it does become relevant.

Oh my point wasn’t really about shipping (although I still hold the potential of it close to me) lol my point was Ash And Misty fought all the time before they became much closer, and That was what Sakura was being set up for which is why being against her being Naruto’s best friend, much less his love interest because she was mean spirited towards him at the beginning is idiotic because it is prevalent in manga and anime especially starting in the late 90s and early 2000s

On the topic of redemption for the entire series, well it may come eventually, but I’m not expecting anything to change even if it did. Sure it may feel good at the moment when karma strikes and the fact that NS was buried under bias and ignorance comes to light, but it will never numb the betrayal of 2014 of the or the pain that we wasted so much of our time on a frachise that tried to pull the wool over our eyes and lie to us saying we were reading everything wrong all for the sake of a cop out/ majorly under developed ship that is nothing but the wet dreams of otakus

BUT he won't do that because he's too afraid to come out and admit he made a mistake, plus he's too far down the rabbit hole of believing he did the right thing, so yeah.

I got into the story via toonami but the NS part came after i read the narusaku manifesto the perspective of the relationship as a long slow walk which was buillding to a final destination worked for me, and the stories elements from there were more visible as a richer story

There something else missing: NINJA action scenes! All this time after, I think the Pain Arc, everything was near DBZ-like fights.

Yeah, Naruto has a lot to fix than just NS. 

 

IF there ever was a remake I would prefer Sakura get proper treatment than her being shipping bait. At this point, fanfiction does such an amazing job with this. The only thing I don't like about fanfic is the need to make Sakura this edgy character ( i mean its ff but eh...)

If naruto were to do a reboot the safest bet would probably to not do any pairings at all so they don't lose fans like they did in 2014. With just leaving it open ended. Kinda like how they did in their what I'd filler if naruto parents were alive.

Or make a multiverse with different couples in each one.

I would prefer he just write the story how he wanted to write it. NS becoming canon. Naruto becoming the Hokage the right way and achieving the piece he wanted. I dont think he should shy away from the pairings, if hes consistent with what hes writing and he stays strong; he should be alright. Just put his foot down. And write it how he wanted it. Also, I dont think he should even touch anything before the Pein fight. Everything after, he could reboot that.
