I didn't expect him to be like that , and after watching it reluctantly , i was like wow. So that is just night before his hokage inauguration. Even though he said that , i mean he doesn't look like someone whose looking forward to be hokage , isn't that suppose to be a big day for him 12 years dreaming to become one??. Usually people got nervous when there's big day coming up , and that makes them can't sleep , not drunk himself!?. What if hes late ? drunk people always overslept and late. Eh i don't know what to say anymore i'm speechless. His friends looks like encourage him to drink , i mean as friends you suppose to reminds each other not to drink too much right??

There are episodes where Homer actually sacrifices to help his kids. Naruto would never do that kind of kitten. Like Homer sold his tickets for the Duff Blimp to enter Lisa in a beauty contest so that she could feel better about herself.

 

I can'\t imagine this new Naruto being willing to embarrass himself as Hokage, or something, just to help his kids with a problem. They seem so peripheral and unimportant to him.

Agreed. Homer has proven, in spite of his numerous flaws, that he loves his family at the end of the day(the guy was willing to make an enemy of God when he found out that he ascended into Heaven without his family). And unlike Drunkuto, Homer does try to make time for his wife and children. And while Marge has a high tolerance for Homer's shenanigans and negligence, she's reached her boiling point on several occasions and laid him out(and tends to listen to her when it gets that bad). That extends to her children as well.  

 

You will never see that from Drunkuto and Hinata-hime.

Well, to me, it was to explain why Naruto always slept on the couch and not with his "loving and busty wife who did everything for him." At least, this was SPs explanation, but this was when we said Naruto was an alcoholic and all the pro-enders didn't believe us.

In a way, or at least in my way, this is SP cutting off their leg so they don't shoot themselves in the foot.

Us: "Naruto is an alcoholic"
SP: "No, he isn't."

Us: "Why is Naruto always sleeping on the couch and never with his wife?"
SP: "Cause he drinks all night, gets home, and slumps on the couch."
Us: "I thought you said he wasn't an alcoholic."
SP: "Ummm...."

And before anyone says, I say this happens often because when Himawari comes down and sees him on the couch, she comments that this is happening "...again?" So, to me, this kind of incident happens often.

So SP has a choice to pick one...either Naruto loves sleeping on the couch cause he works late which means he doesn't like to be with his family, Naruto drinks all night and then comes home which means he doesn't like to be with his family, or Naruto doesn't like to sleep with his wife Hinata.

No matter what you can argue...he just doesn't like being with his family....so cutting off your leg so you don't shoot yourself in the foot. Trying to explain Naruto's behavior to convince us that he loves his family, but in reality makes the explanation even worse.

Exactly, and it can also make Homer much better than even Peter Griffin in Family Guy, since Homer loves ALL his kids equally, even having all those pics of Maggie at work to remind him of why he went back to the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant even if he didn't want to.

 

You see how it is too with Hinata she doesn't have a boiling point, considering she was willing to get on Boruto's case about him getting pissed at Naruto, and let's face it, as bratty as Boruto is, he had a right to be since Naruto didn't even seem to think coming to Himawari's birthday himself was important enough, which is BS on Hinata's part to defend Naruto, which is why I feel she FAILS as Naruto's "lover" since she doesn't do anything to keep him in check or grounded.

Honestly, it is why I have always felt Hinata is more in love with Naruto's ideals than the person himself since she didn't even allow herself to let him be happy as The Last showed when it seemed like he had a girlfriend already, making her a hypocrite (as she already was since after the war she said she'd give up chasing him, both literally and figuratively, yet she didn't), or how she spoke with him before his match with Neji in the Chunin Exams.

 

If anything, it also shows she loves his ideals and not the man himself when it comes to how she was during  Naruto's matches in the Chunin Exams, especially when it came to Neji hitting Naruto with the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms as well as when Obito/Tobi kicked him once as well as his fight with Pain/Nagato, given that Nagato needed Naruto alive to extract Kurama, and she didn't care about that, just assuming it was over and thus had to be selfish which she admitted just to confess and thus making Naruto feel bad, given though he would have snapped if anyone else jumped in, as we've said, except for You-Know-Who who just keeps insisting we're reading it wrong and only she is right. And we can't forget how she wanted Neji's spirit to protect Naruto just because she didn't have the guts to go after him when he was dying after Kurama was removed from him.

 

If anything, the one person that always, even when she claimed to hate him, believed in Naruto, protected his dream, and helped him when he truly needed it the most, even before the ending made it seem as if she didn't do it for any other reason but herself (hence why it is a travesty and a DISGRACE!!!!!) was Sakura Haruno. Sakura had gone out of her way, without any chakra from Kurama or even some of her own, to save Naruto, which is a true testament of love, since she had been by his side for so long and genuinely cared for him.

Now I now why there was that horrible ending and pairings that were inexplicable! Well, that is until I realized what was in front of me the entire time...Naruto is an alcoholic!

Couldn't agree more, if Hinata truly loved Naruto she sure as hell wouldn't be moping because she THINKS (not even knows, christ) , she THINKS that Naruto is wearing a scarf made by his girlfriend, how insecure you've gotta be, seriously?
It's really noticeable that something went horribly wrong with this series after the pein arc, Hinata's little character suffered too, she went from someone who altough commited a very selfish and stupid action to confess to his crush was happy that the peson for him that the person he loves and is more close hugged him, to a selfish, childish, ungrateful little kitten that doesn't care about anything else other than being Naruto's wife, she didn't care about her sister, she didn't care about his cousin, she didn't care about her village, she didn't care about the mission from the movie, she never even cared that the world was in danger, she just cared about banging Naruto and nothing else, and it shows, and it sad, it's very sad, because she could've been a great character but she just became the embodiment of giving fanservice instead of telling a story besides being a character archetype I hate with all my strength and now, because of her (and the idiots who thought this was a good idea) makes me dislike characters that remind me of her.
