Honestly, from reading the interview, I'm mainly assuming that Kishi finally gave in to Anti's and is now starting to hate Sakura as character. I'm shocked he hadn't said that he regretted her character yet. Honestly, the hate for Sakura is unbelievable in this fandom. It really got to the point where even the creator has some sneaky remarks about her. Kishi know full well that Sakura is a heroine, but what's the point in convincing a fandom where majority could care less about her.

 

What made it worst for me was reading some of NH's responses towards this interview. Most are actually glad that Sakura is considered as on par to Kiba, and how NH was always the main love story since the beginning. Where? And being happy that a character needed to be shafted for your pairing's sake? This only makes me dislike NH even more.

No, I'm pretty sure he said that at one point. He at least regretted that he couldn't get the fanbase to like the character that was based off his wife, and even brought up that he once got some mail from a twelve year old that said she hated sakura.

 

Of course they do. First off they just want to be right about something for once in their lives. Second since they see Sakura not as her own character, but as a representation of all the girls that have friendzoned them then dated other men. What kishi is doing when he is bashing Sakura is for the nH fans is publicly calling a girl they hate a slut and a kitten.

Not to stir much off topic, but due to all the Sakura hate pandering from Kishimoto's interview and NH feedback, I've always wondered, what do the so called pro SS fans think on the Sakura hate? Are any of them genuinely defending her character? NH fans always favor and defend Hinata as a character, do the SS fans do the same for Sakura? Do you think they truly care about her or do you think they just care for Sakura as a self-insert to get with Sasuke?

It varies from what I've seen. Some are just "softcore nH fans in disguise," who don't hate Sakura but do want her out of the way; so Hinata can get what she rightfully deserves. Others use her as an insert so they can can have sex with Sasuke. So the former probably don't care or agree with nH fans, while the latter are probably upset.

Yeah, the fact that he keeps going back to the shipping, over and over, even when there's a new family, new characters and a new plot? He knows on some level that he tricked his fans. It would not surprise me if they revisited the original series someday with NS in mind.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. That NH is about Hinata, and SS is about Sasuke. Neither pairing puts Naruto or Sakura first. 

 

Unfortunately, the ones who ship NH see a lot more of Hinata in the story than there actually was. But for those who shipped SS, there was enough to justify that ship. And not just that Sakura seemed to have an impact on him earlier in the story. No, the story revolves around Sasuke. Even Naruto follows him around. So why not Sakura too? So when you think SS, then NH becomes a token relationship. Ties up a lot of loose ends.

 

Sadly though, the ending made sure that SS did not steal NH's thunder, by making SS a marriage in name only, and certainly not a love match. Or at least, not that we know of. Sakura and Sasuke are still the same, now just married. So by default it makes NH the primary couple. Not because they are the best couple, have the most development or are best suited for one another. But only because they pushed Sakura back to where she was in the beginning of the manga (a civilian chasing a ninja), and made Naruto's goals and 'never give up' motto disappear.

Except they aren't. They have said time and time again that they were Goku fans, not Superman fans, but Superman would win because his story type is not the same as Goku's. I don't know how many times they have to say this for people to believe them.

They looked at both characters at maximum potential and every ability known to fans. People can assume Goku can bench press a planet if he wanted, but until he actually does do so, there is no way to tell. This is the problem. Goku's feats are not defined, but Superman's is.

Besides, they used fanboys and fan sites from both Goku and Superman to gauge their characters. If anything, people need to look to the Dragonball Z fan themselves for providing the information on Goku himself. This is what people forget. The Dragonball Z fans themselves gave all the info to Screwattack for those battles.

Superman is just a monster at full potential. There is no biased in anyway. It is probably the one of the only Death Battles that is accurate.

Unless you want to believe Naruto can beat Goku simply because "he struggles more."

Like I keep telling people, unless I see Goku be at least 9 times faster than light, being able to lift multiverses, and smart enough to outsmart 5th dimensional Imps.....I doubt he can hold a candle to Superman.

Ria and I talked about the missed oppertunities Kishi had when it came to Part 2 of the manga, and one of the few things we both talked about is what if at the start of the timeskip Sakura could use some kinda ninjutsu that's similar to Bloodbending from Avatar The Last Airbender.. I think that it would've been interesting.

I think it's very likely that he will do NS in his next manga, but of course, not the same persons and names.

Like most of the manga created, making the hero and the heroine like Naruto and Sakura then Kishimoto continues like what he wanted to do with them in Naruto manga.

 

The thing is he has to start with this manga like heck already XD

Agreed superman is a better character even if he is a boy scout like captain America. Like to see naruto debate why hinata, sasuke and Naruto could beat superman and lose there minds when those three lose.

Honestly if he did this I doubt it will draw many fans back in (I know I wouldn't) unless they read online somewhere for free. The only I can any self respecting Narusaku ever getting back into the series is if Kishimoto publicly apologises and confess he gave into The editors and studios demands and forced him to do NH. Even then that maybe a huge if for fans as I doubt anyone trusts him now and he'd have to undo alot of the garbage he did even before 699 & 700 for what he did to Sakura and the series at large.

Honestly having Naruto and Sakura focus on saving Sasuke as their main goal in part 2 rather than a side goal was very problematic as it eventually lead to Sakura being sidelined until team 7 related stuff happened. Instead it should of just had them travel across lands meeting other jinjuriki so that they may help Naruto control the nine tails or help them battle the akatsuki, with Sakura finding a way to help her tame the nine tails when it rampages again given her interest with wood release after Naruto's 4 tails rampage mode in the new team 7 arc.
