Every time this scene bought up, I saw some old flame strongly ignite.  I just remind that because that flame help a lot us, without that flame defeat NS in pairing war just dream.  Suddenly NH rise have the process, and some of NS made the process goes forward more smoothly.

 

Rocci, both of manga made for Japan kid and preteen.  Don't forget that Japan is a conservative country so they expect their kid to be conservative too.

How would you guys view that fight as a step towards NaruHina?

I have not read the manga(school and stuff :/) but how does the manga version of the fight compare to the anime version? Are there any specific, small differences that can completely change the interpretation of the fight(as a fight for love or stupidity,etc). 

And I am new to this forum, I have read through this forum for the fun of it and today I decided to join, if this topic was discussed before, please don't rasengan me

NH is very much developed by Studio Pierrot fillers. In The Last movie, a big part of their development goes back to their childhood scenes, first shown in the anime Pain's fight where little Naruto saved little Hinata from school bullies. It's quite an inconceivable idea that a heiress, let alone a child who has been kidnapped by Cloud village, would be left alone. Also manga teenage Hinata is shown to be accompanied by a Hyuga bodyguard when Pain strike, so the silly fillers in the anime Pain fight did play an important role for that ship.

I've posted about this a lot so some of you are probably sick of this, but it would have been so very easy for Kishi to make NH a legitimate, believable romance. There are the seeds there in Part I for a good, developed pairing. By developing Hinata as a character and having her follow through on her desires from Part I (Prove herself to her father, fix her clan, earn Naruto's respect) you not only enrich and grow her character but the relationship, too.

 

If you gradually show Hinata's growth, then the fight against Pein isn't a suicide run, but a powerful moment that really DOES reflect the strength of the characters and the pairing.

I just wish Kishi had gone this route instead of retconning and reaching to legitimize your ships at the end.

This is shonen and in shonen tsundere practically rule, you said it yourself that you tired of it.
If kid and pre teen is conservative like you said, then why in onepiece and many other shonen manga out there the ideal Japanese girl aka Hinata type never become number one popular female character?

She should move on just like many character, but in this kind of story you need confirmation to do that.
What we do to Hinata and sakura is the same with anti NS(ss, nh, and the other) to naruto. They said that naruto doesn't sakura anymore. We know that it's not true because kishi for whatever reason never kill naruto feeling to sakura even with sakura fake confession. That's why when chapter 700 happen, people ask how? And sp provide it with the answer that should not become the answer and kishi just go along with it.

The peak of romance of this manga is naruto confession. The fact that kishi doesn't make it only show how bad an already awful story.

Some of NS already flame this scene for years in every anime/manga forum and attract flame from current naruto fanbase, do you not tired saw this ?  Too bad since I believe NS have abilities to flood net with fan-art or fan-fic, based on my experience it more effective to got convert by art and fanfiction despite destructive of canon moment.  Due member persistent concentration on art, we got this and this.  

 

Kishi made Naruto as youngster while end it as parent, most of Japan parent want his child became conservative or at last understand Japan value.  Don't forget that Japan lead by conservative government for years too.
