Maybe Orochimaru? I mean, he did make the guy's immortality dream come true. Not to mention, Orochimaru doesn't suffer any backlash for all the horrible things he did.

Who's Kishi's second golden child? I say second because we all know Sasuke is number 1. What I mean is what character has been treated amazingly compare to all others. Example like Hashirama retconned Hiruzen and became God of Shinobi and regarded to be the strongest of them all.

Like sasuke? No one.

For hype character borderline Mary Sue, burito, salad, mitsuki or that sasuke expy.

I never saw hiruzen as the strongest Shinobi, even in part one.

If there was any sense of an honest and even-handed justice system in this series then practically every villain to trudge onto the scene would be in chains for decades as a minimum sentence or dead. Even the ones whom you could describe as having a moral framework that overlaps the accepted notions of right and wrong have still killed, persecuted, or fought for those who seek to undermine the health and livelihood of others at one point or another. I would have no qualms with someone like Orochimaru whose crimes have absolutely no moral justification that have impacted thousands in such horrific and repugnant ways being executed. That man is a monster, pure and simple, and the fact that an elected official like Naruto who is sworn to protect the well-being of the people in Konoha and act as a role model for human decency would not only turn a blind eye to Orochimaru's actions, but openly correspond with him according to what some here have said should be grounds for impeachment and prosecution.

Yes, and for a hero-based story, where the true golden boy (Naruto) is never tested, never challenged, in fact largely sidelined in his own plot, it really revolves around the villains more than the true heroes.

 

We know the backstories of all the villains. We're treated to filler arcs where they are in some way redeemed, or at least shown in a sympathetic light, before they die. Kishimoto, and his handlers, are in love with the villains. 

 

When he should have delved deeper into Naruto's character/storyline/backstory, Kishimoto dropped Naruto to focus on Obito, Sasuke and Madara. 

 

So it doesn't surprise me that Naruto has turned a blind-eye to Orochimaru. The whole story is geared toward accepting and idolizing the villains. Naruto is just following suit. You're right, he absolutely should be impeached or at least shamed. But since the bad guys are the true heroes, Naruto's behavior has become acceptable.

They will never agree that they are in the wrong, that I agree with. But the fact that they do make profit is why perhaps (no matter how small) the can add NS moments or even an alternate ending. They can still keep canon ending, but they offer a what if type of ending. That way all fandoms are happy in a sense. And even if they didn't, they can offer NS moments between ch 699-700. NH dosen't become canon until after the last. They can still offer moments that we can include into our fanfictions or fanart, like with RtN and some NS fillers. Some people in SP also ship NS. What I'm saying is that they might reach out to gain more money. I don't believe that they will come to NS when the franchise is dead, because there's the chance that they'll drop it altogether if there is another manga that will raise money. Rather they do it as a way to make more before the franchise dies.  

 

Stop it your making me sick! Why would you want NS moments when in the end it will still end up as NH? that would be cruel and upsetting to the fans if they cameback to just rub it in are faces. Alternate ending or nothing at all!!
