For those who are in for IT theory - one major bug is in. There is no one to beat to disspell one if it was true, they already beat a guy who casted it, anilmal that casted it was divided, alien that wanted it and it's family already went down, moon was cut it two. So nothing that was used for cast - is availible to destroy.
 
Genjutsu could be ended by two things - chakra from outside (or beats), special eyes, Naruto don't have eyes, but have beast, and those who has them eyes - didn't do two things about anything (forget that there is no indication in here for IT to be on, just a shіtty writing skills). So if Naruto won't rip off eyes of Sasuke or Sarada to implant in himself, there is nothing that will dispell this "3.0 IT".
 
And if there a possibility of bringing end to NH-fest - it for sure be an asspull, and it's totaly not planned in future for now. Changing NH to NS won't do anything good for this doomed franchise.

I attend to agree with the IT theory on other forums that believes Sasuke has cast his entire team in the IT, leaving to rule the world alone.

My greatest dream is that Kishi defects to a different animation studio and pulls a Kojima of some sort, saying SP and his colleagues were holding him back from releasing the True Naruto Ending which is NaruSaku

The problem is Naruto still sells well whether we like it or not. The reason why Boruto is now getting a manga adaption is because of the the high reception of the Boruto movie. Then you have gaiden which sold over a million copies in Japan alone. We still need to remember that yes we have people who sees flaws like we do, but there is also the pro-Enders, and so far they do make up a decent portion of the fandom. They are selling to them now.

 

example would be itachi. It was confirm due to the high popularity of his novel, and character overall, that we are getting an anime adaptation of the novel after this filler arc, so we are probably not going to get any confirmation of the ending until late August at the least. 

 

They are also animating NH family as a special for Boruto and SP released NH photos they animated. Even though I carry hope, I still will be disappointed anyway because we will be going through a lot of NH moments and well as stupid fillers to get an NS ending.

There is fans who don't like the ending and there is fans who are okay with the ending and there is the neutral fans who don't gives a kitten about the ending and just cares about the fights

At this moment SS and NH are very much more popular than NS, it's almost so much popular as sasunaru then doing everything being a genjutsu is a very dangerous movement for the series because it will not just piss off a big part of fandom (SS and NH fans) but also sasunaru fans who liked the movie and every fans who spreent their money in the last volume 72 novels gaiden movie and all pro-ending stuff which SP sold to people in events

I guess kishi really needs to be a genious to make everything being a genjutsu without losing almost all fans of series

But since he has enough money to all his life he could just come out, reveal everything as a genjutsu and leave the series die but with a worthy ending

It's why I view an alternate ending as a more likely outcome that genjustu, imho, because that would appeal to all fandoms. Also there has been at least of couple of anime that had a different ending compared to the manga, so it's not impossible. SP already changed a lot of canon moments, so I feel like the ending would also be different. Only hardcore NH/SS shippers would be mad, but I feel that the majority wouldn't mind because they have another ending they could follow if they hate the manga. And SP wouldn't lose money.

But the difference with the western fan base is that even the general fans favors NH all because of Hinata.

If I remember well in sakura novel ino asks sakura how her is going to avoid all men  (sakura is one of the most famous women in the village and has a lot of fanboys) and ino asks about a guy who gave sakura a letter and sakura says he accepted well the fact she is waiting for sasuke

maybe it's a refference to this guy ?

It's unlikely that NS will be canon material because of Shuiesha and WSJ if he redoes the ending. The best thing he can submit his manga is through doujinshi. Not even Shuiesha can touch that. With an apology, all he has to do is use the same RTN interview that he stated that what he wrote in the RTN movie, he could not do in the manga and many people will beleive him for that, even if the still hate him.

What are people's stances on this now? I still think something is up in boruto (a big plot twist) and hope that it is the IT theory that happens. I mean at this point I don't have much to lose, I can't be as dissapointed as how the real ending occurred. The IT/genjutsu theory or maybe back in time???? (Boruto being like future trunks from DbZ from a destroyed world) I would love it to happen, although I know it probably be a poor business decision. It would make things really interesting though. Boruto can't just be a repeat series. Plus the scene in he first episode/manga makes me believe they already have the basics planned out

I don't know about Boruto...but I still wonder if they might go back and resurrect the old series one day with the genjutsu theory. It's too easy, and it's already explicitly written into the plot with Obito/Tobi stating that that was his ultimate goal. As much as they have recycled characters from Akatsuki back into the series, it's not hard to think that they wouldn't go back and reboot the series after Boruto runs it's course. Like in conjunction with some Naruto anniversary or something.

 

I think as long as there's still interest in the series, there will always be the prospect that they will revisit the old characters/plot. And right now, it's still a series that brings in cash/readers/viewers.

well let me put it this way. If id been in charge id have had my NaruSaku cake and eaten it too.

 

Id have launched a side series similar to borotu but with it clearly stated that its happening in Hinatas dream world. The whole thing would be one giant dream and a nod to NH fans.

 

The real story would be Shinachiku and company next gen stories.

I think if the sales of these next generation really low , which is surely but slowly dropping for now , they will make that all of these boruto and next generation stuff is just an IT and go back to before the ending. But for now they just do everything they ever dream of with boruto , all i can think about boruto is , pedophile sexualize salad , boruto is kitten disrespectful annoying brat , naruto and sakura miserable life , all character is out of character , sumire is a result of hinata mix with rin , another kitten eye power add with ghost story , all the dream and self insert. Personally i don't think it's even worth thinking anymore , there's Attack on Titan , there's Shokugeki no Soma if you looking for good shonen with good storyline. If you have free time try to browse your favorite manga website there are tons of manga. Recently i found a good manga when i browse in mangapanda , it think the name is Cradle of Fire or something i forgot , it's a horror manga about a group of students try to survive zombie outbreak on a cruise ship similar to Highschool of the Dead , it has good drama betrayal friendship trust romance , i think it was very good far better than these .... , you guys should check it out.

True it is really easy with genjutsu. If it continues to get worse they can easily Redo it with that and call it non cannon or something like other amines have done. Either way they have continued to do a poor job, I'm dissapointed naruto and others are OOC and kitten, but aside from the hardcore NH/SS fans that no matter what say everything is fine, im a little pleased they have kind of kitten on then too with the poor family dynamics haha. Everything is so off though and feels like such a turn, I'm still thrown off. I don't think they realized how many NS fans they had (idt many NS fans realized it either) or just fans of a coherent story. Like I said in my intro topic I didn't even look up anything NS until I knew the ending because I was so thrown off.

Also I don't remember if it was here, but if I remember correctly I heard in an interview boruto was plan B and in a different article the writers were actually thinking about a reboot before they decided boruto. So it would make sense if they came back
