She's irrelevant but she's also a horrible person. Hinata is a selfish kitten that doesn't care about anyone expect herself.

When her cousin died saving her life she cried a bit, and as soon as she got what she wanted. She forgot he even existed.

When Naruto was dying she abandoned her friends and decided the best way to pray for Naruto's well being is to pray to a dead guy that she doesn't even care about.

 

Every time when she could've been there for Naruto, she chose to ignore him entirely. Even when she saw in how much pain that kid was. She still didn't care. But as soon as she saw an opportunity to confesses her crush she took it, not because she wanted to help Naruto because she didn't do anything to help him. She did what was best for her. She never cared about Naruto or anyone.

That is apathy. And apathy is death. Worse than death.

You know the way hinata confess, naruto ask katsuyu to told everyone not to interfere/come to help him when he fights pen, but when naruto dying, hinata saw it as 'Naruto about to die i don't wanna die as a virgin, i need to confess my love, but im too shy that everytime i meet him before... i pass out, now theres no one there to see, this is my chance!!'

It really pisses me off to see how many people think that her confession was so perfectly done and it's the best thing ever. And she did it because she loves him and she showed true love. And someone please kill me.

 

If you love someone you show it, you don't say it without showing it. She took her sweet time to confess instead of actually helping the boy she proclaimed she loves. She didn't go there for Naruto, she went there for herself. Because with Hinata it's always about her. Her wish, her desire and her life, and everyone else be damned.

If she really wants to help him she could take a few shinobi with her and go to him. To help naruto she must complete 2 task, defeat pein or at lest hold him and freeing naruto from that chakra rod, its obvious she is no match for pein, she can't do both task at the same time alone, if she smart she at least create 1 bunshin/clone the real her can fight pein while the clone trying to take out that rod from narutos body, even if she didn't help pein will not kill naruto until he extract the kyubi out. Thats why allow me to repeat again, seeing naruto dying is like 'I don't wanna die as a virgin' for her.

Ive seen them answer these things and they will usually say that it wasnt a creepy stalker obsession and that it was cute. i hate it when they do this because they will trash sakura on a her style of caring for her friends, like hitting them, but will gladly defend anything that goes against Hinata. everyone has a bad side to them and just because you want to dissuade people from certain ships you shouldnt be blind to facts no matter how much they contradict yours. i always admit to the facts of Sakuras defects even if i like NS now

Makes me think there should be a "What Would You Do?" bit where unsuspecting pro-enders/NH extremists find themselves tailed by a "stalker" (obviously actors) who then claims to have always admired and watched them and all that Hinata-style crap that those people claim is "cute", including the stuttering and all that, and I'm willing to bet that a majority of those people will NOT find it cute if that happened to them in real life, but would indeed find it creepy, disturbing, and probably even call those people losers and such unless they're extremely beautiful and/or rich and such, thus revealing their complete hypocrisy (as usual).

Yeah, it's just self-insertion is what it is for NH and SS, dude. Mostly because some guys want a girl like Hinata (even if it's unrealistic... >_> I mean, I like some shy girls, don't get me wrong, but that's the limit...) and some girls want a boy like Sasuke, so they imagine themselves as Naruto or Sakura, which is tragic, since as you said, it's more believable, given the development, the fact Naruto and Sakura started off rocky, but grew to have such strong feelings for each other, especially on Sakura's end that she was willing to do a lot for Naruto, even have him hate her when she wanted to kill Sasuke.

And here I thought teen-Hinata was bland.  She actually had a bit of character before - bad character, but character nonetheless. She's now nothing more than a smiley face and the most relevant thing about her is her uterus.

Even her backstory was much more about Neji than herself. All we got from we is, "I want to change the Hyuga Clan", but like Naruto and such, no plan on how to actually do it and then just giving up on it.

Some of it is, man, though I mostly look into the NS section for fan art and stuff. X-P Then I got these haters unable to handle criticism for Hinata. If you wanna reblog what you want about that guy, Nostradamus, knock yourself out.

I honestly don't know why people even feel the need to defend Hinata. The people that are supporting the new generation were fans of her anyway, so why does our opinion matter to them?
