I could be wrong but i see it as something cultural maybe? Ergh that isnt the right term but its hard to explain i detail right now lol. But in my family and so are my friends we usually dont show much affection but it doesnt mean we dont care. Its like embarassing and awkward to act sweet with a sibling.. more like a tsundere actually lol i cant believe im using that term here. But yeah mostly it is perceived that once siblings grew older they will like detach thselves and be closer to their friends instead like its part of growing up. It isnt just in anime or manga. And i dont think anime/manga like this one depicts sibling love as somehing impure. They just describe it in how actual siblings act when growing up. Like starting to get embarass being seen with them its not an act of coldness but just an awkward phase like how we sometimes growing boys or girls will get embarass when seen with their mom . Like they are still a child.


One show that perfectly depict my relationship with my older brother is ccs touya-sakura one. We call each other ugly or some other names, eat each others 'food reserves' etc.. but he still picks me up most if the time even if im already working.

It's not about how the sibling themselves act towards each other, I perfectly understand the whole being embarresed by them thing, I'm the youngest of six, and two oldest sisters embaressed me no end, and my older brother pretty much ignored me at school, that's part of being siblings. I'm not talking about relationships between family, that's an entire topic on its own,

 

The thing is how in Manga and Anime showing they care for their siblings brands them with a derogatory term by other people. Like if you actually show you love your siblings you have inpure thoughts about them, so you have to keep a distance.

Best episode yet. Yu lost one of his eyes, Kugamine died when it should have been those foreign kittens, and Nao was stripped almost completely naked.

Finally watched the latest episode

yea it was good in a way but it makes me not want to watch it anymore...

I mean I've watched worst gore/violence and stuff (even REAL LIFE violence, pure brute and cruelty) and this is not even borderline that but i'm not sure why but i can't watch this one.

 

Maybe i'm just too stressed out so watching something like this totally drains me. i have to go watch Ore monogatari or anything fluffy and light. This was a bad idea.

Good thing a package came and guess whaaaaaaaaatttt!!! its my AOT Levi NENDOROID in his glorious cleaning version and it was kawaii as kitten lol .... i have to wait for the rest of my orders tho.. i just luck out on the levi as it was onhand in our local store the rest are for preorder.. why the hell did i discover action figures now? its burning all my cash lol

He's a bit lonely right now but eren and the others are coming in a week. my local supplier just recommend me some haruno sakura figs and i was tempted to get one but just remembering that horrible apocalypse of an ending.. i tried to restrain myself. I dont want to be reminded of that tragedy everytime i look at my room

I would just listen to music in my room, and make a plan of the things I need to get done. When I'm too stressed I'll tell my teacher about it, and they would give me a day more to make it.

 

I haven't read the manga yet, but I'll do that soon. Have you read it??

So... Out of all the things that I expected to happen, I did not expect to see that Yuu (and I quote from an ANN reviewer) would legit become "Jesus" by taking on all the abilities of every wielder. Ok. Of course this ain't gonna end well.

And that awful love confession in this episode. First Misa with her "Do you have the hots for me?" and now Tomori with her "Is this some sort of romance thing?" You gotta be kidding me. You don't write romance in such a cringeworthy way.

At this point, I don't really care anymore how this show will end. It had its chance, but it just flat out missed it in my eyes.

Good question, lol. But we'll never know..

I enjoyed some parts of this anime. Not really a "must-watch".. it was overhyped too in my part..since i kept on reading and hearing about this legendary person who also made this and that feeltrip anime etc that i dont know much about and this so and so studio who made this and that lol.

But bottomline. I dont regret watching it.
Never ship anyone here too. It felt incomplete and was trying to put so many elements into the story which in my opinion were actually great things but it wasnt given enough time to ripen.

I agree with most of the people here. It needed more episode to flesh out some things.. and they couldve improved that phase where they build up the friendship of the main characters. To me the student council missions werent that effective to make me attached to their bonds.
And the romance thing could have been cut off and i wouldnt care.

Sooo what was the theme or premise of this story again? Live the normal rose colored highschool life like any other normal teen? I could not deny that i am a bit disappointed because this really had great potential. I like the premise in the beginning but the buildup wasnt effective.
