He said "she’s the type that watches him from the shadows". Please someone tell kishi to watch THE LAST NARUTO THE MOVIE, and tell him that HINATA HIME SAMA is the first one who was there for naruto and NOT WATCH HIM FROM THE SHADOW.

this whole thing is studio pierrot, and the editors who didn't want a sakura ending's fault the moment sakura started gaining popularity was the moment kishi was brainwashed into thinking "oh the world hates sakura okay, i'll replace her with hinata!" well, that failed miserably! also,kishi you said you regretted not making sakura popular THEN STOP MAKING HER LOOK BAD IN YOUR INTERVIEWS DUMBBELL! geez

 

we never hear from chie, or junko anymore, well, i haven't read any news on them i guess their brainwashed into silence lol...holy crap SP, and shueisha are brainwashing people, and getting rid of NS fans!

When I read that interview on tumblr, I legit wanted to punch that bastard in the face. Don't really care about Naruto anymore, but the way he talks down on his female characters is sickening. Does somebosy know what NH and SS fans said to this interview?

I think it honestly he has just given up. He not bothering to justify the ending anymore. He know Naruto and his own reputation is ruin so he not bothering .Hinata is just some big busted girl that watch Naruto from the shadow and got to marry him while Sakura isn't in love with Sasuke it is more she has a unhealthy addiction for him.

Dat interview.... incredible, this is not even Kishimoto trying to damage his own work, let's be honest and frank here people, he's not even remotely the type of person who would do that. The truth here is that he's absolutely awful at damage control. He has been trying to find justifications for his plot holes, terrible decisions and inconsistencies and in trying to do so he only worsens the situation with thoughtless words and thinly veiled insults towards his own characters. Incredible.

 

If you noticed, after the last two chapters of Naruto, every time he tries to attempt something (at which he fails spectacularly, and there have not been any exceptions) he comes out with interviews where attempting some form of damage control, he fails even more spectacularly. I don't know whether to find it hilarious or terrifying, but surely I'm baffled by the complete lack of the awareness in realizing he's worsening the situation more and more every time he opens his mouth and speaks thoughtlessly.

 

And I pity Sakura so immensely, she has become the automatic scapegoat, blamed for every wrong decision, the meat shield Kishimoto uses every time he's in a sticky situation be it to compare her in a negative light to Hinata-the-perfectest-princess-that-ever-was (ah oh Naruto is so lucky to have her!! GEH) who's so much better, prettier, so much more femminine and yada yada yada, or just to comment negatively on her flaws (oh Sakura the addict! Eh, I can't write how she and Sasuke got together! Not the heroine! God I hate that man). It's almost as if she was being continuously offended by her father, and this makes me dislike Kishimoto (and by extension Hinata-princess-of-all-she-surveys) even more.

 

He should man up and every time he messes up his own work he should at least have the cojones to suck it up and stand up to his own critics and not to use and diss on Sakura whenever he finds himself neck-deep in a pit of kitten. Coward.

You create a character, develop her, and then not only you destroy her, but you start insulting her. Man the kitten up Kishimoto take your own responsibilities stop finding excuses, and stop using Sakura as a meat shield....
