So if The Last was made for NH, is it safe to assume Gaiden was intended for SS? If so, both did a poor job of genuinely showing the growth and development of the respective pairings. As others have noted, it's blindingly obvious NS was the most supported and logical pairing.

Yeah and the boruto movie is SNS. Naruto and Sasuke adopted eachothers' children that they needed women to make. Now that they're done with them they're back in the trash can, and SNS can go on their brokeback mountain together. It actually reminds me of my classmates who didn't really know eachother, then their mothers married eachother.

 

And YET we are supposed to believe they are still best friends? Tell don't show much?

So the possibility that Sasuke didn't know Sakura was pregnant during that time is high. But when he met salad he knew about her, so that must mean at some point he must have gone to Orochimaru's base and Karin had to have told him.

Or Sakura told him, before he left that she was pregnant and he just didn't care to show up for the birthing. Either way Sasuke should have at least checked in or something, like damn, it takes two to make a baby.( in the narutoverse at least.)

That's not the reason why No-body came. I love how everyone misses the big obvious thing. the Villiage was pushed right back into the side, the battle was going on in the centre and they were all on the outskirts. No one could see clearly what was going on, Hence why Sakura had to ask the Byakugan user what was going and what happened with the seal being unleashed. 

 

As for no aid coming, NH fans overlook one crucial detail. There was a squad of ninja on their way and they were called Team kittening Gai. They arrived moments after Hinata got her smack-down. Not to mention Neiji was already scouting ahead with his Byakugan, either way Pain couldn't have kidnapped Naruto without bumping into them and having a fight on his hands. 

 

If anything Hinata was an absolute embarrassment as a ninja in that. Katsuyu was relaying all the messages and intel Tsunade gathered to everyone, Katsuyu had saved Hinata from the impact but I bet the fact that Pain's power could "theoretically" be countered by focusing Chakra to the feet to steady his pulling and pushing power was overlooked by her. She did displayed no skill what-so-ever and was completely "lol kitten please" stomped. Konohamaru might as well have gone in her place. 

 

They pick on sakura for not rushing to Naruto's aid despite the fact that Sakura's master was currently lying there in a coma and probably extremely weak and frail. When she heard the commotion she asked what was going on. If she knew what was going on why would she ask? makes no sense.

 

Oh also lets not forget how Hinata-hime's role in the actual invasion. While all of Konoha was being rampaged She was probably hiding out in the Hyuga clan district, with her own Bodyguard I might add. How stupid is that. You're home is being attacked and you've not even asked or suggested he go out and save the civilians who are running around dying and losing loved ones. 

 

Her fans belittle Sakura for not taking part in saving Naruto but in reality Sakura behaved a-lot more better and did more than Hinata could. She took down a summoning, took over the hospital and promised protection for it. Meanwhile Hinata-hime sama was locked her castle hoping Pain wasn't going to come for her to get her irrelevant eyes. 

And that just goes right back to showing that Kishi never saw Hinata as a real kunoichi, but still continued to see her as he originally envisioned her - a civilian.
 

 

Imagine if in HP epilogue we had parings such as Draco/Hermione, Harry/Pansy etc. Then JK coming out and telling us we read the story wrong!

 

Or imagine Harry who always wanted a family being a jackass towards his children!

 

I can unerstand Kishi going with this if he got lots of money for it. But in what minds did SP/SJ etc thought this was good?

 

Kishi with his fanboying over Sasuke is also moronic. Look at JK. She didn't like Pansy. She created the char based on girls who were "mean" to her. But even JK didn't went out of her way to screw Pansy over by bashing her over. Same goes for Draco.

 

At the end Kishi is just horrible writer with no selfconfidence what so ever. While being money gree. Add SP/SJ with their delusions. And you get current Naruto.

That's why people compare Kishi and JK, but have far greater respect for JK since she actually came out and admitted that, in hindsight, she could've done things better, including the pairings, when asked about it whereas Kishi just continues to make excuses and lie / follow the lying scripts handed to him by SP and Shueisha..

Reminds me why I liked this manga in the first place . It was all about Naruto  which also contributed to making part 1 better , before it turned into kiss Uchiha ass .  I never liked  Sasuke , I never would have read this if Sasuke had been main character from the start .

Exactly, ever since Naruto ended I've always noticed the similarities between the Naruto ending and the Harry Potter ending for both pairing reasons and the amount of unanswered questions that we as fans have. In both series, you have the main character who ends up being paired with a fan girl who has potential but so little panel/screen time that we know pretty much nothing about her, and then the heroine is paired with a boy/man who has betrayed her multiple times, could have led to her death and picks on/berates her for the smallest things. At least with Ginny in the Harry Potter books, you got to see her personality and attitude much more than Hinata, and even then Ginny was a minor character in all but one book (HBP) while Hinata was a minor character for the entire Naruto series

Harry doesn't love hermione for the entire book. The same goes with hermione.
The similiarity between harry and naruto love triangle is between naru saku sasu & harry cho Cedric. But Cedric and cho already a couple while ss isn't.
You can use snape lily james love triangle.

If its cannon then why on gaiden chapter 8 [correct me if i wrong], when naruto was thinking about his past, iruka was the first person there not hinata?. Isn't in the the last hinata was the first person before iruka who was there for him?

It's canon because they said it's canon, it's the direct follow up, the sequel to the original series, etc

 

but it makes no sense...it retcons a lot of things from the original series in a stupid, forced way...which is even worse considering this movie is canon
