But yet I don't think that's what he wanted to do.
I don't know everything feels forced and that's not the vibe Kishimoto was giving us.

NaruSaku will never happen.
@rocci I still think he was forced to put naruto with Hinata, and that that gaiden was also forced on him. I'm certain he never wanted to write this. IMO he's writing whatever comes to his head to fulfil his work. And I still think he's trying to tell us something. But maybe that's just me.

Don't get me wrong
I still like NS, it's one ( and will forever be one) of my OTP's.
When I remember NS, I will remember the time Naruto had some shred of coherent storytelling and plot, a time where chapters were anticipated not for the reaction it's revelations would bring to the fandom in general but for the implications such revelations would bring to the story itself...
Most of us may not like Naruto at all anymore but we can't deny it was indeed a part of our lives during some point

In my mind there is a very clear division from the Naruto and Sakura from before and what they could've been to the lifeless dolls they turned out to be

How are you so sure ss will happen? sasuke might agree to have a relationship with salad because he feels bad that he abandoned her for 12 years (actually show some human emotions) but I doubt he will suddenly start caring about sakura, or maybe he will just tolerate her for the sake of salad, but I doubt they will be a "happy" family.
