Expressing the exact circumstances behind the return of so many fans who once felt disinclined from supporting or reading anything Kishi writes is hardly "ornamented". I would appreciate it if you didn't apply your notions of other people onto me.

"Treating and viewing" members here using the same pejoratives you just suggested is a tad harsh. However, I don't believe it's appropriate to turn a blind eye and not acknowledge when members from this forum who may have denounced others for flocking back to Kishi's work are doing the same thing under the guise of being "disconnected" from the work. No, if someone had truly removed all interests for this series then they wouldn't be returning to the manga six months later when new content is unveiled. Yes, I might be keeping tabs on a few things from second-hand accounts, but that's mostly to discredit the other side who denounced NS believing that it was a physically abusive relationship.

If pointing this supposed hypocrisy out is irrelevant to you then kindly desist from responding. In fact, you can even place me on your ignore list and I'll gladly extend you the same courtesy.
 

Not even that benchmark seems appropriate for them though. The male spawn has no known contract with the toads. He hasn't even demonstrated that he can use the same basic techniques that Naruto had at that age. His chakra is likely much weaker in amount too since the Uzumaki bloodline has been diluted further. For the girl spawn, she doesn't have access to the Curse Seal or any of the other abilities given by Orochimaru so how can she be compared to Hebi Sasuke or even VotE Sasuke?

Like I said, they'll probably be lucky to surpass their early Part 1 parents.

We only saw Bolt/Salad for one chapter and have no idea what they used we can assume they both learned basic moves from their fathers because Naruto taught Konhomaru Rasengan, and to get the Uchiha Symbol you had to master the Fire Ball Jutsu.

 

I agree that he probably doesn't have high chakra reserves as Naruto but neither did Jiraya but he could use an incomplete SM, and he probably is taught things by his mother if that's possible (considering the doesn't have Byakugan).

CM is just an incomplete SM, Salad could compensate for it by having Slugs or Strength if taught it by Sakura

 

Hey I cringed way back in pt1 when Naruto didn't agree with Jiraiya about leaving Sasuke be. That's when I quit caring about the characters and just kept hoping the story might turn out alright. But since the characters became bigger than the story we got what we got. However I'm honest when I say the bulk of pt1 is why I still hang around.

But Sasuke's his friend, why would he give up on him?

I think they're also listed at 4.0 in the 3rd Databook (a statistic that wasn't contradicted, iirc) There's nothing much that Hinata can teach because she's an incompetent girl who relies on unperfected versions of her clan's abilities for combat. 

 

Slug sage mode? God no. I would sooner accept the non-existence of one than see it offered up to Sasuke's half-assed unworthy brat. As for CES, it took Sakura several years to develop it. The spawn isn't proven to be any more intelligent or capable than she is. Moreover, Tsunade's brand of fighting wouldn't exactly be suitable for the precision and style-oriented methodology of the Sharingan. She's better off trying to accomplish something with ninjutsu since her taijutsu will be inevitably retracted into mediocrity.

I never said he should've given up on Sasuke. I said leave him be. The sheer desperation Kishi wrote into Naruto's character concerning saving Sasuke was just horrible. No orphan who was betrayed like that would believably want to hang on to that bond. They just don't. This was absolute proof that kishi didn't know what he was writing about. He just wrote that Naruto was going to save Sasuke and his bond with him no matter what.

Can we even teach Juuken to someone who doesn't have Byakugan? Juuken is a fighting style based on attacking one's chakra points, and you can't attack them if you don't have the Byakugan. So, Burrito and Himawari have to rely on their father's fighting style.

Did you not read my previous post? These books are little more than trivial non-canonical filler in between the significant events yet their earnings are almost a third of some of the previous films' final revenue. And no, the amount of copies sold alone is not what determines success, it's the profits earned as well that enables these authors and businesses to thrive. If we restricted the scope of success to your highly limited definition then these people may have been let off long ago since their products wouldn't be earning any money.

I am thinking. Every single moment for the past hour has been spent contemplating what your rebuttal is and how I'll respond in kind to it. Is that "thinking" enough for you, ultranx? 

 

The light novel continuations are exactly that, inconsequential additions to the "next generation project" intended to earn some quick money in between the major projects. Why else would they speed up the release of the Sakura novel. They're no more relevant to the overarching plotline than the novelised version of the movies are - both of which happen to convey a story set in the Naruto universe in book format with the clear intention of garnering extra revenue. They're little more than irrelevant drivel that Kishi has made no explicit acknowledgement of besides the sketching of a few characters which, presumably, he did while under contract for the "new era project".

 

These books are written by completely separate authors, presumably licensed by Pierrot, in the universe that the animation studio has created. At best, you could argue that they tie into the anime's timeline, nothing more. And once again, my reference to the sales happens to be factoring in the cumulative total of all the books released so far, not the individual sales which obviously aren't going to equal a portion of the movies' earnings.

Hinata's female spawn fighting? That, I doubt. Does she strike you as the aggressive fighting type? She's certainly not like Hanabi or Kurenai's daughter. Judging by her appearance and temperament, I would be more inclined to believe that she'll go against the flow and remain a civilian. What is it that she can contribute to the plot anyways that can't be handled by Sasuke's spawn? 

 

He has no demonstrable talent, you're right. My comment earlier about his expected level being on par with early Part 1 Naruto is my personal opinion on where he should ultimately end up at.

Doesn't Sakura have the Uchiha crest on her clothing now as well? Using the outdated customs of an almost extinct clan with the only full-blooded Uchiha being gone for long intervals doesn't suggest the spawn being required to learn fire ninjutsu.

About those one shots of Kiba dating that cat girl and the other being about team 7 (it look like before the chunin exam). I could have sworn we heard a few week ago that there was an extra chapter in both of these books and that they were nH for the Naruto one and ss for the Sasuke one unless i'm completely mistaken? By the looks of things I going to guess if that the reception of the two couples has been so poor especially that past few weeks. That people around kishi told him to or kishi decided by himself to focus on something other than those two pairing for those books. So people may actually come to the art exhibition to get them. Team 7 doing team bonding because that always a good fall back, and while Kiba isn't may not be incredibly popular he isn't hated at the moment like Hinata is. But who know maybe the pairing are still in there they just aren't promoting it.

Every picture of Team 7 I've seen after the ending has a deadface Sasuke, an outright creepy Naruto(wtf happened to that charming smile?:( ), and a miserable Sakura with perhaps a fake smile plastered on her.

 

I think Kishi is really angry at the ending too. And I'm sure Chie wouldn't say something as bold as "NS bond is stronger than the canon ship", if she didn't have approval. It was like he told the VAs that they should lie about SS being planned to calm down the fans, as long as they threw in some NS. x)

It more likely that they were told to promote SS because they probably realized that it was the larger of the two fan bases they have left. The whole bashing nH is simply because Junko and probably the other two as well don't like it. Not sure what the NS bits were aout but who knows.

 

As for Kishi hating the ending I became convince of that since i saw that image of him receiving that award in February. He had his honeymoon in January. Why does he look so sick tried and defeated compared to the images from jumpfesta? Answer he knows how badly he series is failing.

 

 

There is no problem with the village in itself but with the people behind it,  what they did for the village and the village mercenary system 

 

The ninjas are mercenaries in first place so your claim that their system is like ours is wrong ( shinobi aren't only the village army per see ) their lives are surrounded by death  and several villages found themselves against other villages as such is the nature of the mission for example, konoha receives a mission to protect someone, kumo ninjas receive a mission to assassinate this someone, cue confrontation, regret and hatred. Kishi failed to explain how this matter was handled 

 

Kishimoto in the end just handwaved those themes, and "peace" was supposedly achieved because the 5 main countries got together to fight Akatsuki, looking like this we could say then that "peace" was achieved thanks to Obito, such a cool guy indeed huh?

It's clear that Kishi messed up his themes and wasn't able to properly address the, even that forgiveness thing is quite flawed 

 

The text I put there also highlights KIshimoto's hypocrisy because most of the things Akatsuki did, the ninja villages already did it too in a certain time and all of these are simply brushed off without a deeper thought and analysis

 

What happened to the bijuu was that Hashirama got them and separated them between the villages, besides Shukaku, I think it's safe to say most of them were actually peaceful until threatened

Instead we got one chapter that just hand waved an wrapped everything up in one chapter then a time skip so we can see the children for the sequel. This would have been bad if they had done it with a NS ending but with the ending they done instead it looks like a complete cop out.

The only thing she has "Sakura" in it is that forced "Shanaro"  LOL . But I see your point fair enough.

 

But that's the thing Fans=Money and they don't think they legitimately think that by focusing on Sakura's ridiculous feelings is SS and doing them a fanservice catering to them and it will get them more Money . While most people would see that as kitten (though SS swallowed that kitten) they think its the opposite which is why I say the whole Naruto team are kittening useless morons who have no clue WTF are they even doing . Heck the last interview with VA should be more then enough proof of it   .    

Honestly the whole pr handling after the ending is one the worst I've ever seen outside of politics.

My honest opinion, it had to do with the Kobayashi interview, which was like two weeks before the Jump Festa. Kishi made the heroine switch due to popularity and how he regretted her character, and thought the only solution to resolve the Sakura hate was to draw her like a Hollywood actress on covers to impress the beta male population. I heard (not sure if it true or not)  that many disgruntled Japs spammed the Assistant's Twitter for Kishi and spam polls that had Sakura higher ranked than Hinata and they spammed why the main reason why Sakura is being hated is because Kishi failed to make Sakura get over Sasuke.  And it shows at the Jump Festa when I saw those photo shots of him, especially in the room with all the VA standing next to him. He looked like he wanted to strangled somebody to death with that fake smile to the camera. It's possibly that his forsake of Sakura's character could be guilt and regret.

Is Pixiv a good measure of knowing the popularity of Naruto in Japanese fanbase ?
Because, I went on the naruto tag once and it's pretty much just filled with pairings (NaruHina, SasuSaku, ShikaTema etc)

It makes me question the japanese fanbase :/
Did they just care about pairings for this series ?

this person says the teaser begins with jiraiya talking while pictures of Naruto scrolling down (or something like that...he wasn't very clear). and a short scene of adult naruto's back and Boruto revolving around. 
also, he said Sasuke's handsomeness is as incredible as ever (lol)

Urgh, seriously? What reason can there be for wearing glasses? Hmm, bad eyesight? Sarada isn't much of an Uchiha, isn't she? And not looking like Sakura at all, too...
