The only good thing that came out of Naruto's ending is that whenever I see another terrible ending and cancerous canon pair, I'll look back on Naruto and tell myself:

 

"It's not as bad as Naruto's ending"/"This couple's canon isn't as bad as SasuSaku's and NaruHina's"

Ha, I could care less. Sure being canon is nice, but does it really matter when you look at all the NS moments, the anti-SS moments, and finally the entire lack of NH moments within the manga. Even consider the fact that the only time NH and SS picked up steam was in the worst arc of the manga. I'd like NS to be canon but I like how well our pairing stacks up with the competition even better.

 

When a series finishes after the hype from the finale wears off all you have are the moments that struck you the most. The ones that make you smile, the ones that made you cry etc.

 

As a NH fan they have maybe one or two. Ointment scene, 615, Pain confession, and 700.

 

SS: cursed mark scene, confession, finger poke

 

NS: Chapter 3, Naruto protecting Sakura from Gaara, Sakura nearly quitting being a shinobi for Naruto's sake (Chunin Exam test), POAL, Kushina Parallel, ramen scene, Naruto asking her out on a date, Numerous times where they blushed at each other, Pain hug, 631, CPR, etc.

 

Too many to list. Yeah I love how they stack up against each other.

To be honest I don't really like it that much. It's still better than boruto or salad but I think it could be a lot better.

In my opinion, it's better than Bolt.and Himawari which are just references to Neji and Hinata's names. Shinachiku seems like a name Sakura and Naruto would have came up with together, while Hinata clearly was the one that chose her kids' names.

Yep, so if that genjutsu scene never happened he wouldn't have been forced into remebering things that were of little significance to him at the time. At this point I would have preferred he ended up like Jiraiya. He might be alone, but he would still devoted to Sakura and not look like a scumbag.

It's such a ridiculous plot point. At this point you might as well say magic is how it happened... which is basically what happened. Their relationship wasn't built so much as Naruto was constantly guilt tripped, everyone not name Naruto needed to become pro NH, and also they needed magic guilt trips....
