Why do you think in the last narutos feelings for Sakura are treated as a crush, or not real?

You know, what was the reason for that in story wise, not that interview one. It just so happened that Hinata now wanted to make a scarf?

i have no idea. you'd think that after neji's funeral they'd talk about the confession, but nope. in fact, their relationship in the movie starts off just like it was in the manga. so not only was her feelings not addressed for two years, their relationship remained stagnant. it's the same old naruto being nice to hinata and hinata being too damn shy. but of course that suddenly changes 30mins into the movie. lol what a joke.

Okay, though I appreciate the spiel, how does it begin to address the points made by these posters? 

 

About the credibility of the negative hating comments, 99% of them not only copy-pasted directly from 2chan but also were only ranting about “Hinata f*** you, f*** you Kishimoto, NaruHina sucks”, and none of them mentioned anything about the movie itself like visuality, music ect. Oh, wait, there was one arguing about the chakra cannon of Kumogakure, forgetting that the cannon was built 2 years after the war. But the legendary “Kakashi would never sending people to a dangerous mission only basing on his 6th sense” crap, while forgetting that the “real Kakashi” was able to believe that a tiny little speech will make Sasuke forgetting about revenge and believing that Sakura wouldn't try to join into his and Sasuke’s fight. 

 

Is this true? Ramen did admit to the information he was relaying to us came specifically from the anti-Hinata and anti-TL threads on 2chan. Cherry-picking responces from specific groups of people doesn't paint a broader picture of dislike or animosity felt towards the movie.

 

“Trustworthy translators”, you mean those NS translators who denied to translate the spoilers of chapter 699 and chapter 700 because of NH and SS happened?

 

Narutoforums is much greater in size compared to the fringe community here. It stands to reason that with greater accessibility to the fans there would come more people from Japan interested in becoming involved in translations for the Western audience. And thus far, no one here has brought up any of the translators that are active on NF besides takL. Where do they stand on the issue regarding the movie?

 

 1.While RTN started at 3rd place then fell out after it’s third week from the top 10, The Last not only got the 1st place that only the Ninja Clash In The Land Of Snow managed, but got the 2nd place too and stayed withing the top 10 for 5 weeks and only fell out after it and even only to the 11th place.

 

2.Despite all of the NS trollings, the box office of The Last didn’t reduced, infact, it is now officialy around 1.9 billion yen (according to churchyll, it was 1.75 billion yen at the end of 2014 december) and not only has the movie 4-5 weeks in japan left, but since they added the foreign showing box offices to the final box office of RTN, they will surely do the same to The Last, and the The Last will be shown in the USA + Brasil + Australia + New-Zeland + Thailand + Singapore and so on. Oh, wait, I forgot: they will showing in Asutralia again because the first time was already a succes. 

 

3.While the only site you can show up is Yahooo, eiga, moviewalkerplus, anikore and other official movie and anime sites giving decent and good reviews. Also, there are no “bad reviews” on youtube, but not even on niconico.

 

Two of the referenced countries don't even qualify as being Western. If this phenomenon of positive complacent thought towards "The Last" was only exclusive to a certain region of the world then how does that account for its acceptance into other non-Western cinemas or amongst its fans? You heard this person. Supposedly the negative reception is concentrated in a few select sites. Were the stigma a commonplace opinion, it would be seen throughout all of the websites, not just one or two.

He is generalizing, there is a lot of comments in 2ch talking abou a myriad of things, he took a small portion of them and is trying to pass off as 99% of everything that is happening there

Also Atheck, you should know that NF (the naruto parts) Is not really that active right now. The only people over there are NH/SS fans. Most neutrals abandoned that kitten in favor of newer and better animes

1- Why is he trying to compare the Last with RTN? An AU movie with not that much of marketing against a marketing beast that was the last, with the hype about being the "canon movie that will tie loose ends" and the "last movie of the naruto franchise",( since the next one will be burrito)

 

2- What trollings? we didn't made anything like hacking yahoo jp did we? those comments are from jp fans, unless they think we are all experts in japanese. Its accounted for that the last didn't live up to its hype in japan. and you know how big part of the western fandom is.

All in all 1.9 billion is a pretty small number for some film with such  high grossing opening weeken,d, so I see this act of sending the last to foreign countries as fast as they can as an act of desesperation. Will it work ? We shall see

 

3- Does he want the opinions of the naruto fandom or paid individuals who probably didn't accompany the naruto manga? He even talked about youtube lol ,  doesnt he  know that most of naruto reviewers on youtube are biased NH fans.

This just proves that the no refund thing existed lol, and that SP was counting on it, they probably knew about that and knew people who were fans of characters like kakashi and sasuke wouldn't be able to get their money back because of this policy, so in short they used it to their favor

Which part of the movie would you say, "people should not defend the story anymore." Mine is the shadow clone. I legit face palm, face down, and just play Ava Maria...at work.

That's one part I can agree on, another part would have to be Naruto's constant moaning Hinata's name as the movie was going.

They didn't get that much development in the manga either,so it was expected the movie would try to deepen their storyline somehow with new scenes from the past no matter how ridiculous they are ( Hinata being bullied when she is the heiress of a insanely powerful clan, Iruka giving that sh*tty lesson about "who would you want to be in the end of the world" to ninjas and so on ) and as they say beggars can't be choosers

Out of some morbid curiosity, I decided to look over articles about when a person is in love with someone... From what I've read and from what was shown in the manga, All signs still point to Naruto actually loving Sakura.

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while.

 

So it seems as if I've missed a lot in my absence. I'm currently in HK on holiday and using my spare time to write so I haven't had a whole lot of time to visit the site and keep up to date on the latest developments that have spawned from the Naruto fiasco but I have heard of the leak. Still can't bring myself to watch the movie. I guess I liken what I'm feeling to a wound that you thought time would heal but didn't and now you're left with a scar and the constant pain brought about when you touch it. Don't know if I have enough tolerance to go through that.

 

Am I any closer to my goal of fixing this mess? Yeah... I guess I am. Every single word that I write down is one step closer to that goal (to reiterate it is my goal to buy out control of SP and make quite a few changes -- not easy but certainly not impossible).

 

I guess my real question is, to those that have watched the film, was it painful to watch? I know that The Last in itself is so ridiculous that it's easy to laugh at and such but is it painful in the fact that it constantly reminds you how great a pairing NS was. I don't know if the answer will make me consider watching the movie for the hell of it but I am curious.

 

Also, I saw on Chatte's facebook a while back that there was an interview posted of another mangaka who "may've" said something about hoping the ending was a genjutsu/IT or something. Was that translated? (Link to said article is here)
