Was it at least "convincing" for this pairing? What did you really get out of this?

The scene wasn't that bad. Just showed them talking around a fire while eating ramen. Since Naruto has to watch over Hinata, they magically get split from the others in almost every moment during the movie.

I bet she'd be the kind of wife to encourage him to make his own healthy bento boxes to bring to work everyday.

They hardly ever showed Sakura with Naruto. Most of the times she appeared with him, Hinata would be right next to him, or at least somewhere close by. The only time they actually get to be alone is during the rivalry scene.

I'm just going to assume Sakura's parents are dead, because no way would they would be accepting of a man who tried to kill their daughter being in a relationship with her.

So really the Naruto that we knew is dead. They killed everything that made Naruto Naruto. Just to make sure that Hinata is rewarded.

On the mission, before they enter the water, Naruto says "Oh, don't want to get this wet" and puts the scarf away into his bag. Hinata notices how much he cares about it I guess and gets upset. Hinata doesn't know that the scarf is from his late mother, but why does she get so upset? She's too sensitive. It's called picking up hints. Hinata probably assumed it was from another girl. This is another example of a scene where we're supposed to feel pity for Hinata, because Naruto is the "fool" who keeps hurting her by mentioning the scarf that's not hers. Ugh and to think this kittener replaces Kushina's scarf for Hinata's 

The only feeling that gets from me is anger. They made me hate this character. Me.

I always wanted Hinata to get development because I actually gave a kitten about her. Now all they managed to do is make me wish Kishi never invented her.

Her character really is a major cause of all of this because SP and Kishi tried to capitalize on her popularity, god knows why she is so popular, and that gave us this kitten ass ending.

@LuckyChi That Shion scene was much more powerful, than anything in the Last. If either Sakura or Hinata were in Shion's place, many would have believed Naruto would have ended up with them.

 

I found it funny how hard SP were trying to change Hinata's eyes. They added shading at the bottom and those little bubbles, that appear in most anime eyes, to give them a shine, cause they know the byakugan is creep as kitten and needed to make them more appealing.
