I feel sorry for those foreign countries who will air THE LAST.  It isn't enough to have given nightmares to japanese people, now they go to give them even outside the country. :argh:

No they aren't nightmares
they are Hinata's tsukoyami wish come true

& NH fans may like that Hinata x Toneri scene a lot :twitch:

I guess... we need to find out

but again, lot of money was wasted on the hype about that song ...
I don't remember any RTN song or even RTN with this much hype

That is true. The Last's hype was probably the most hotly discussed issue out of any film in the Naruto series because of its romantic overtones, the misleading promotional crap, the fact that it was being deemed canon, ect.

I won't hope that the movie will be cancelled in my country but I surely know that only a few would watch it. Even otakus or certified Narutards won't watch the Last considering that it is a waste of money anyway.

I'd already invested my allowance for a 14 volumes of Tokyo Ghoul.

I take it not many people are satisfied with the ending or the contents of the film where you live. Now why could that be? We were lead to believe that the majority of fans in other countries beyond Japan's shores were SS/NH fans who were devoutly committed to their pairings and lusted after Hinata like rabid dogs.

Was Ramen joking when he said the pirated version of the last is out?

yes...
this certainly shows that they were toooo confident about this film either due to Naruto as a brand, expecting that people will swallow Anything served to them

or their over confidence about Hinata's & NH popularity

honestly, I believe that Sakura has larger fandom than Hinata

Before I would have questioned that assumption, but after the excessive Hinata-centrism and destruction of the story for her sake at the hands of Pierrot, it wouldn't surprise me if Sakura's popularity increased as a result of the hatred being felt towards the Hyuga girl.

There are many NH fans here, sadly. Friend of my friend who previously said that he didn't care about the pairing said later that he felt happy NH happened. Lately, my friend who seems a bit carried about my situation (since I text her often complaining the ending) sometimes texts me, joking, "I'm watching naruto now on this channel at this hour since I have nothing to do on my cousin's house (currently airing: chuunin exam, Naruto VS Neji). Look! So many NH parallel!" Now I plan to convert her to be hinata's fans. So that she knows how it feels to be misleaded for 15 years and have empty victory  :zaru:

But the only obstacle is she isn't not into anime/manga/japan related stuffs

I find it strange that any self-respecting and neutral person can possibly like the end pairings. I'm quite over the initial heartbreak now, considering that I've found better manga, and Fairy Tail nearly killed me with the latest chapter. However, the fact still remains.

I guess Hayao Miyazaki was right. I mean, I'm not trying to showcase anybody's flaws or anything, but a large amount of Otakus, who make, if I were to go by Miyazaki's statement, for a majority the industry's employees, around the world happen to not be particularly brilliant at socializing, and hence, may find the absurd 'love' Hinata and Sakura have for Naruto and Sasuke respectively, endearing [While, obviously, looking over a pairing with an actual real life dynamic, like NaruSaku, weird]. Also, there exists the fact that 'Naruto' as a series connected with many Beta-males and females, and perhaps they found some connect in the idea of having somebody swoon over you to the point where it just seems psychotic and absurd if placed in a real life scenario.

Anyway, what's done is done. A lot of amazing fanfictions having been coming up recently, and that has more than satisfied my need for NaruSaku. The ending actually does seem more fan-ficticious[ Is that the word? LoL  ] that actual fanfiction.

And well, Bleach just shook off its rusty and repititative image with this last arc [Honestly, I didn't think Kubo was this amazing. :jawdrop: ]. Then there's Tokyo Ghoul, and My Hero Academia to fill in the void.

That, and the fact that Kishimoto seems like such a half-assed version of what he seemed like at the beginning of shippuden, that I've grown to care more about good NS fanfics that the story. I guess the situation is slowly getting better. :sleepy:

I've heard that even the movie is gonna be airing here, the choosen cinema isn't the one that is spread entire country. Sooo  :zaru:

Sakura is popular among SS fandom
& yes, with her latest design, I think that it may increase further (If Kishi doesn't degrade her character to make Hinata look a better mom)

and yes, SS fandom is definitely large..
maybe west Hates SS but in countries like Phillipines, It is quite popular
and Sakura is popular there too...I guess

Nope. I (with my family) only visited Japan a couple of times.

The choosen cinema that is going to show Naruto is located in almost all the cities in my country. But I do know that I would most likely see a big poster when I'll visit the mall. The Last movie is like a plague, ready to invade the country.

Why in the world SS is so popular? I never saw it...like really even for a second, there is nothing to feel good about SS.

SS was my first ship in naruto before I went neutral then ended up falling in love to NS. And as someone who ever shipped SS, I think it's because they look hot together. At least that's what I felt.

So what's new?

I laughed bad that a movie based on a game made way more than Naruto so easy. Man, that thing is really popular. That lady from tumblr wasn't lying. Legit.

The marketers are idiotic if they believe that Australia, Mexico, and the US are going to become gold mines of revenue that will assure them they made the right decision. Sure, they'll gain some profit, but much of the Western fandom gains its anime media through piracy as you said. Perhaps that's one reason for propping Sasuke up for the next film to gain back some of their lost members.

What is it about her design that appeals to them? Pierrot butchered her for the sake of making Hinata appear more attractive by comparison. More than that, Sakura has always been hated. Even a certain amount of the SS fandom only supports the pairing for the sake of getting Sakura out of the way.

I guess, it's just me don't getting this vibe at all. As much as NH for happy Naruto, surely he can be pictured as happy father and all, but that's not Naruto, he didn't even considered Hinata as someone more then friends like Kiba or Ino, and now...  :zaru:

Where are you from, if I may ask? The poster itself doesn't hurt me. What hurt me is how they make a scarf as red thread replacement. Red scarf like that is my fav and now everytime I see red scarf, pffft!  :cuss:

Off topic but your profile pic always great/cute. Where do you download that?

That's alright. If you like shounen then what I said seems to be hard for you to accept. I'm sure my thoughts comes from my liking to romance related story. When I watched Naruto part 1, I didn't usually watch shounen anime. I usually watched fantasy, sci-fi, drama, but romance had to be the top. So it's kinda influenced me to think like that.

(Bolded words) That's what we agree: last minutes twist/poor development  :zaru: I'm still curious what "personal reason" that Kishi has as an excuse to make NH as endgame.
